Features
Compatibility: The Canon LP-E6N rechargeable lithium-ion battery (7.2V, 1865mAh, 14Wh) is a replacement for the LP-E6 battery, but with slightly higher capacity. The LP-E6N is compatible with the following Canon EOS Digital SLR cameras:
- EOS 5D Mark II
- EOS 5D Mark III
- EOS 5DS
- EOS 5DS R
- EOS 6D
- EOS 60D
- EOS 7D
- EOS 7D Mark II
- EOS 70D
Note: The battery also works with the BG-E9, BG-E11, and BG-E14 battery grips.
No Memory Effect: This battery has no memory effect, so it may be charged without creating memory problems, even if the battery still has remaining charge. The battery does not have to be fully discharged.
Charging: This battery pack is not fully charged upon factory shipment and must be charged before using. To recharge this battery, use Canon's battery charger LC-E6, LC-E6E, or CBC-E6, or the charger that was supplied with the camera.
Protective Cover: When storing the battery, you should attach the protective cover to prevent the electrical contacts from shorting. The cover has a battery-shaped hole that helps you determine whether or not the battery is charged, depending upon how you place the cover. When the battery is charged, you should place the cover over the terminals so that the color blue shows through the hole. When the battery is discharged, you should place the cover over the terminals so the color black is showing.
