Features

LS300 Speaker Stands: The Pangea Audio LS300 is a high-quality steel speaker stand that not only positions your loudspeaker drivers at the best acoustic height, but it also rigidly holds the speaker for optimal bass performance. This well-designed, all-steel stand solidly supports your monitor or bookshelf speaker improving image focus, reducing mid-range coloration, and tightening the bass performance.

  • The LS300 speaker stand can support up to 48 lbs and is available in five heights - 20" (21.25" w/ spikes), 24" (25.25" w/ spikes), 28" (29.25" w/ spikes), 32" (33.25" w/ spikes) or 36" (37.25" w/ spikes).
  • The Pangea Audio LS300 speaker stands are priced and sold as pairs.

All-Steel Triangular Design: The Pangea Audio LS300 speaker stand boasts an all-steel design with extra heavy-duty hardware to improve your speaker's bass performance. The LS300 stand features three large-diameter steel support columns coupled to steel plates at the top and bottom to form a rigid triangular shape that offers an incredibly strong platform for improved speaker performance.

  • Steel Top-Plate: The steel top-plate measures 6" wide x 9" deep and fits a variety of compact monitor and bookshelf-style speakers. Four soft rubberized top pads are supplied for speaker isolation.
  • Steel Columns: The three steel columns, approximately 1.6" in diameter, form a very rigid triangular shape for extra stability. Oversized solid metal bolts rigidly couple the support columns to the base and top-plate. Two of the columns can be filled with sand or steel shot for even better vibration damping.
  • Steel Base: The steel base measures 9.75" wide x 12" deep, and provides a solid and rigid platform for the stand and your speaker.

Spike Feet: The LS300 speaker stand comes with adjustable carpet-piercing steel spikes that install to the welded channels on the bottom of the heavy-duty base. These steel spikes help to isolate the stand and your speaker from the floor, absorbing vibration energy and preventing uwanted coloration of sound.

Note: The spike feet can damage hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl and other hard surface flooring. No rubber feet or protective discs are included with these stands.

Wire Management: One of the Pangea Audio LS300 stand's support columns has openings at the top and the bottom for hiding and organizing your speaker wires.

Q
Will these support a pair of older Polk Monitor Series 5jr? The speakers are 9" x 9" and weigh approximately 20 lbs each?
[ CARL  Apr 19, 2023 ]
1 answer
A
Greetings Carl, and thank you for your question. The top plate is 6x6 so your good there. Each stand supports up to 48 pounds, so you should have no issues with the older Polk speakers.

Hi Ken, I'm currently not using the spikes but I'd say 1/4 20 is a good guess.

Q
Will these stands fit a pair of q acoustics 3020i speakers?
[ More  Jan 08, 2021 ]
4 answers
A
yes it should but any stands in 28 inch will be better.
[ CHENG  Jan 08, 2021 ]
A
Yes, I have SVS Prime Bookshelf speakers which are similar in size to your Q Acoustics 3020i speakers but the SVS speakers are heavier and they fit nice.
[ REGGIE  Jan 08, 2021 ]
A
Absolutely! I have my Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500M (a bit larger than those Q Acoustics) as rears on the original top mount plates. I also have the larger top plates, but only needed the original (smaller) top plates. I filled 2 tubes (each stand) with sand to add some base weight. Very stable/sturdy stands and should should work great for your speakers!
[ DARRON  Jan 08, 2021 ]
A
I don't know. What I can tell you is that I purchased them for use with a pair of KEF LS50 speakers. I was going to purchase the larger plate but they were out of them so all I got was the pair of stands. However, when they arrived I realized that I didn't need the larger plates. I guess you could look up the measurements of the LS50s and see how they compare to your speakers. Lastly, I have to say that I quite like them. They seem to work well.
[ CHRISTOPHER  Jan 08, 2021 ]
Q
The top plate looks small for the Klipsch RP-600 M II. Can it still work? What stand is best for this speaker?
[ ALEXANDER  Jan 02, 2023 ]
1 answer
A
Greetings Alexander, and thank you for your question. The Pangea LS300s are a recommended stand for the Klipsch RP600m. Most cases the top plate is going to be smaller than the speaker. This plate is 6x6, and the included rubber pads help keep the speaker from sliding off the stand.

