So far I only took one shot, handheld. Some leaves and twigs about 100yds away in the neighbor's yard. Crisp like nothing I've seen before. One thing I really appreciate is the integrated electronic level that you can show in the viewfinder as you are shooting. There are nice features that you don't see on the 5dm2 or 6d. For people who appreciate good gear, this is for you.
Pros: Amazing detail.
Cons: If you don't like complexity, this camera may have one too many menus for you.

What you with the 5DSR is medium format resolution and quality without the price. I decided to go for the 5DSR instead of the 5DS since pricing wasn't far too off between the the two models. I wanted to be fully satisfied with the purchase. I wouldn't worry about the whole Moire issue considering the 5DSR utilized Canon's low pass filter cancellation technology. The photos indeed have the ultimate resolution for a DSLR. However, you don't need to use all 50 million pixels. You can shoot M-RAW and get 28mp with S-RAW giving you 12mp!! This makes the camera versatile. Don't be dissuaded by people around the Internet claiming you need a tripod and so forth. You can shoot handheld with no problems, suffice to say you're mindful with your technique. Remember, its you the person behind the camera that makes the shot great. Take time to customize your settings that suit your shooting style, and don't settle for Canon's default auto focus case settings. Experiment with the given case settings. I must say though that's it's quite relaxing and surreal to take your time with the camera when shooting landscape and still-life. The results are breathtaking.
Pros: Image quality Resolution

Camera still in testing phase..... preparing to print a 17" x 32" enlargement to evaluate Canon's "medium format quality" statement. Will update when I have more information.
Pros: Great motorized mirror retraction system......tests indicated 1/2 sec. delay eliminated all mirror bounce/vibration. Camera works great....once I get used to all the control button locations....(after owning a 5D for 8 years !)
Cons: Have not gotton thru the 521 page manual.... been relying on the abbreviated manual.
