Good speaker. Check your fitment first.

The speaker itself is amazing. The fact that Crutchfield said it would fit in my 96 chevy rear pillar with supplied adapters was completely wrong. Doesnt even come close to fitting without making some serious modification to the truck body.
Pros: Awesome speaker.
Cons: Wouldn't even come close to fitting even though Crutchfield said it would

Do not buy
Crutchfield customer from Sperry, OK on 4/17/2020
Sound worse than factory. Waste of money.
Pros: At least they where on sale.
Cons: Horrible sound. 10 year old factory speakers have more volume and less distortion. Had to modify to even fit so not able to return. First time I have ever purchased Rockford Fosgate and NEVER again!

These speakers really woke up my truck. I never thought I would ever experience decent sound from the rear of my 1998 Silverado extended cab, but I did. Everyone is right. Factory installed OEM speakers are the cheapest excuse the automobile manufactures use as an attempt to reproduce sound. These Rockfords are great speakers because the highs are there and they will reproduce the low Freq's we enjoy.

Second Pair
Vance from California on 12/16/2014
This is my second set of these speakers. They are going into a 1990 VW Westfalia. These are mounted in the front doors.. Excellent speakers. The last ones lasted around 8-9 years. Applying baffles to enhance the sound and protect from water/moisture in the doors.
