Features
Overview: The Redemption ANC 2 True Wireless earphones from The House of Marley consists of separate left and right earbuds without any connecting cables. The earbuds recharge their batteries in a hinged charging case which extends the playback time. Included with the Redemption ANC 2 earbuds are three pairs of silicone ear tips and a USB-C charging cable.
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): Six external microphones are designed to pick up ambient noise. The noise is cancelled by an equal-but-opposite audio signal, so all you hear is your music or your phone call. You can also activate the Ambience Mode, which uses those same microphones to feed the ambient noise into the earbuds, so you can carry on a brief conversation or hear the announcement at the airport without removing your earbuds.
Call Clarity: The same microphones used for ANC and Ambience Mode also make your phone calls sound clear. Beamforming technology picks up your voice while rejecting unwanted ambient noise and echo noise for excellent call quality.
Materials: The earbud housing and charging case are made of Natural Wood Fiber Composite with a solid natural bamboo accent. The composite material combines wood derivatives and plastic fibers, resulting in a very durable product. Bamboo is highly renewable, and has a higher compressive strength than wood, as well as high tensile strength.
Onboard Controls: The natural bamboo accent on each earbud acts as a touch control. The touch controls let you adjust the volume, play, pause, and skip music tracks, as well as answer or end a phone call. In-ear sensors allow you to pause your music by removing one earbud, and resume playback by putting it back in.
Eartips: The eartips are made of REGRIND™ Silicone, a special material made from reclaimed and upcycled post-process and post-consumer waste. The eartips gently conform to the shape of your ear for a comfortable fit and a good acoustic seal. Three pairs of eartips are included to help you find a proper fit.
Water Resistance: The Redemption ANC 2 True Wireless earphones are IPX5 water- and sweat resistant, making them ideal for those with an active lifestyle. This allows you to wear them in inclement weather, or during rigorous workouts.
Battery: Each earbud and the charging case have a built-in rechargeable battery. Each time you put the earbuds in the case, the 50 mAh earbud batteries begin charging. Fully charged earbuds provide about 6 hours of playback time. The charging case, when fully charged, has enough capacity (400 mAh) for three additional charges to give you over 24 hours of listening. A 15-minute quick charge will give you two hours of playback time. The charging case is compatible with Qi wireless charging technology. Simply place the charging case on a wireless charging pad to begin charging. The charging case can also be recharged with the included USB-C cable. Charging time is between 2 and 3 hours.
House of Marley App: To maximize your listening experience, the House of Marley app lets you customize your Redemption ANC 2 True Wireless earphones. In the app, you can customize the touch controls for each earbud. The built-in equalizer provides eight EQ profiles, including Acoustic, Bass Booster, Bass Reducer, Classical, Hip Hop, Jazz, Rock, and Flat. You can also use the 10-band equalizer to create your own EQ profiles for your own musical tastes. The app also lets you adjust the level of the Active Noise Cancellation. You can change the pairing name of your earphones, get access to the user guide, and keep your earbuds up to date with firmware updates. The House of Marley app is compatible with Apple iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 9.0 or later, and Android devices running OS 4.4 and up. It is also compatible with Macs with the Apple M1 chip and running macOS 11.0 or later.
