Beautiful, great sounding speakers
Rick from Houston Tx on 12/21/2021
Upgraded from a pair of Martin Logan towers paired with a McIntosh ma5300 integrated amp to the Elysian 4's paired with a McIntosh MA352 hybrid amp. Couldn't be happier. These speakers are beautiful (especially in walnut finish) and they produce fantastic sound. I especially enjoy how they sound with vinyl (the VPI prime signature turntable pairs magically with these speakers and sounds far better than even when I stream through my Naim unit). Expensive, yes, but the value is there. I highly encourage you to consider these speakers.

Yeah, they're that good...

Yeah---these things are good. So...just to throw this out there, and NOT do a "polite brag"... I'm a studio engineer, and I know "sound", and I'm also an audiophile... for a LONG time. I've been around the block a time or two ;). Had been on a quest for new speakers for a new move to a new home. Had to leave behind others like Apogee's, B&W's, Def Tech's, Thiel's, etc., and found ourselves in a new space... Went through MANY...tried "bookshelves", but...they just wouldn't do. Heard "Klipsch's are amazing...", but...nope, not for me. That Horn is too harsh, and that throaty, metallic upper midrange is just tooo much... Those things work for people, and that's fine, but, it just wasn't for me. This thing had the ribbon in the upper mid that matched SO much better with the lower mids and the upper lows, and had that ribbony presence that made imaging SO fantastic. At least in MY place. I was using a tube amp, and then went to an NAD M33 as I'm trying to get to a streaming system (even though I still have LOTS of vinyl that I play on my Rega TT--analog is even BETTER on these things!) . All I can say is...if you can afford this (they are ridiculously expensiveJ), and if you have the amp that can deliver to it the power it requires (it is quite efficient, but...it needs a good bit of oomph if you want to bring out those lows), then...you simply will not be disappointed. We surely haven't been, and it is the end of our search.
Pros: Amazing sound, imaging, efficiency, and extended range.
Cons: Price.

Sounds better than its look
Crutchfield customer from Austin, TX on 5/16/2021
What a beautiful pair of speakers. Incredible build quality and even more incredible sound. I have had it for only a month so am still breaking into it and it has not realized its full potential. I am using a Mark Levinson 5805 amp which opens up the sound stage even more. There are reviews out there with more detailed technical specifications. You need a big room to fully enjoy this speaker. I just switched from a B&W/Marantz combo and I am mighty pleased with the current pairing.
