Listen to your iPod and keep it charged using your Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep factory stereo. Just connect Peripheral's iPAC-CHY interface to the back of your factory stereo via the included cable, then plug in your iPod and go. The interface lets you control the music with your radio buttons — even with your steering wheel controls if you have them.

If you prefer, you can use the iPod's Click Wheel instead of the radio buttons. You won't have to worry about sound quality in either case — the wired connection ensures the best possible fidelity from your music. The iPod interface will even charge your iPod while it's plugged in. This adapter kit works with all dockable iPods, but you'll need an optional adapter to charge newer iPods.

Peripheral also includes a stereo RCA auxiliary input adapter cable, so you can add another source like a Dock & Play satellite radio or another brand of MP3 player. The auxiliary input takes the place of the iPod connector cable, so only one can be hooked up at once. Warranty: 1 year.

Overview: The PAC iPAC-CHY iPod/Auxiliary input interface allows direct connection of select iPods to select 2005-up Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles with factory radio models REC, RAW, and RAK (with or without Satellite Radio). iPod Control: The iPAC-CHY allows you to control basic playback functions such as Track-Forward/Track-Backward and Next-Playlist from your Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep factory radio. The iPAC-CHY will retain iPod click-wheel/touch-screen control functionality.

Note: The iPAC-CHY does not offer iPod text through your factory radio.

Auxiliary Input: The iPAC-CHY features a stereo RCA auxiliary input (with adjustable input gain) for connecting a external portable audio source.

Installation: The iPAC-CHY installs in between your vehicle's factory radio and satellite radio harnesses and your vehicle's factory radio. The iPAC-CHY provides a proprietary iPod dock connector to connect your iPod and a stereo RCA input to connect another portable audio device.
