Great Amplifier for the price, it hit's all the bells and whistles for the treble, mid range and bass, and the clarity is real good too.

Pros: It comes with everything you need to hook up for digital and analog devises.

Cons: I have nothing.

I use this IA with a pair of 85th anniversary Linton's, input via USB from PC, and the sound is powerful, clear and detailed. Excellent performance for an IA, and i have no regrets spending the money on it. Highly recommend it.

This is my 3rd Rotel amplifier over 20 years. Like the others it delivers clean and powerfully staged sound. Crutchfield delivered the amplifier quickly. Couldn't be happier.

Pros: Great input source flexibility

Cons: Only one 384/32 bit capable input

RO-RO-ROTEL.....SUPERB AB AMPLIFICATION

Having purchased items from Crutchfield in the past, I can say that their customer service and shipping is second to none. I remember as a young man just entering the audiophile world of anticipating the Crutchfield catalogue and drooling over the (then) unaffordable, amazing products. As I matured and was now able to afford my dream system, I promised myself I would look at the product, price and quality without any care for the brand name. This has held me in good stead as I have assembled 4 specific HiFi kits (dream systems) to meet different needs and environments. When I was looking to upgrade my tired Onkyo Integra A-6067 (a venerable 35 year old amp) for my office kit due to working remotely because of COVID-19, I began researching Integrated amplifiers in the $2,000-$3,000 range for the home office kit. This is an extremely competitive price point and the plethora of choices is plentiful (search on this site and 20 amplifiers will appear in this price point). In any event, I chose this RA-1572 because it is a 120 watt (8 ohm) AB amplifier design, has a massive torroidal transformer and an amazing AKM 24/784 DAC built in. At about 30 pounds, it also has solid heft and a 5 year warranty. ROTEL has been around for nearly 60 years yet they are not a household brand by any means. This amp is easy to control, has a minimalist design, and offers strong neutral sound throughout the spectrum. At this price it is an outstanding value. Highly recommended for any app

Pros: 1. Excellent Build Quality and Workmanship 2. 200 watts into 4 ohms--enough clean power to drive the largest speaker systems 3. High damping factor prodices clean, solid bass. 4. Neutral consistent delivery of mid and high range sound 5. Low distortion (.03%) 6. High end AKM 24/784 DAC

Cons: NONE !!

I purchased a 1572 about a year ago to pair with a Pair of Magnepan .7s. I auditioned it against the Peachtree audio nova 300 and to say it blew the nova out of the water would be an understatement. I'm currently using a CXN V2 as my streamer running it into the Rotel via coax to take advantage of the onboard dac. The difference between the two receivers was akin to the feeling of listening to true stereo for the first time. The clarity of the Rotel was incredible, paired with the Magnepans amazing environmental sound jazz tracks feel like having a band sitting in my living room. The receiver is able to easily drive the notoriously difficult Magnepans, and I rarely take the volume over 50%. One thing I will say is the receiver has a tendency to make a clicking sound when the voltage on a circuit drops. Its not constant, and should be easily fixed with a power conditioner, but it seems to be a byproduct of the transistor style switches they use. The hotel really is a gem of a receiver, and I'd recommend to anyone building a system around Magnepans or any other hard to power speakers.

Pros: Clarity in spades Minimal design Powers difficult speakers (magnepans) Incredible Dac Bluetooth function is easy to use

Cons: Not the beast headphone out Clicking sound when switching signal paths from switches Heavy
