About the Renogy Phoenix 300 Power Station

Rechargeable, versatile, and portable power

While it's not the '80's rock band The Power Station, Renogy's Phoenix 300 Power Station does delivers solid power in its own way. Whether you're looking for some peace of mind during a blackout or want some reliable power for your RV or camp site, Renogy provides connections for all kinds of devices, as well as multiple ways to keep the Phoenix 300's beefy lithium ion battery ready to go. With built-in protection for voltage, temperature, and surge issues, Renogy also keeps the Power Station (and your gear) safe. And all of this comes in a 6.4-pound portable package.

Charge all kinds of gear

You'll find four USB ports, including one Quick Charge USB-A port and one USB-C port with Power Delivery, that provide battery backup for portable electronics such as smartphones, laptops, wireless headphones, LED lights, action cameras, and more. This power supply's pure sine wave inverter lets its two AC outlets safely power delicate electronics, such as portable CPAP machines. A CIG outlet and a D-Tap port — great for photography and video equipment — round out the list of versatile charging options. And while you're powering your gear, front panel LEDs let you know the amount of charge left on the Power Station.

Three ways to charge

To keep the Power Station's battery replenished, you can use the included AC/DC adapter to plug into a wall outlet. Or, you can plug the included USB-C cable into the Phoenix 300's dual-purpose USB-C port and a USB wall charger (not included) to charge the Power Station, as well. And how's this for cool? You can actually combine the AC and USB-C power methods and cut the charging time in half. And if you want to use a natural charging source, combine one of Renogy's compatible solar panels with the Power Station's included DC adapter and you can use the sun to give the battery some juice.

Product Research

Features

Overview: The Renogy Phoenix 300 Power Station is a lightweight, portable rechargeable AC power supply with up to 337Wh of energy capacity. The Phoenix 300's high-energy battery cells can power a wide range of devices with its 8 charging ports, which include a fast-charging 60W USB-C port, 3 USB-A ports, and two 120V AC ports. Designed for portable use, the Phoenix 300 can provide up to 300W of continuous power for camping and outdoor adventures, emergency use, as well as re-charging portable devices when away from AC power sources.

Stable Power: The Renogy Phoenix 300 Power Station features a pure sine wave inverter power supply that imitates being connected to mains power. Pure sine waves produce cleaner, more reliable electricity, making it ideal for sensitive devices such as a CPAP machine. Typical power supplies produce modified sine waves which are more prone to voltage fluctuations and aren't ideal for devices with sensitive electronic circuitry.

Internal Battery: The Phoenix 300 features a built-in 14.4V Lithium-ion rechargeable battery with a 337Wh capacity, providing up to 1000 cycles to 80% capacity. Four Battery Level LED indicators can display the remaining battery capacity - 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The following ports are provided for recharging the internal battery:

  • DC Input Port: The DC port can be used with the included AC/DC power adapter for charging from an AC outlet. The DC charging port can also be used for charging with one of Renogy's optional solar panels (sold separately). Charging time is approximately 8 hours for either power source.
  • USB-C: The USB-C port can be used for both recharging the internal Lithium-ion battery and for charging personal devices that use a USB-C connection. USB-A to USB-C and USB-C to USB-C cables are provided for connecting to an AC/USB charger (sold separately).

Device Charging Ports: The Renogy Power Station provides a variety of different ports for charging your devices. Rubberized front-panel buttons along with 4 LED indicators are provided for selecting each charging method.

  • AC Outlets (2): Two AC outlets can provide a 110V/60Hz, 200W (350W surge) output.
  • D-Tap Port: This 2-prong outlet can be used for connecting a DSLR camera, camcorder, LED light, or other photography or videography equipment.
  • CIG Port: A cigarette lighter socket can be used for items such as a portable refrigerator, car vacuum, air fan, CPAP machine, and more.
  • USB-A Ports (3): Three USB-A ports (two 2.0 and one 3.0) are provided for powering smartphones, tablets, digital cameras, and other USB devices. The USB-A 3.0 (QC) port can provide up to 18W maximum at 3.6-6V/3A, 6.5-9V/2A, 9-12V/1.5A outputs. The two USB-A 2.0 ports can provide 5V/2.4A each (3.4A total maximum).
  • USB-C Port: The USB-C PD (Power Delivery) port can provide up to 60W at 5-12V, for laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc. The USB-C port can be used for charging devices as well as recharging the internal Lithium-ion battery.

LED Lights: Built-in LED lights on each side of the carry-handle can provide powerful lighting that can be activated from the front panel. Each press of the LED button will cycle through the four LED lighting modes - Bright, Dim, Flashing, and SOS for emergencies.
