Amazing Punch and Incredible Fullness

This subwoofer has an incredible punch. I have this set up in a 2020 Hyundai Accent and after reading other reviews, I was expecting this to add fullness to the music and not have much of a kick. I'm not sure what is different between my setup and the reviews, but this sub on about 1/4 power has my mirror shaking to the point that I cannot make out details of anything in it. The bass kick is phenomenal and the music is so much more full. I would definitely recommend this sub to everyone.

Love this powered subwoofer. It was exactly what my system needed. Very easy to install and use. Great sound and plenty of bass to hear and feel but not too much where you'll disturb the neighbors

Got this for my Ford Transit 350xlt medium roof passenger van. Fits under the 3rd row seat nicely. I swapped out all the speakers and the factory radio but it still didn't have any kick. The RF Punch P300-10 is perfect. Plenty of bass that fills the van and makes the sound quality so much better.
Pros: Great bass sound and worth every penny. Got the outlet, "scratch and dent" to save a few dollars and when it arrived I couldn't find any "scratch or dent" on it. It looked brand new and sounds great.
Cons: Minor Con - Installation instructions that came with it wasn't that clear bc of my after market stereo. Didn't know which wires to install where bc I've never done this before but called Crutchfield and they were very helpful as always.

Installed the RF P300-10 in my gf's 2013 Honda Civic LX sedan. I've installed a few sound systems but this was my first time installing a powered sub and it was the easiest install ever. Power wire, ground wire, and then tapped right into the rear speaker and done! Didn't have to mess with the back of the head unit or wire up an amp or anything else. Took me 10 mins to wire it up. The bass is great for a 10" sub. Has just enough bass for my gf since she doesn't like crazy bass. Can't go wrong with Rockford Fosgate.

Simply awesome. It has been sometime since I had a aftermarket sub in one of my vehicles. My 2014 Audi A6 w/Bose was lacking some quality bass. Just installed this sub and wow! I'm glad I didn't go with the 12. This is more than enough and helped make my Bose system come alive. Super easy to install in my A6. I have the bass boost and gains turned almost all the way down.

Awh man, blew my mind by how tight and punchy it feels. This was my very first Powered Sub that I installed in my coupe. Added so much texture and color to my stock speakers. Was able to balance it really well and it made me love driving my car even more. Cant wait when my speakers come in and I change out the stock speakers.

Adds both subtly and power to my 2015 Camry. The sound is clean and crisp. Very convenient to remove if I need the space. I have it matched with a Kicker Key pushing 50 watts to Kenwood Component 6x9s in the front and Kicker 3-way coax on the rear deck. Everything blends. Bass knob is responsive and helps maintain the balance each song requires. I only wish the knob was easier flush mount. Still working that out.

After reading all the reviews on different forums after ordering this I was worried it was not going to be enough. People were complaining it was not loud at all. This is plenty! I installed in the trunk of a Camry and it is way more than I need! I listen to country and rock and it really complements the music well at around 40%. The install was easy and not needing the remote wire was nice! Deff would buy again

2019 Cr-v Touring with Honda's upgraded system. Kept stock head unit and amp, Morel speakers. This sub has plenty of bass , no complaints there, it's just the quality of bass. Tried all combinations of settings and finally settled for one. It just seems like you can't get a nice tight bass output that still gets loud enough. Boomy and loud yes, just not real tight. Maybe I should have used 8 inch version.

Super easy install, and very clean and durable design/packaging. I am impressed at the improvement simply adding this sub to my stock stereo (2006 Acura TL) improved the overall sound. Obviously, this is not a competition/high end sub, but if you are looking to add some thump, without breaking the bank, this is a good option. This product also allows you to upgrade your system in phases, because you can add it to any system - even a bone stock factory one. This was a good option for me, since I wasn't in the mood to shell out over a grand to upgrade everything all at once. Now, I can do the head unit, amp and speakers in phases as my budget permits.
Pros: Durable, compact, all-included kit, plug and play (more or less) ability, good instructions, good value.
Cons: Negatives are apparent only if you compare this to a more expensive sub and/or custom enclosure. Is it ground pounding, perfectly clear and tight bass? No. But, that is not what it is designed for.

