If you drive a noisy vehicle, you'll get better performance by connecting this external microphone to your Jensen Heavy Duty receiver with Bluetooth. The included clip allows you to attach it to your visor for perfect placement, so it'll pick your voice more clearly than the built-in mic in your Jensen. The included 12-foot cord plugs into the jack on the rear of your receiver. Warranty: 60 days.

Crystal clear Easy install
Pros: Works so well
Cons: None so far
Mounted it to phone holder to get it closer to my mouth and taped the sides up to reject more background noise. Sounds perfect in logging equipment!
Pros: Heavy duty
Cons: Needs a boom to mount on for equipment!
Just like one that came with radio. Very fast shipping
Pros: Good people to deal with
GREAT SPEAKER FOR THE PRICE. SOUNDS GREAT IN MY TRUCK
I ordered the Jensen Heavy Duty JMICHFP Bluetooth Microphone (#522JMICHFP) to add to the Jensen Heavy Duty radio I recently put in my 2001 Jeep Wrangler. There's quite a bit of wind noise in my Wrangler, especially when the top is down, so I installed the mic with extra slack in the microphone wire. This allows me to pic up the mic by hand and hold it close to my mouth when I'm driving on the freeway. Of course, people on the other end of a call hear the wind noise, so I wouldn't want to have an extended conversation on the freeway, but this is a great solution for answering a call and telling someone I'll call as soon as I get off the freeway. And the mic works great on the dash mount when I'm driving in town - I could easily have an extended conversation that way. I would definitely recommend the product.
Pros: Ease of installation, long mic wire for flexibility in the installation, decent quality when you have background noise
Cons: The dash mount clip and adhesive base are just okay
Works great - extra long cord for easy installation - easy mounting - very unobtrusive in the car.
Pros: Works great - looks clean - installs easily. Totally pleased.
I installed this microphone in my tractor cab. It was an easy plug and play installation and the product arrived very quickly.
Pros: Ease of installation.
Placement is important with this device due to its size, however the ample cord length will give you plenty of routing options. When mounting it, keep in mind that the microphone is fairly directional. I mounted mine right in my instrument cluster. The audio quality is what you would expect from an aftermarket stereo speakerphone. Call participants can tell that they're on speakerphone, however they report that as long as I speak loudly and clearly enough I can be heard just fine. Note that I drive a very loud vehicle.
Pros: Long cable. Acceptable audio quality. Microphone is capable of cutting out a loud motor/exhaust.
Cons: Unit is big and can limit mounting options. Audio quality could be better. Microphone is a little too directional which resulted me in needing to mount it directly in front of me as opposed to on a pillar or visor.
Using in my Tractor, and Works Well
Pros: Well built, Plug and play.
nice and good working microfone.....
Tried adapting it to another to another system with limited success. However, it's well built and fairly priced, so I am sure that for its intended use its just fine.
Pros: Cheapest microphone crutchfield has
Compatibility: The Jensen Heavy Duty JMICHFP is an external omnidirectional microphone which can be connected to a compatible Jensen Heavy Duty head unit with built-in Bluetooth that features a 4-pin microphone input. This external microphone provides better performance in noisy environments than the integrated microphone found on the front-panel of your compatible Jensen Heavy Duty Bluetooth-enabled head unit.
Mounting Bracket: The microphone comes with a self-adhesive bracket and sun-visor clip. Both brackets allow the microphone to swivel left-to-right and rotate up-or-down.

Replace broken micraphone [ RANDY Jul 28, 2018 ]
The unit did not come with the radio and had to be bought additional. I really think that if the radio is compatible and no more than the mic cost should come with radio so it can be installed all at one time. [ Nikki Jul 10, 2018 ]
Needed it for the radio since it didn't come with one, but also to help my dad out when he is constantly taking phone calls in the field. [ Julie May 02, 2018 ]

Radio description does not tell you that you need a mic to use the blue tooth in your phone to talk. I assumed it was built in or in the package. Not so, it is extra an delayed my installation as it needs to be plugged into the rear of the radio. [ Suzanne Jul 19, 2017 ]
