The Airfree P1000 is part of a unique line of products that uses high temperature — 400°F — to sterilize your air. Bacteria, viruses, fungi, pollen and other microorganisms are eliminated in the P1000's ceramic core, rather than trapped in a filter that must be periodically replaced.

Using physics for the flow, silently
The heated, sterilized air passes through a cooling plate, but retains enough heat to rise up out of the unit. This pulls in cooler air at the intake, located at the purifier's base. You don't need to change a filter or adjust any settings to let the P1000 do its work — which it does in complete silence.

Overview: The Airfree P1000 air purifier is designed for medium-sized rooms, up to 450 square feet. Airfree air purifiers are made in Portugal, and use Thermodynamic Sterilization System (TSS) technology to eliminate viruses, bacteria, fungi, pollen, and other microorganisms from the air. The device operates in 100% silence, so you don't even know it's there. Dimensions: Width: 8", Height: 10.5", Depth 8.125"; Weight: 50.6 ounces (3.16 pounds).
TSS: The Thermodynamic Sterilization System uses heat to purify the air, without the need for filters. Applying the same concept as boiling water, Airfree's TSS Sterilizing Ceramic Core reaches temperatures of 400°F to destroy airborne bacteria, viruses, mold, organic allergens, dust mites, pet allergens, and all airborne microorganisms. The heat in the ceramic core's 32 mini-ducts forces sterilized air up to the cooling chamber causing air convection. This generates negative pressure underneath the ceramic core, so contaminated air is sucked in through the bottom air inlets in a silent continuous air flow. The AirFree P1000 achieves 99.99% air sterilization efficiency at the air outlets.
Night Light: The Airfree P1000 features a blue nightlight that projects a soft light effect on the wall and ceiling. The unit has a touch-sensitive switch that lets you adjust the intensity of the light (10 levels) or turn it off.