I purchased this unit at an "open box" outlet discount. It looks practically brand new and functions perfectly. The P300-10 added some much needed low end to an aftermarket Alpine system I installed in the trunk of my 2013 Mazda 3. With the addition of the Rockford-Fosgate RKF8i wiring kit, installation was easy with the help of a couple YouTube videos with advice on passing the power cable through the car's firewall. The sound is big for such a small box. I wasn't looking for anything overpowering, just some solid bass. This fits the bill, and then some. I'm very pleased with the purchase and have been ordering stuff from Crutchfield since the early 90's with never a problem.

This unit fit perfectly on a right side shelf in the trunk of my beloved 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis. The RF Punch P300-10 delivers 300 watts of clean, clear, crisp and powerful Bass. Initially I was skeptical of the included velcro installation strips but they actually hold the unit firm and motionless while allowing for easy access to controls. To test my new unit I tuned my satellite radio to a 'new rap' station as most new rap songs contain amazing rang of sub woofer bass frequencies. The sound was amazing! No static, no strain just powerful sweet sound. The P300-10 was well worth the price paid. This review comes from a very discriminating individual when it comes to quality. Im overjoyed with my purchase of this product.

Really improved the sound in a 97 blazer 2 door. I need to adjust it some more because on my radio the Bluetooth is much different from fm radio, so under regular radio the gain is set too high.

Compact size. Easy to install since it is an all-in-one subwoofer. Seems pretty rugged and solid. Gives a good boost to the low end. Don't forget to get a long length of RCA cables.

Great Sub That Actually Goes Boom Quite Well

I connected this sub to my 2017 Ford Explorer with the sony system. I tapped into the factory sub wires using the Kicker LOC. There are four wires going to the factory sub so it works perfectly. I used T-Taps to make this even easier. Make sure to buy T Taps!! Any auto parts store should have them. In the event that my LOC fails, I can just use the high level inputs for sound. Piece of cake. The hardest part of installing a sub (for me) is running the power wire. I ended up using the firewall hole on the passenger side behind the glove box. It's a pain but do it. Way better than other suggestions I see out there. The sub is all hooked up and sounds awesome. It's actually much louder than I expected. I ended up leaving the factory sub connected as well so now I can say I have two subs. lol. For such a small package, I'm very impressed. My last vehicle (2015 silverado) had two 10" subs under the rear seats and while this isn't that big of a system, it sounds great and vibrates the review mirror quite nicely. That is with the gain on the remote set to minimum. I am very happy with this purchase and I'm sure you will be as well! For reference, I listen to a pretty wide variety of music and this sub loves all of it.

I decided to go with this instead of a Mono Amp and subs. Why? Cost, install, and I've had nothing but a great experience with Rock Fos in the past. If you're looking for an added feel to your music, this is for you.
Pros: Run power/ground, plug and play. Bass Boost controller, turn it up or down without disturbing the rest of the speakers. This speaker adds the 'Punch' you want to hear with your music. It's not car rattling, but enough to feel.
Cons: Tough to 'mount' (Jeep Wrangler), but that's more of a case by case issue. In a truck, this thing would be perfect!

This thing is awesome! I drive a convertible and I have limited trunk space and this things certainly is more than I expected. I wasn't looking to blow my doors off- but turned all the way up this thing comes pretty close. It's definitely an excellent value and easy to install.

I installed this in the back of a 2006 Ford Explorer. It took a bit to get the "bass boost" and crossover set to where I liked it but it is a pretty good sub. I was not looking to rattle any metal just fill in the bottom end of the spectrum. Having said that this will get up and go when I want it to (listening to modern R&B for example). Love the outboard level control. Could not live without it. It also helps that I can fold the back seat down and this is essentially in the same "room" with me. Not locked in a separate trunk..

I bought this to put in the back of son's Jeep inside the secure enclosure... it's a perfect fit. The angle on back even matches angle of enclosure. I purchased the amp wiring kit recommended by Crutchfield and it was perfect. Used RCA cables for sound and used the kit for the rest. Took a little time to run all the wiring but overall an easy install. The included bass knob helps fine tune it based on music choice. Very happy with this product and with the help of the advisors. Ive recently added this 10" sub to my pioneer premier system and believe me it Hits pretty hard. Add this to your already existing system and you will not be dissatisfied. It takes very little space in your trunk

2019 GMC Acadia. It fits nicely in the back of the vehicle and the velcro holds it in place very well. It puts out quite a bit of bass for the price and size. Love the quick disconnects in case it needs to be removed to put larger items in the vehicle.

