About the P.I.E. Auxiliary Input Adapter for Honda
You want to add an auxiliary input to the factory stereo in your Acura or Honda, but you've been told by the dealer that it'll be expensive. Nonsense! Hook up this handy adapter, and you can connect an iPod®, Dock & Play satellite radio, or another portable player — and save a bundle of cash in the process.
Just connect the HON03-AUX to your factory radio's 14-pin connector in the back — then you can configure the adapter to work with either the CD changer or satellite radio controls. You'll get a pair or left/right RCA inputs, and you won't have to give up the factory options you paid for.

P.I.E. Auxiliary Input Adapter for Honda reviews
I searched online to find a simple solution on how to install a AUX jack in my Accord. The first link I came across was to a message board gave step-by-step instructions on how to do it. So I ordered the PIE Aux adapter and a 1/8" Audio Jack from a marine/boating store (online) and went at it. The install only took about 45 minutes and then all the sudden I had a AUX jack in my Accord. For instructions on how to install it go to: honda-tech(dot)com/showthread.php?t=2793945 -- In that thread the author gives detailed step-by-step instructions on how to install this product, I found it Very helpful and it took no time to complete.
Pros: It allows you to hook up a multi-disk changer, and/or it has analog (Left/Right) audio inputs allowing you to hook up a MP3/Ipod via a 1/8" AUX jack. In my case, keeping the factory head unit in the car was important because I want to prevent people being tempted to break into my car because of a custom head unit

The item works exactly as it should, a great way to add an mp3 player to the factory radio. I did have to cut a hole in the compartment to allow the wires to pass through, but this gave it a much cleaner look.

The product works great, especially with the extra extension cable included in the package. A little improvement can be to include a piece of adherence tape inside the package, I guess no many people want to drill 4 holes in the crampy space where car audio is located.
