Revel Concerta2 F35

Excellent speakers. I am playing them through a Denon Avr 4500 and .an Emotiva preamp A little bright sounding with highs. Love the overall sound. I have 2 subwoofers even though the lows are very good. If you dont have subwoofers, I would go for the F36 which have a much deeper tone. I replaced my 30 year old Pilk LS 70s and am very happy
Pros: Great Sound all around.
Cons: A bit bright highs in a large room.

White Christmas

I was looking to upgrade my Klispch R620's which I really like and make them surrounds.I auditioned 8 different speakers in the 2k neighborhood. The two clear winners were Revel F36 and Focal Chora 826.I wanted to see if any deals were available and seen the F35's were on sale.My room is 14 x24 and has a tendency to enhance the bass so I figured the 35's would suffice since I have a SVS sb2000.Been two weeks now and right out the box these speakers shine for my humble needs. The top end is airy and fills the room and the bass is not elevated.I listen to mostly Amazon HD stream and local radio of course the flac sounds better but the local radio is fine.A few reviews said these were not kind to lower quality recordings but I found them ok.I am running from Denon 3500 and Emotiva Basx 300 amp.I was alittle concerned about the white (only one on sale) but they really look great the finish is top notch.Over all over the moon with the purchase.
Pros: Airy and detailed top end.Nice soundstage great finish
Cons: None at this price point.

Seeing that there are no reviews for these and the fact I own a pair of them and Elac Uni-fi UF5 and a SVS SB-2000 sub and powering it all with a Yamaha s801 Integrated Amp and Blue sound node. I will tell you I love both sets of Towers, The Revels are a touch brighter and scalpel sharp in a detail sense they are a touch less warm and forgiving of anything that is not an immaculate/hi- res recording compared to the uni-Fi and they also take about 20% / more efficient-----(less wattage to reach the same volume )---as the Elac which is a 4 ohm speaker so be aware of that ..I think these Revel speakers are Fantastic and I have about 35 hours on them and they are getting better and better with time and break in ...I will tell you I never believed in break in for speakers but honestly the Elacs really came around a true bargain for performance but not nearly as beautiful as the Revels which are worth it for the finish alone ,As for over all performance the Revels will not disappoint and for the record I have played both sets of towers with no Sub to see their stand alone performance and they are both excellent maybe a touch more bass on Revels ....So i give the Elacs a 9 on performance and a 7.5 in finish and the Revels a 9.5 on performance and a 10 for fit and finish these cabinets are just top notch ..I hope this helps and I didn't confuse anyone.speaker selection is very difficult I'm an OCD Sob and that's why I bought both sets because I couldn't make up my mind ??
Pros: they Give a tremendous performance and allow a you to get a speaker sound that would cost you 1200 piece from say a Bowers and Wilkins cm8 s2