Installed this in a 95 Honda Prelude to address the lack of bass from the 6-speakers. The Prelude, like many mid 90s Hondas, relied on shallow speakers for the sound system. I replaced mine with 6.5" Infinity Reference speakers which are good, but cannot deliver much bass. To be honest I was somewhat intimated by the prospect of trying to wire in amplifiers and a sub woofer, with forum posts talking about the need to match input and output levels and "balance" the system. The Prelude's trunk is also small. I didn't want to sacrifice more space than absolutely necessary. The Rockford Fosgate solution offered both amp and sub woofer in a compact single unit that only required me to wire it in, and sits neatly at the back of the trunk leaving most of the space for any cargo I might need to carry. The unit ships with heavy duty velcro strips that you apply to the sub woofer and your vehicle's trunk floor. I was skeptical this would be enough but despite throwing the 'Lude into a few corners the subwoofer has remained anchored in place. This approach also allows the unit to be quickly removed if you need the trunk space back. My only criticism, and it is minor, is that unit's remote control, a rotary controller that allows you to adjust the subwoofer, cannot easily be adapted to be installed in a typical switch blank plate. If the remote housing was smaller, and the rotary control knob was easily removable, it would be simpler to install in a

Just got this Rockford Fosgate Punch P300T installed into my 2019 Chevy Traverse which came with the basic "Non Bose" system. With the help from Crutchfield emplyee "Shawni" I tapped into the rear door speakers (both sides) for the subwoofer's signal. The subwoofer sound great and really makes the factory system sound even better. Once again, thank you Crutchfield. By the way, this 10" has quite the bump

I purchased this sub to enhance the sound quality and frequency response of a factory premium audio system in a 2005 Dodge Magnum. Based on the reviews I read, other people were saying not to expect too tons from it. After purchasing and installing it, it became clear that people had much higher expectations than I did. It performed more than admirably for my needs. It even gets my mirrors to vibrate pretty well. Bottom line, this product was easy to install and a joy to listen too. Definitely worth the money and less hassle of not having to buy a separate sub and amp.

I used to compete in car sound many years ago with an all Rockford Fosgate system. I am very familiar with the brand. I also won many times with it. I am very happy with this compact unit. The bass hits pretty hard with any type of music. The bass knob is great because you get to decide how much of that bass you want to feel. If you want bass but dont want to deal with separate components or complicated installation, buy this.

WOW! Completely changed the sound dynamic of our son's vehicle. Wasn't sure whether I needed to upgrade ALL speakers or just the sub and the sub gives us more than we expected. This package is awesome for the price. I did not think it hit that hard in my size car (Hyundai Sonata), but it does. I would have given this product 5 stars, but the mounting hardware is only a wide strip of velcro. Rockford could have incorporated some recessed hooks or "u" bolts. The enclosure will actually fit on the back of the passenger's rear seat (folds up and down), but the velcro will not hold the box securely to the seat back. Ease of connections and the bonus "big sound" from a 10" subwoofer are definitely worth 5 stars.

WOW!! This sub sounds as good as my one in my house. Good grief... I wasn't expecting anything close to the low frequency and solid bass this added to my system. Don't be fooled by the low price tag because this sub was worth every penny. I mounted it between my front seats as well as the remote to the sub where I could adjust the bass really easily. (I have a handicap accessible minivan) I am 110% happy with my purchase!

I recently purchased a used 2010 Corolla S and the stock sound system was HORRIBLE. Added a Pioneer MVH-210EX head unit to go along with this powerd sub, and all I can say is "wow" - it made all the difference. I've had aftermarket stereo systems with 2x12's in my past younger days, but now in my mid-30's- I simply don't need that much bass. Just want something to fill out and improve the quality of sound. Now thanks to this powered sub I'm rockin'!

This sub rocks! If you want great sound without taking out a loan or spending hours matching a woofer to sub box to an amp, this is for you! Great sound for the size and price. This really is an all in one package! I was shocked/surprised at how hard this box hits. I think I am getting old as I don't even come close to turning this thing up to is full power. If you are tight on space/power this sub is great. I put this in my Prius and I still have plenty of space in the trunk.

