Overview

Our take on the iFetch Too

I love playing fetch with my energetic hound dog Ginny, but my arm gets tired long before she does. That's where iFetch comes in — it fires out tennis balls for your pet to chase, bring back, and reload. This launcher includes three balls appropriately sized for medium and large dogs.

iFetch Too keeps your pup active and happy so everyone enjoys family time.

iFetch lets you rest your throwing arm

I love playing fetch with my energetic hound dog Ginny, but my arm gets tired long before she does. That's where iFetch comes in — it fires out tennis balls for your pet to chase, bring back, and reload. This launcher includes three balls appropriately sized for medium and large dogs.

Just show your pooch how to drop one in the hopper on top, and the tireless iFetch keeps the game going. It's great for your dog's fitness routine, and leaves you free to finish chores, play with the kids, or just relax and enjoy "fetch" as a spectator sport.

Keep your pet happy and healthy

Pets — like their owners — can become sedentary. We believe pet technology can help. Use a pet fitness tracker to determine how much food and exercise your companion needs. Then use an automatic feeder and an exercise toy like the iFetch to maintain a healthy balance. Even super-busy pet parents can look forward to a happy, healthy, loving life with pets.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I sent it back for a refund. It just does not launch the ball very far or very fast. It claimed to have a 40 ft. range. Not really. Even on the furthest launch setting. The ball maybe once in a while got to 40 ft. if it got a good bounce & rolled a bit. Not a good product for bigger, active dogs.

Get something for the dog

Dennis from Dade City, FL on 5/29/2018

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

The iFetch Too, works well and uses easily replaceable tennis balls. Now if the dog decides to eat the ball instead of just fetching them, I can run down to most any store to restock. The real work is training the dog to use it. It took my dog about 3 days, 30 minutes each before she started putting the ball in the machine. She is still a bit shy about doing it but I'm sure in a few more days it will come second nature to her.

Pros: Works well and easily replaceable balls (iFetch Too)

Cons: Training the dog

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I couldn't get it to throw as far as the description stated that it would. I tried numerous times trying all the different settings. I read the directions over and over but I still couldn't get it to throw the the ball very far. Maybe I got a defective one.

Pros: It's easy to set up. It throws the ball for your dog.

Cons: Doesn't throw the ball very far.

Great product but the balls are poor quality.

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

our dog loves it. everything was accurately described. My only complaint is the balls that come with the unit. They did not last 10 minutes. We went through the first 2 balls the first day and the third the next day. We did not let our dog have them outside our fetching time. We use Chuckit balls and they hold up well.

Pros: dog loves it.

Cons: poor quality balls

Decent Ifetch Toy

Bonnie from Atlanta, GA on 6/20/2017

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

So far so good! The ifetch works great, arrived timely and now just got to teach the Dog how to use it if possible.

Pros: Easy Set up. Tosses ok.

Cons: Doesn't toss hard enough, high enough or hard enough. My Dog is a wide receiver football player and fastest Dog in the U.S. at her older age. The Ifetch also needs to toss faster rather than make the Dog wait till it registers there's a ball in the shute. Also the place where the Dog drops the ball in needs to be lower to the ground. My Dog is having trouble getting the ball lifted from Mouth to hole and she's a Medium to Large Dog.

Features

Overview: The iFetch Too is an automatic ball launcher that will keep your dog (and you) entertained for hours. It can launch standard-sized tennis balls (2.5" diameter) up to 40 feet. iFetch Too can be safely used indoors or outdoors, and is powered by AC power or the built-in rechargeable battery. It is recommended for medium to large breeds. The iFetch Too comes with three tennis balls and an AC adapter.

Variable Launch Distances: You can set the iFetch Too to launch the tennis balls at three different distances: 10 feet, 25 feet, or 40 feet. A fourth setting launches the ball at a random distance between 10 and 40 feet. A slide switch on the back of the unit lets you cycle through the settings.

Training: If your dog already loves to play fetch, using iFetch Too should be easy. If not, you should train your dog for about ten minutes, two to three times a day. Positive reinforcement (i.e. treats) may be required at first to get your pet to interact with the iFetch Too. You should teach him or her to stand behind or beside the launcher until they learn not to stand where they will be hit by the ball. It is best to supervise your pet until your dog is fully trained.

"Tuff" Balls: The "Tuff" balls that are included with the iFetch Too are felted like standard tennis balls, but are made for dogs, and are non-abrasive on their teeth. iFetch Too will also accept standard 2.5" diameter tennis balls, or any ball measuring 2.4"-2.7" in diameter. Additional "Tuff" balls are available in a 3-pack.

Power Requirements: The iFetch Too is powered by normal household current, and comes with an AC adapter with a 7.5' cord. You can also operate the unit using the built-in rechargeable battery. The battery charges in 2 to 8 hours.
