About the Alpine RUE-4190
You'll get convenient control over your Alpine in-dash stereo with this wireless remote. It works with virtually all remote-ready Alpine stereos (except the F#1 Status DVI-9990), giving you access to source selection, AM/FM tuning, and basic playback functions for disc, USB source, iPod®, and Bluetooth® audio. You can use it as an add-on to your system, or as a replacement for a lost remote. Warranty: 1 year.
Note: This remote will not control the following functions — navigation, Bluetooth phone, advanced playback control, or audio menu control.

Compatibility: The Alpine RUE-4190 IR remote control offers wireless operation of select Alpine audio, audio/video, and navigation head units. Its fully compatible with the following Alpine head units and other Alpine devices.

Note: The Alpine RUE-4190 IR remote control only offers partial control over current Alpine in-dash CD receivers, multimedia receivers, and navigation receivers. For current Alpine head units, the remote only provides Source selection, AM/FM tuning, and basic playback functions for Disc, USB, iPod, and Bluetooth. The remote does not provide Navigation, Bluetooth Phone, advanced playback source control, or System/Audio Menu control for any currently Alpine head units.
Mode Switch: The remote has a three position slide switch on the bottom to change the unit the remote is controlling; head unit, external DVD, or navigation. Push the switch to momentarily control a TV or monitor. One of three LEDs across the top of the remote indicates the position of the switch.
Light: There is a light button on the side of the remote. When pressed, most of the remote's buttons light up for approximately five seconds.
Mounting: The included cradle can be used to store the remote, or mount the remote in a position from which it will be used. You can mount the cradle with the included double sided tape or screws.
