About the Victrola Premiere T1

Eric A.

A turntable with a legendary legacy...

Victrola has been a household name for music lovers since the early days of the 20th century, and they're still going strong. The company's Premiere T1 turntable does the same thing their original "talking machines" did —  it plays your favorite records, and looks good while doing so.
Victrola Premiere T1 turntable

The Victrola Premiere T1's VinylStream™ technology lets you stream wirelessly to compatible speakers.

A turntable with a legendary legacy...

Victrola has been a household name for music lovers since the early days of the 20th century, and they're still going strong. The company's Premiere T1 turntable does the same thing their original "talking machines" did —  it plays your favorite records, and looks good while doing so.

It's a fully manual belt-drive 'table with a solid metal platter and a built-in phono preamplifier, so you can connect to just about any receiver, amp, or powered speaker system and be listening in no time. The aluminum tonearm features an adjustable counterweight and anti-skate knob, and comes equipped with a pre-mounted Victrola VPC-190 moving magnet cartridge.

...and some modern touches

As I mentioned above, you can make a wired connection with the rest of your sound system. But the T1's VinylStream™ technology also lets you connect wirelessly to a Bluetooth-enabled speaker system or portable speaker. Doing away with the speaker wire gives you so much more flexibility. You can put 'table and speakers where they fit — and where they sound best — in your personal space.

Features

Premium Components: The Victrola Premiere T1 turntable features a belt driven metal platter, wooden plinth, and aluminum tonearm with an adjustable counterweight and anti-skate knob to keep your vinyl records playing in top condition. The T1 record player also includes Victrola's first high-performance VPC-190 MM (moving magnetic) cartridge, creating detailed clarity with a wider frequency response and specified downforce.

2-Speed (33-1/3 & 45 RPM): The Victrola Premiere T1 turntable features a manual belt drive design that supports playback of 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records (a 45 RPM adapter is included).

Bluetooth 5.0: The Premiere T1 turntable features built-in Bluetooth 5.0 with support for wireless audio streaming (A2DP). You'll be able able to wirelessly transmit audio from the turntable to your Bluetooth-enabled AV receiver, integrated amplifier, powered speakers, or headphones (all sold separately). Now you can enjoy wireless playback of your vinyl record music collection. Multiple components can be paired and connected with the Premiere T1 turntable, but only one can be used for playback at a time. The turntable has a wireless Bluetooth range of approximately 33'.

Note: When Bluetooth is activated, the turntable's stereo RCA output is muted.

Optional Powered Speaker & Sub: Wirelessly connect the Premier T1 turntable to Victrola's Premier M1 powered speaker system (sold separately) via Bluetooth for dynamic, full-range stereo sound. The Premier M1 speaker system also features a sub output, so you can connect Victrola's Premier S1 powered subwoofer (sold separately) for fuller and deeper bass extension.

Built-In Preamp: The switchable built-in preamp allows for connection to an AV receiver or integrated amplifier with or without a Phono input. With the built-in preamp turned "On", you can connect the turntable to a standard line-level RCA input on your receiver or amp. With the built-in preamp turned "Off", you can connect the turntable to a dedicated Phono MM input on your receiver or amplifier.

Stereo RCA Outputs: The Victrola Premiere T1 is outfitted with a stereo RCA line-level output for a hardwired connection to an AV receiver or integrated amplifier with a Phono MM or line-level input.

Dust Cover: The Premiere T1 includes a clear plastic, hinged dust cover to protect the turntable from debris and dust built up.

Detachable AC Power Cord: The Victrola Premiere T1 comes with a detachable 6' AC power cord (2-prong C7) that plugs into the back of the turntable and into an AC wall outlet or surge protector (sold separately - see Accessories Tab).

Customer Q&A

6 questions already asked

Q
can you play thru bluetooth and the rca connected speakers at the same time?
[ d-boy  Jan 14, 2023 ]
1 answer
A
With the sweet Victrola Premiere T1 activating the Bluetooth output does indeed mute the RCA output, Dennis. You cannot play both at the same time, sadly.

Q
what is the depth without the dust cover?
[ Mark  Jan 06, 2023 ]
1 answer
A
Good question, Mark. While the dust cover can be removed, the lower cover mounts are permanently attached to the Victrola Premiere T1 with screws, we would not advise removing. We can use the same 15.3125" depth measurement for both dust cover/non dust cover installs, especially taking the RCA connections and power connections into consideration for the depth. I hope this helps!

Q
Can I connect this to my Jamo S 801 PM speakers?
[ DONALD  Sep 24, 2022 ]
1 answer
A
Absolutely, Donald. This Victrola Premiere T1 does have an onboard pre-amp built in. You can connect this deck to your analog RCA inputs on the rear of your Jamo's, and your listening in minutes!
