Everything Works Perfectly
Greg from Port Matilda, Pa. on 3/28/2023
I replaced a Magnadyne M3 unit in the motorhome I bought. Since I have left, right blind spot cameras, and a backup this was my only solution. My previous unit had a 13 din camera plug which I had to separate into three 5 din plugs. Once this unit was wired according to the instructions everything worked perfectly. Now the left and right cameras operator with the turn signals and the back camera is activated with reverse.

A little pricey..
Using this as a stand alone unit for left and right turn signal cameras I installed. Wiring diagram was straight forward no problems. I do like you can use a negative pulse also . There is a slight delay after the turn signal is off it keeps showing but to me that acceptable. I did try a cheaper one first from Amazon but It had noise in one of the inputs.. this one had none . Solid picture..
Pros: Great stand alone unit . It is a small unit..
Cons: Just $$$$..

Not a fan at the moment

This is the second one I have tried, it outputs black and white video from my HD Kenwood Cams. I was able to trigger cameras with it but I didn't see a way to correct the color. Considering the time it takes to install and test I don't think it's worth a third attempt. I learned my Maestro RR2 does the same thing as far as camera switching so I'm configuring that now. The way my stereo is set up 4 inputs only display manual switching options through the radio if they're connected. There are 4 ins and one out with the PAC set up, so the output would need to go to the backup cam input. Any video triggered and displayed from the Pac is shown on the screen but then I lose the ability to change it from the radio, as well as the camera interruption and other camera settings that would be available if all four inputs are connected. It would be better in my opinion if the Pac had 4 ins and 4 outs & displayed in color for all cameras. (If the color issue is a PAC problem)
Pros: You can trigger cameras from analog connections.
Cons: It's not an easy straightforward install. Not easy to test.

Video Switcher for your RV
Crutchfield customer from Oklahoma City, OK on 12/13/2021
This product is great. It solved my problem on my nexus RV upgrade where i had 3 camera (left, right and rear) input to a Sony receiver with one camera input. The PAC VS41 has a trigger out to the radio so that the active input that is being triggered gets displayed. There was no problems with my side cameras being triggered by the flasher (pulsed) input voltage. Do not connect or ground the (-) negative trigger inputs. I did that and had to call Crutchfield tech support (the best) which solved the issue for me. Now my RV has a bluetooth receiver and the cameras all work as desired. Thanks Crutchfield for amazing tech support both in recommending this product and then in resolving my issue when i grounded the negative trigger wires (don't do that). I added an inline 1A Fuse to the PAC VS41 input but that's me. Very happy with this product.
Pros: Works as desired -- provides steady video out even with pulsed inputs
Cons: none so far
