Overview: The Series 2 Polarizing Filter (NBDVRS2PF) is an accessory for select Nextbase Series 2 Dash Cameras. It is designed to help you record clear video by reducing the glare from your windshield. The filter mounts to the front of the lens via its adhesive pad. Once installed, you can adjust the polarizing effect until the video is clear.

Compatibility: The Series 2 Hardwire Kit is compatible with select Nextbase Series 2 Dash Cams, including the 422GW, 322GW, 222, and 122. It is not compatible with the 622GW and 522GW because they have built-in polarizing filters.

Polarizing Effect: When the sun shines directly on your vehicle's windshield, glare and reflections can affect your vision through the glass. The Polarizing Filter/Reflection Free Lens reduces the glare on your windshield so the dash cam can record the road ahead clearly. The filter also enhances the color and contrast levels in bright sunlight. The Polarizing Filter helps you capture more details in your videos, such as license plate numbers and vehicle types.

Installation and Adjustment: The Polarizing Filter has an adhesive pad on the back for attaching it to the bezel of the camera lens. Once the lens is attached, and the protective film is removed, the lens is ready to use. You can adjust the polarizing effect by rotating the front bezel of the filter. A setup procedure for optimizing the Polarizing Filter using a sheet of white paper is described in the manual.
