I would say no I installed mine in a FedEx stepvan, the microphone picks up too much surrounding sound. You can hear who your talking to because it comes through the radio speakers. But the person on the other end can't hear you clearly through all the background noise.

This mic is only compatible with Jensen receivers, there is a chance that this connection could work with any stereo, but we would not be able to guarantee the compatibility. The Kenwood QAN0137-001 is compatible with most radios. I have a older Jensen VM9224 automotive stereo it has the output for having a bluetooth. And was told that a BT15 would plug & play. With this work on my Jensen VM9224? Thanks for any help here.

No on/off switch on mine. When a paired phone makes or receives a call, mic should become active.

There is no switch on the mic. It turns on by the radio when you answer a phone call when you link your cell phone via Bluetooth.

Yes it will. I bought a new tractor this year for my farm based services and the microphone provides access to hands free operation and the bonus of not missing important calls while working. Just plug it in the back of the radio and you are ready to go.
