I purchased this to complement my Linton 85th anniversary speakers I'm using as double duty for 2 channel music and for movies tv etc.. I have them running to a NAD T758 v3i. I had about 4 different center channel speakers in my cart.. I did massive amounts of reading before I made the purchase on what I wanted.. I was going to get CS 9080 it was marked down and has the powered bass. well I did the messaging through the website and started a chat with Artie.. he advised me to keep my set up all brand specific.. the 12c was half the cost of what I was looking.. it's a beautiful speaker.. sound is rich and smooth and pairs very well. I'm glad I did get this speaker. The dialogue is clear, having the 3rd center channel makes a world of difference watching movies. The Lintons are beyond beautiful with music, the constant review line of no fatigue is correct.. music is perfect. The 12c I don't use for music just when watching movies. When you turn down the front channel because the house is vibrating you also turn down the dialogue coming through too. With the 12c all channels can be at a level that is enjoyable to hear dialogue and other sounds , music in the scene. They look beautiful sound beautiful.. trusted name. Read the reviews from crutchfield staff or audiophile websites.. you will read you can't go wrong at the price. Don't be fooled by the price be the envy of others that pay much more for less!

The build quality is good and it looks good. But that's where pros end. Vocals are sharp and too directional. I kept looking at this speaker as I could pinpoint where the sound is coming from. The sound felt disconnected from the TV screen the entire time. I have a cheap NEUMI CS5 Center channel speaker that does a way better job than this (except the max volume). I cannot recommend this to anyone.

Excellent center channel. There is a wonderful balanced clarity to this component and makes it a real game changer for movie and TV dialogue. We paired it with the Diamond 12.2 bookshelf's and an SVS SB-100 woofer and absolutely love the balance and detailed clarity it added to our TV/movie time.
Pros: Excellent dialogue clarity.

I found the highs to be sharp for my taste. It is a wonderful looking speaker - performance just was not for me.
