    Heavy Duty Series

Heavy Duty: The Jensen Heavy Duty JHD1130 is an AM/FM/RBDS/WB in-dash receiver. Jensen Heavy Duty series head units are specifically designed, built, and tested to withstand even the harshest road and work conditions, such as humidity, electrostatic discharge, vibrations, and temperature fluctuations. Its entire front panel is an impervious membrane protected to prevent dirt, grime from accessing control panel through pushbutton gaps. The head unit's conformal coated PCB board and heavy-duty design specification provides maximum durability under all conditions. The following tests are performed on Jensen's Heavy Duty in-dash receivers.

    • Extreme Temperature & Humidity Test: Tested to ensure that the unit will fully function in -22° F to 158° F temperatures, as well as up to 95% relative humidity.
    • Vibration Test: Tested to withstand 4G's at 20-500Hz for 9 hours to ensure the unit can withstand the extreme environments most commonly met in heavy duty applications.
    • RF Performance Test: The RF Chamber test ensures that the stereo keeps clean signals in and the bad signal out, so you are always left with a steady signal without outside interference.
    • Electrostatic Discharge Test: The Electrostatic Discharge Test exposes the radio to up to 25 kilovolts to make sure it can withstand the most severe static build-up while you are out on the job.
    • Severe Electrical Environment Test: The Jensen Heavy Duty radio is designed to survive an alternator battery disconnection, because it is equipped with the necessary component to prevent "Load Dump" destruction.

Note: This head unit does not contain a CD-slot.

Yes I assume so, we installed ours in a 2015 Mahindra 3550 tractor cab.
    [ Katherine  Feb 14, 2019 ]
    A
Not sure we get them for our cat equipment and it fits fine in them
    [ Phil  Jan 02, 2018 ]
    A
Not 100% sure but it if it has an insert for a radio it should fit no problem we replaclaced several different brands of sterios in trucks and New Holland John Deere's with this unit with no modifications.
    [ Kenny  Jan 01, 2018 ]
    A
I can't say for certain because I'm not familiar with the mahindras. But if it has a standard size opening for a radio then it should. And if you have a test light and some basic electrical knowledge it will be fairly simple to install. Hope this helps.
    [ William  Dec 31, 2017 ]
    Q
I just purchased this radio and noticed NO blue wire for a power antenna. Is there another way to wire the power antenna or a different wiring harness I could get?
    [ A  Oct 19, 2017 ]
    1 answer
    A
You can hook it to the red accessory lead. Antenna will go up and down with key cycle as opposed to when the radio is turned on and off with its own switch but it will function just fine.
    [ Dan  Oct 20, 2017 ]
    Q
Is this a 16-pin wiring harness?
    [ A  Oct 13, 2017 ]
    2 answers
    A
It comes with a 16 pin connector but 6 of the slots are not used so there are only 10 wires a + and - for 2 front and 2 rear speakers (if u have that many) so 4 speakers total and then a ground and a 12v acc (switched) wire that's it
    [ Matthew  Oct 13, 2017 ]

Honestly I can't say for sure, since I installed it about a yr ago. But I'm wanting to say I don't believe so. What type of vehicle are you installing it in?

Try accessing the menu while the unit is turned off. That is usually how you can access system settings such as the clock.
    [ Matthew  Jan 28, 2014 ]
    A
To set the clock to display the current time, turn the vehicle ignition on and turn the radio on. Enter the system menu and adjust the clock by selecting the "CLK" menu item. Press the INFO/ENTER button (16) to view the clock set screen. Press the TUNE/SEEK (18, 19) buttons to adjust the selected digit. Press the INFO/ENTER button to move to the next digit. Press the TUNE/SEEK (18, 19) buttons to adjust the selected digit. When no adjustment is made for 15 seconds, the time will become set and normal operation will resume.
