About the Tributaries Series 4 Model 4PC

Clear signal transfer for your vinyl
Clear signal transfer for your vinyl
Before he founded Tributaries in 1991, owner Joe Perfito spent 15 years working for McIntosh Laboratory, Inc. Back then, he says, the concept of designing cables based on sound scientific principles was considered extremely radical. That became his company's mission, though, and it continues to produce audio cables designed to curtail distortion, deliver reliable tonal balance, and reduce the noise floor to near zero to bring your music to life with rich detail.
Solid copper conductors for a super-clean turntable signal
These cables use ultra-pure, highly conductive, oxygen-free copper (HC-OFC) developed specifically for audio applications. Each conductor features solid (rather than stranded) gauge wires that allow for smooth, transparent, distortion-free signal transfer from your turntable.
Twin-axial design with gold-plated connectors
The Series 4PC cables use precision-twisted twin-axial design with dedicated positive and negative conductors, plus dual shielding and gold-plated, solid-brass RCA connectors. That way, you'll get a clean, neutral signal transfer that lets the music from your vinyl come through with clear, uncolored brilliance.
Because the signal coming from a turntable is much weaker than from line-level sources, turntable inputs are much more sensitive to hum, buzz, and noise. That's why this set of cables includes a robust ground wire terminated with gold-plated spade lugs for attaching to your turntable's and input's ground posts.
Tributaries cables are built to last
Every Tributaries audio cable is hand-made by skilled technicians in Orlando, Florida, using high-quality materials. Each cable must pass strict multi-level quality controls and comes with the assurance of a limited lifetime warranty.

Features
Model 4PC Phono Cable: The Tributaries Series 4 Model 4PC phono cable is comprised of a stereo audio RCA cable and ground wire. The Model 4PC phono cable features ultra-pure highly conductive oxygen free copper (HC-OFC) developed specifically for audio applications. Each HF-OFC conductor is a solid single 22 gauge wire chosen to support multiple frequencies and to prevent grainy distortion caused by stranded wire. The Model 4PC also incorporates Tributaries' Twin-Axial cable design that utilizes dedicated conductors with equal impedances for positive and negative signals. The signal conductors are then wrapped with dual-shielding to keep noise from reaching the single path. The phono cable is terminated by gold-plated, solid-brass male RCA connectors, and features a decorative woven jacket over flexible PVC. The ground wire is a flexible 20AWG stranded wire terminated with a gold-plated spade lug that will fit ground posts that are 4mm and smaller.
Note: Assembled by hand with foreign and domestic parts in Orlando Florida, USA.
