Product Research

Features

Overview: The Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS M allows you to attach EF and EF-S series lenses with an EF-mount onto the Canon EOS M digital camera with an M-mount. The adapter has a handy integrated tripod mount for use with larger lenses. It comes with the R-F-3 Camera Cover and the Lens Dust Cap EB. An optional LP811 Lens Case (sold separately) is available.

Compatibility: The EF-EOS M's front mount is compatible with all Canon EF and EF-S series lenses. The Mount Adapter's rear mount works with the EOS M camera body only.

Tripod Attachment: When using a tripod, you should use the supplied tripod attachment, especially for longer lenses. This will help alleviate the load placed on the camera's mount. If the lens being attached has its own tripod mount, the lens' mount should be used for better balance.

Performance: Attaching the Mount Adapter EF-EOS M to a lens does not affect lens performance. You can still use the switches on the lens to set lens functions, such as AF/MF focus mode and Image Stabilization. If the settings in the camera menu differ from the settings found on the lens, priority is given to the lens settings.

Dimensions: Width: 2.737", Height: 3.25", Length: 1.22" (1.78" with caps), Weight: 3.9 ounces

Customer Q&A

1 question already asked

Q
Can I use this adapter on my Canon rebel T1i?
[ Ronnie  Mar 04, 2019 ]
1 answer
A
No. It's made for using EF lenses on the M series cameras. Works great for that but pretty much makes you have a big camera again with big lenses.