Q
Will these fit with Buchardt S400 MkII speakers? The dimensions are 7" by 11".
[ Deniz  Dec 18, 2022 ]
1 answer
A
This should do nicely with the 6"x6" top plate that is included. A bit of overhang for the speaker is normal. However, a more stable solution would be to purchase the optional set of LS300 top plates that measure 6"x9". Here's a link to that item: www.crutchfield.com/p_325PGLSTP/item.html

Q
Hi! Would these work well for a pair of Definitive Technology PowerMonitor 700s, or should I should go bigger with the DS400s? They're deeper than they are wide (about 6 3/4' wide and about 12" deep), and weigh over 30 lbs each. Thanks!
[ THOMAS  Jun 10, 2021 ]

A
Either of the Pangea speaker stands will handle the weight of your monitors. It's the top plate that is cause for my concern. The largest top plate available for the Pangea stands, whether they are the 300's ot 400's, is 6" x 9" which means it will not be a full platform for your monitors. I have this situation myself and it's reallyy not a big deal. I'm inclined to recommend that you go with the 400's for greater stability even though they do look a little bulky. I'm very pleased with my Pangea 300's but I had to specify the 6"x 9" top plate for the 28 inch height.

A
Those dimensions feel like you would want the bigger one.
[ MIKE  Jun 10, 2021 ]
A
Hello, Thomas. The LS300s are very well built and should be sturdy enough for your heavier speakers, especially if you fill the posts with sand or shot (I haven't done that yet, but might when I figure out where their permanent home will be). The optional larger top plates are a good idea, though. At $24.95, the extra depth (6x9 vs the standard 6x6) will fit your speakers better and you're still under the cost of the 4-pillar DS400s. Those plates didn't come with the little pads, as I recall, so either reserve the ones that come with the 6x6s or get yourself something else like blue tack or whatever). I thought the 3-post LS looks a little nicer and lighter with a skinny speaker like yours (I bought them for my ELAC B5.2s), but the beefier DS does have its own appeal, too. Good luck and good listening! John W.

Yes, but you probably need to buy the optional top plate set 6 x 9. They worked perfect for my Polk S20's bookshelf speakers. I bought the 28" tall which fits perfect at ear level when I sit on my sofa. They are sturdy, well constructed and look great. Thank you Crutchfield.! I am a happy customer enjoying Hi Res audio.??

Q
Will the Martin Logan 35xti be too big for these?
[ MICHAEL  May 22, 2021 ]
2 answers
A
Yes, your speakers will be just a little bit bigger than the stands. But these speakers stands are of high quality and are very solid! I have a pair of Klipsch's RP 600m. On these for the last 3 years and my dimensions are even a little bigger then your Martin Logan. You have a little over hang on both ends but not much! Again these are very well maid! These will work for your Martin Logan 35xti!!

Hi, I am using these with Kef Q350 speakers, which are 8-5/16"W x 14-1/4"H x 12-1/16"D. They weigh 16.8 lbs. The Pangea stands are very sturdy.

Q
Do these fit Klipsch R15PM?
[ Connor  Jan 22, 2023 ]
1 answer
A
Greetings Connor, and thank you for your question. The Pangea LS300 stands are a recommended stand for the Klipsch R15 PM speakers. The speakers will just sit on top of the plate, not physically attach.

They do, Bernd! We pair the fantastic Pangea Audio LS300 in 24" and 28", but you can use the 36" tall version if that best fits your setup! Do make sure to have them on firm footing, the taller the speaker stand of course the more important a solid setup is!

Q
I have a pair of Audioengine HD6 speakers. Will they work? I sit in a love seat, what would be the proper height of the stans for me?
[ LORRAINE  Jul 03, 2022 ]
1 answer
A
We do recommend these Pangea Audio LS300 for use with the fantastic Audioengine HD6 speakers, no problem. These particular 36" height models are the tallest available in the LS300 line, so if you are in a loveseat, getting the speakers level with your ears and above any armrest or sofa back is a great move! Dialing in the exact speaker height for your personal setup is tough on my end, but the HD6 tweeter would be at about 46" from the floor with these models. It never hurts to pull out the old tape measure before ordering, but I think these 36" models should be a great fit for most applications.

I have a pair of ancient Criterion 8 inch 2 way, 21"h, 12"w, 11"d, 20lbs Will these work?.
[ Brett  Jul 07, 2021 ]
2 answers
A
The stands' platform that you place the speakers on is pretty small, but they'll work. Just use some blu-tack to secure the speakers and bear in mind you cannot fill the stands with sand despite what Pangea says.
[ THOMAS  Jul 07, 2021 ]
A
If you don't mind them hanging over a bit. My speakers measures 8"w x 15 3/4"h x 11 7/8"d They hang over a bit but are very sturdy I have been using them for over a year now with no problems! I have checked out other stands but these matched for the proper height. And where the best bang for your buck and well made! Again they are very solid and if you don't mind your speakers hanging over a bit. Then yes! Hope this helps.
