Features
Overview: The OSD Forza-8 is an in-ground subwoofer designed for home landscape applications. The omnidirectional outdoor subwoofer can provide a full 360˚ of sound dispersion while easily blending in with your backyard, patio, garden, or pool area.
Construction: The Forza-8 in-ground subwoofer features an 8" polypropylene cone woofer mounted in a UV-and impact-resistant ABS enclosure. This combination provides deep bass in a wide 360˚ dispersion pattern for broad area coverage.
Power & Wiring: The Forza-8 subwoofer features two 18" sections of 4-conductor, 16-gauge speaker wire attached to the bottom of the enclosure. Two sets of wires provide the stereo input connection for the sub, while two additional pairs of wires can be used to output a crossed-over signal to an optional pair of satellite speakers (sold separately). An internal 250Hz crossover provides the low signals for the sub with the mid- and high-frequencies passed to the speaker wire outputs. Direct burial wire is recommended for connecting the speaker and is sold separately. The two 8Ω input channels can handle up to 125W each (250W total).
Landscape Mounting: The Forza-8 subwoofer is constructed with weatherproof components that are resistant to rain, snow, insects, and dirt, making it ideal for open outdoor spaces. The outdoor subwoofer should be partially buried, making sure the down-firing driver is exposed.
Note: The OSD Forza-8 subwoofer is weatherproof, but is not designed to be fully submerged in water.

This is what I needed to provide some bass to my 5 1/4" driver outdoor speakers. Not overwhelming but there is a low frequency present that wasn't there before. I had no interest in blowing up my neighbors. This sub is perfect. Easy set up. Screwed it to my deck and made the connections.
