Overview: The Scanstrut ROKK "Active" Waterproof Wireless Phone Charger uses Qi technology to wirelessly charge your compatible smartphone or device, and is designed to be surface-mounted on top of a console, cabinet, shelf, or other horizontal area. The spring-loaded clamping phone cradle can accommodate devices from 4.55" to 7.45" long. Soft rubber pads on each clamp provide a firm tactile grip on your device while protecting it against scratches.

Note: Drilling of the mounting surface will be required for installation.

Qi Wireless Charging: Qi is the global standard for smartphone wireless charging. Wireless charging uses electromagnetic fields to safely transfer power from a transmitting source to a receiving device to wirelessly charge the device's battery. The ROKK Active Qi charger can provide 5W (5V/1A) of charging power for your device while securely holding it in the cradle. Scanstrut's foreign object detection technology automatically prevents charging if something other than a Qi-enabled device is placed on the mount. The mount can wirelessly charge phones in non-metallic, waterproof cases.

Mounting: The Scanstrut ROKK Active charger is designed to be mounted to a flat surface such as a console, shelf, or cabinet, using the provided stainless-steel hardware. Four screw holes can be accessed by expanding out the spring-loaded arms and placing the provided Active Installation Jig into the cradle (part of packaging). This will keep the arms expanded while installing.

Powering: The wireless charging cradle features 20" bare-ended power and ground wires, extending from the rear panel, that will need to be connected into the craft's electrical system. The cradle can be powered from 12VDC or 24VDC systems and requires 1.5A (max.) of input power.

Testing & Certification: The ROKK Active charger uses Scanstrut's world-renowned expertise in waterproofing technologies, UV stabilization techniques, and premium grade materials to ensure long-lasting durability. Development included subjecting it to the harshest environmental, thermal, vibration, and on-water testing programs. International certifications include: Qi, CE, FCC, RoHS, and UNECE R10 E24.
