Freshen up your sound
Freshen up your sound
Looking to add a little oomph to your system? Swap out your old speakers for Hertz's Dieci Series 6"x9" car speakers and take your sound to a new level. A built-in crossover channels lower frequencies to a treated paper woofer with a special polyurethane surround, while directing the upper frequencies to a paper midrange driver and a PEI dome tweeter. Improved linearity and reliable performance give you impressive dynamic range for new enjoyment of old favorites.

PEI Dome Tweeter: Each speaker has a PEI (Poly-Ether-Imide) dome tweeter. PEI is a polymer film that produces a wide soundstage to improve imaging.
Woofer: The woofer cones are made of water-repellent treated paper.
Midrange: Depending on whether you're reading the information printed on the box or in the manual, you might describe each speaker as having a tweeter and super tweeter, or a tweeter and midrange. The smallest driver, a 15mm dome, is similar to the tweeter on the two-way speakers in the line, so I described that as the tweeter. Thus I described the 2-1/2" treated paper cone as the midrange.
