I just replaced this preamplifier with a PS Audio Stellar for roughly 5x the price of this unit. When the PS showed up, I spent hours doing A-B comparisons trying to decide if the slight improvements were worth it or not. That alone tells me that unit punches above it's price point. The Zphono XRM sounded noticeably better than a Schitt Mani, and I liked the rumble filter option (although it would be nice if it rolled off around 20 Hz instead of 50 Hz) as well as the capability to switch between the MC and MM inputs. I didn't quite get there but I thought I'd have one turntable with a lower end MM cartridge to play records that were not in mint / near mint condition and then use the MC input for my higher end setup. While it's a bit strange to sit here and give this five stars after just trading it in, I do believe it is an outstanding value and has excellent performance for it's price point.
Pros: Dual Input MC/MM Custom cartridge loading options Rumble Filter Excellent sound Aesthetics
Cons: Wish rumble filter had a lower cutoff frequency

I was upgrading from a Pro-Ject Phono Box using a Denon 110 cartridge. The Pro-ject gave me some volume but lacked any sound quality. I can now get back to enjoying my turntable- clean sound with a return of the missing dynamics. Happy with this purchase.