My son wanted that extra sound and this was the perfect fit in every aspect. The speaker puts out awesome bass, he loves that it is adjustable. The installation was very easy, especially with the built-in amp. Customer service was amazing in making sure we had everything we needed to make the project happen. The speaker box does not take up very much space at all and I would imagine would work in just about any vehicle. Very good price compared to other options. This little thing bumps! It's just what I was looking for to replace a big box with two 10's that was taking up way too much space in the trunk. Plenty of power and it hits just about as hard. Great sound pretty simple hookup.

This was the perfect addition to my wife's Audi A4.. I recently purchased a Pioneer N2440 receiver, and 4 Kicker 6 1/2" speakers from Crutchfield for her car. The sound was great, but it needed just a bit more "punch". This Fosgate sub was absolutely the ticket !! Easy install in the tight confines of her trunk. The remote adjust knob allows her to dial in the perfect amount of thump. She is thrilled with her new system !! And you know the saying; "happy wife happy life" !!! Now I need to install a similar system in my truck !!

Wow! I put this in my 1996 Dodge ram 1500 regular cab along with MTX Terminator 6x9's in the front and 5 1/4's in the back. This made my truck sound perfect, it sounds great and is way louder than expected I haven't even turned rhe bass knob past halfway and it vibrates the mirrors but there is no rattling noise inside the cab.

UPDATE I previously reviewed this sub over a year ago and gave it 5-Stars back then. That review was a reflection of the speaker and how it preforms as well as Crutchfield and how they support their customers so well. This review is all about Rockford, the company... We are selling the car that the sub is installed (Toyota 4Runner). My son wants to keep the sub and move it into his new ride after we sell the 4Runner. So, I called Rockford and with no questions asked they offered to send out a complete installation kit including the remote volume controller, at no charge!!! This is something I've come to almost expect from Crutchfield, but now Rockford!!! So, if you are interested in buying this amazing subwoofer, please do it with absolute confidence in the short AND long term. Enjoy it!

One of the best subwoofers you can buy. It increases your sound quality by a ton. I would recommend getting a aftermarket head unit so you can fine tune your audio. This is also nice if your looking for simple installation. Much easier to install then a separate woofer and amp. I also want to add, I was worried about it not being a ported box. That does not hinder its ability at all.

Easy installation, I bought this sub to fill out the factory stereo. I have it tuned to about 85 to 90 Hz with my door speakers, Talk about a real clean sound and no rattling the car panels at all. just clear clean bass. Since its a sealed box the bass is super tight and accurate. YOU cant go wrong with this sub-woofer. its a must buy; especially for the price. Check out the pic no wires, no mess just a beautiful box!

Great bass at a great value. I installed this in the trunk of a 1956 Thunderbird and the bottom end it produces is plenty for this small car. The box can be removed quickly by unplugging the disconnect if the space is needed. It includes a remote gain knob which I attached under the dash to fine tune on the fly. The install is easy and the quality of the unit exceeded my expectations so it gets 5 stars. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality sub at a great price.

Fantastic powered sub. I previously owned two Infinity Bass Link, that we're good while they lasted. First one failed at 11 months, inside the warranty. The second at 13 months, just outside the warranty. I love the RF sub, it is solid and is well built. I would not hesitate to recommend it, in fact I already have!

Excellent value! Installed in my commuter civic and it sounds awesome! Plays plenty low and much louder than I expected! Very simple install, small overall size and seems to be well built, the plug-in power/ground/remote wire connector is very nice too, makes wiring very easy! I almost bought the 12" version because I was worried the 10" might not cut it, being in the trunk, 10" was definitely the right choice and much more than adequate! Certainly surprised with this little unit!
Pros: Small size, easy to install, excellent sound and more than adequate! Grill is a nice touch too, looks nice and protects speaker.
Cons: Box covering is slick but the included Velcro strips good to the trunk carpeting very nice.

I got this to add some lacking bass punch in my new Chevy Cruze. The stock system sounded decent, but not full the way I like it. It fit beautifully in a small space and the "amp in a box" helped out quite a bit. I look forward to driving... anywhere! Even my little 10" single subwoofer kicks it out and provides the vibes, bass tones and air movement that was missing in the stock stereo. I recommend this subwoofer package wholeheartedly!

