Long long range.

I wanted to wait until I had this radar detector for at least six months before I would submit a review. It has been almost seven months. I live in Florida but travel into Georgia and Alabama every week. I average between 2500 to 3000 miles a month driving a minivan for work. The range on this detector is insanely long. It picks up troopers and police well over a mile away and in some cases over two miles away. It has rarely given false signals on the interstate/highway but it will pick up the occasional automatic door in the city or towns. City mode cuts that down quite a bit. I've experienced every radar gun that this will pick up. It works great. I didn't need a more expensive unit with GPS and camera warnings so this unit was perfect for my needs. If you don't want to spend more then a couple of hundred and still want maximum range with little to no false alarms, this one works.
Pros: Very long range. Few false alarms.
Cons: None. It does what I need it to do.

Pick them up, before your picked up

It works well on long range pick up. I noticed after having it a few weeks that false signals have increased in the city. But it is a good radar for the money.

I travel a lot for work and needed something that I can take with me in and out of rental cars, and also use in my personal car at home. This thing is awesome. I got help from Radenso with the settings (Auto-City Mode is a savior) It keeps it quiet through town so things like the drug store, grocery store and other things don't make it go off but once my speed picks up, it is smart enough to recognize that and adjust. Brilliant. Crutchfield answered all my questions and helped me pick it out and I'm so happy I did. Also happy that Radenso could help me dial it in right away. I'm a big fan of customer service and I'm thrilled. This is the best gift ever, and I'm elated that my wife listened and got this for me!

I bought this radar detector because of the price, I've only used it for a couple months now, but so far so good, although it does seem to go off a lot in town.
Pros: so far so good, it seems to pick up radar to give you enough notice to slow down if necessary
Cons: It does go off a lot, especially near any automatic door openers at business'
