Highlight the highs

Alpine is known for quality sound and that reputation carries straight into their SPS-110TW tweeters. If your vehicle's speaker system sounds dull and unfocused, you'll be impressed by the excitement and detail these Type-S 1" tweeters will add to your music. And, if you like to turn it up loud, these silk domes will handle up to 100 watts RMS so they'll fit right into a high-performance system.

It's all in the details

These tweeters deliver rich high-frequency performance without ever turning shrill. An EQ ring in front of each tweeter helps to disperse the sound evenly, while the in-line crossover network ensures the tweeter receives only the frequencies it was designed to handle.

More natural sound

Alpine includes hardware for mounting the tweeters in the best spot in your car. Once they're installed, you'll hear all the details in your music, and all the instruments and voices will sound more defined and natural.

Installation note: You'll need a pair of our universal backstraps to install these tweeters in the factory locations.

I bought these to bring out the clarity of my music. I have some 6X9's by Alpine, some 5 1/4 from Alpine, and now these tweeters should make my car sound like a concert. I def stick with Alpine when it comes to head units, highs, and mids. [ William  Dec 04, 2015 ]

Q
Do these come with crossovers? Is there any attenuation adjustment?
[ Ryan  Feb 10, 2019 ]
6 answers
A
I purchased and installed these over a year ago but they do come with a built in barrel cross over that is inline with the wires. If I remember correctly, they are wired in a way that these crossovers can be removed. I am using them and these sound good.
[ KC  Feb 12, 2019 ]
A
No. Only the tweeters
[ Joel  Feb 11, 2019 ]
A
It comes with inline filter capacitors.
[ JOSE  Feb 10, 2019 ]
A
yes, in-line high-pass crossovers are included, and no adjustments.
[ STEVE  Feb 10, 2019 ]
A
Yes they come with crossovers but I don't believe they have attenuation adjustments. They do however work great just like they come.
[ Ernest  Feb 10, 2019 ]
A
No they don't have a crossover or adjustment.Mine are in the dash of a FIT and are still sounding great. They do have something in the line that just let the highs through......so it's working as a crossover.hope this helped

Q
I have a 2018 Wrangler with the i207-WRA Restyle head unit. Are the filters that come with the tweeters needed if I do not have a sub woofer?
[ David  Mar 11, 2018 ]
3 answers
A
Yes, those filters block bass from going to the tweeters
[ David  Mar 11, 2018 ]
A
I don't have the woofer either, ran all tweeters with the filter. Front and sound bar.

Q
My factory 2015 Accord tweeters sound awful, very attenuated high frequencies. I need an upgrade but want to fit them under the factory door grill covers so they look stock. I'm asking about Alpine 1" tweeters, but virtually all the tweeters here say "modified fit" in factory location, but does this mean you have to cut the factory grill to insert these as surface mount in that space or do they fit under the factory covers. Honda forums say stick with 3/4" speakers. Also, some covers have hidden screws under the door panel, does this apply in the case of my Accord, or will the cover pop off without removing the panel?
[ Kraz  Mar 28, 2017 ]
1 answer
A
We found the factory tweeters in the stock sail panels of the doors. The entire sail panel can be removed to access the proprietary tweeter mount from behind. Because the stock tweeter mounts to the back of the sail panel with a proprietary clip, any new tweeters will require custom modifications to the panel to fit and secure them in the same location.
