Outstanding design, combining retro and modern. Love the walnut finish, comes in black and white also. You can easily match it to you exiting décor. The sound is superb. True stereo, impressive soundstage, shaming more expensive and bigger powered speakers in the market. You can hear almost all the details you've been missing from less superior comparative speakers. I am so happy I found this speakers.
Pros: Perfectly priced, superb sound, attractive
Cons: Could use a little more volume, should have come with better speaker wires with banana connectors, no Wi-Fi

The Q Acoustics M20 HD powered speakers were easy to setup and sound wonderful. The Bluetooth connections were established immediately. If you like clean and balanced sound with an impressive soundstage, I recommend that you seriously consider this system.
Pros: Very easy setup. Very competent amplifier. Great sound. Excellent soundstage.
Cons: Not best for large rooms.

Versatile connectivity, fair price, elegant look, useful dsp toggle, and most importantly the sound. Warm and laid back that they are not shouting at you like some other speakers. Good details and sound stage. Treble, mids, and bass are balanced.
Pros: Almost everything
Cons: Very deep compared to similar sized 5 inch woofer speakers. But other than that height and width is actually compact. None removable grills. But I think they are good for spreading the sound at a wider angle.

A Keeper!

Very impressed with the overall performance of this system! Lots of versatility as a stand-alone music system, then pulling double-duty replacing my TV's soundbar. Initially a little thin in the bass region out of the box, but only took a few minutes of deep-noted music (a la "Stick Figure") to break them in -- dynamite now and no sub needed (though I do have the 3-way bass switch to maximum and the supplied foam plugs removed. That said, this is certainly not a plate-shaking pair of speakers). For the price point, surprising sound stage & frequency response at low/moderate volume levels. A few nitpicky "cons", but certainly nothing to warrant even considering anything else -- the aural performance trumps them all! Won't claim a lot of experience with powered speakers and I lack the audiophile vocabulary to characterize the sound accurately (warm? neutral? British?), but ask any speaker designer if they'd prefer to design a passive or active (amplified) pair and they'll pick Active every time (so I'm told...). Why? Because pairing. The designer gets to control the system's voicing through a much larger portion the audio path, not just the crossover/cabinet/physical drivers at the end, versus having to make the "one size fits most" compromises associated with passive speakers. As expected, this little speaker/amp combo system is nicely paired and produces an exceptionally satisfying sound presentation. Well done, I say!
Pros: - Super easy setup -- 15min box to music! - Simple, intuitive remote control (just make sure you aim it at the active speaker). - Sturdy, inert cabinetry.
Cons: - 3-position bass switch feels chintzy. - It'd be nice if supplied speaker cable terminated in banana plugs, not just tinned w/solder. - Remote's font is subdued & difficult to read in dim, movie-watching light (remote could use a little heft, too). - No physical control to select audio source; totally dependent on the remote. - Grills are not removable; it'd be nice to see the drivers!
