Fm is terrible and the Bluetooth often glitches allowing song skip vo;use level control but no sound as if the mute option is broken.

Not worth 500

Fm sucks as previously stated. Bluetooth works but clarity is also horrible. I took two hours trying to tune it to its best sound. Couldn't achieve anything. No quality sound. System crackles at every volume level. The seven equalizer settings only make things worst. If your looking for clear sound this isn't it. If your looking for screeching speakers these work. I've installed plenty of complete systems and my customer is not happy after this one.
Pros:
Cons: All of it

FM flop. Bluetooth hero.
Crutchfield customer from Remsen, NY on 7/20/2020
The MRB3 unit was a replacement for an older failed SSV works unit in a polaris ranger. The MRB3 is a very simple to install and operate system, with good quality connections. It's loud enough for high noise. Bluetooth links and works great. The problem: FM radio sensitivity is poor at best...no matter the antenna;and I have a variety that have been tried. I can't understand why it's so hard to install a GOOD FM chip-set in 2020?? If SSV sells it with "fm"...it should work, and work well.
Pros: Great sound from the bluetooth section.
Cons: Don't buy it for the FM.

There is a lot of radio and options packed into this little head unit, now if they could just change a couple option like i mention below, this would be a radio that would be hard to beat in quality and sound.....do suggest you buy high quality marine grade speakers for this unit.....
Pros: All the funchions this radio can do surpasses what ive seen out there, its waterproof and very rugged...
Cons: Haft to buy the plate that fits what your trying to mount too instead of giving you options included in the price...for example just to mount it on a flat surface it cost me $50 extra for the piece of plastic, also gives you just regular screws to install instead of security bit screws so where you mount it doesnt get stolen....
