Best Dash Cam Combo
Lyndon from Upper Darby, PA on 3/6/2023
I'm so pleased with this device. The features are a step above the rest. The quality of the picture is clear and precise. It fits snugly behind the rear view mirror and delivers all that it suppose to do. Hard wired to the vehicle, the cameras provide the security and comfort required when you are either parked or driving. I would definitely recommend to customers looking for a system that does it all.
Pros: Clear picture quality (front & rear) Lane alerts Front & rear collision warnings Size of cameras Speaker
Cons: None at this time

Alpine DVR-C320R
Miguel Ramos from LOS ANGELES, CA on 1/9/2023
Very disappointed with this camera for the price it cost it's very glitchy.. Now I have to pay the installers to remove it. I currently have it connected to the Alpine ILXF 511 head unit. The picture is definitely not 1080 P. Very annoying. That parking mode is not accurate. The app they want you to connect on your phone is absolutely garbage now I understand why he only has two stars.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The price/picture quality/The app

Soso quality
Mitchell from Sarasota, FL on 12/5/2022
Not the greatest quality, I have a black view that is much better, the reason I purchased this camera is the ability to connect to my IXL 511 HALO screen, as a stand alone dash cam there are better more competitive priced cams on the market.
Pros: Plugs in to Halo ILX 511 screen and is able to be adjusted via it.
Cons: Not he greatest quality cam on the market

Alpine DVR-C320R

Installed this in our 2006 Tacoma with a INE W987HD head unit, one of the ones that offers full integration with the dash cam. Unfortunately if you are using a Maestro for steering wheel controls, you won't be able to view the camera feed from the head unit while parked, but it does send over the alerts from the driver assist features. We decided to keep the Maestro since it provides so much additional data like TPMS readings, and we can access the dash camera feed via wireless from a phone. There are other options which are cheaper if you are just looking for a dash camera, but we wanted the integration with the head unit and the addition of the driver assist alerts in our older truck which doesn't have any of those features. Overall it works well, and has a battery minder if you want to run it in parking mode, which is nice to not need a power magic or other similar device. If you have one of the compatible head units, I do recommend this dash cam.
Pros: Driver assist alerts
Cons: If you are integrating with an Alpine head unit, you won't get all the features with a Maestro in line.

Installed in Jeep JK
Crutchfield customer from Annapolis, MD on 12/19/2020
Very low profile dash cam mounted in a Jeep JK. I had to cut a small relief in the Jeep's trim plastic to get the wire routed at the top of the windshield. The camera has alerted me to a lot of speed cameras that I was not aware of in the area. The camera has great resolution. The wifi app is a little glitchy in that the phone will disconnect and if you don't reconnect within a few minutes the wifi will turn off on the dash cam, so you have to start over. I am sure that will be fixed in the next firmware update. I am not sure where to download the firmware. I also can't find where to download the Alpine Viewer for PC, being that this is a new product release I imagine they are still working on it. The lane departure guidance does not know if the lane change is intentional or not. It would be nice to somehow interface with turn signals so that the lane departure only goes off if you drift out of your lane.
Pros: Low profile, looks factory, hardwired to enable parking mode.
Cons: Wifi glitchy, some of the settings in the app are not documented so its trial and error.