I bought this set up because I didn't have room for an amp and needed an easy to remove sub. The product is fantastic, tough box, easy to use, and is exactly what you would expect. In hindsight, I wish I went with a 12 or a ported box, the sound is muffled at times.

Ran into a few minor installation issues (my lack of experience, not anything product related), but a few phone calls later I had this looking and working like it had been a professional install job! Nothing but good things to say about the whole experience....from my initial call in to determine what would be the best option for what I was looking for (shout out to Ziggy on this!), to delivery times even over the holidays, to the final tech help to get everything finished....it's been a real pleasure and I look forward to coming back for my next project!

So far very pleased. Added to existing Bose system. Nice to have built-in amp versus the trouble of installing an amp too. Very nice finish? Even came with large Velcro strips.

2003 Jeep Liberty
Very impressed for an "all in one" type bass solution. Got this as a present for my boys Jeep Liberty, once installed and tuned, it shakes the whole jeep. It definitely put a big smile on his face! Too many years ago when I was his age I used to run a pair of MTX 12's driven by a Coustic amp. This single 10" Rockford Fosgate speaker puts out more bass than my pair of 12s ever did! Now I want one for my own vehicle. :) Its definitely not a pro or show competition solution, but for the average person this will exceed their expectations. Money well spent!
Pros: Nice looking finish, amazing amount of bass out of such a small box. Love that this unit has a grill to protect the speaker.
Cons: Wish it had eyelet holes or some way to tie it down without having to result to a DIY solution.

After upgrading the sound system in my 2007 Honda Accord I was pleased with the high and mid range, but something was definitely missing in the bass end of the spectrum. After weighing my options and budget I carefully considered the Rockford Fosgate Punch series powered 12 inch self contained sub unit. It just made sense to go with a known and trusted name that offered the perfect balance of a powerful 300 watt amp matched with a sealed enclosure and a 12 inch high output speaker. They really took the guesswork out of the matching all of the components and offered it in a space saving unit. The sub fitted neatly in the trunk taking up minimal space and giving maximum bass. The unit also has a handy adjustment knob that mounts in the interior to adjust bass levels. It was easy to install and sounds great.

This sub has good sound. It's also got a small footprint making it easy to place. It's quick disconnect tabs mean that if I need that third row seat, I can disconnect the sub in 10 seconds and be done. I will tell those people in the third row they're taking away from my driving experience though. Pioneer head unit and pioneer speakers, I couldn't be happier. If you're looking to thump at the light, it's just loud enough to hear outside the car with the windows up (at half bass level).
Pros: Nice sound, easy to install, small footprint.
Cons: Crutchfield's price for this item is higher than every other retailer.

Great bottom end
This review is similar to the RF 50 watt amp I left. This 10" sub really cooks. Coupled with the JVC head unit, 4 JVC speakers and Rockford 50 watt amp that I just added from Crutchfield, my Mustang is rockin' down the highway. The sound all these components generate really puts a smile on my face. I could write a book on the install, which has nothing at all to do with the equipment I selected. Main problem is working in an '07 Mustang. It's a lot like working in a phone booth. You basically have to disassemble your entire interior if you want to do it right, running wires properly and most importantly, unseen. (even had to pull the right front wheel and remove an inner fender panel to run the power cable) And of course it wasn't without calling the tech guys at CF (I believe it was 5 times) but I couldn't have done it without their help. A HUGE shout out to Wes and TJ (I hope I have the initials correct) because both were extremely helpful with a lot of issues I was creating on myself. Being an old guy still stuck in the '60's, I haven't kept up with technology like I should, and it's been a challenge trying to keep pace. Also want to thank Dolly for all her help too, along with a couple others in tech that were there when I needed them. All in all, a very pleasant experience. My first dealings with CF was back in 1988 and they were just as good back then as they are today. Rock ON

This is a very nice package that sounds great and is very easy to install and set up. I placed this in the trunk of my 2017 Mustang to increase the lower bass notes for my stock radio and it does a great job.
Pros: Detachable wiring harness if you need to remove it for extra storage space in your trunk or hatch .

Tight, Musical, Loud, Excellent Bass in a slick package

I installed the P300-10 in my boat, and mounted it below the helm/wheel, raised up on PTFE (waterproof) blocks to keep it away from the floor and protected from water and moisture. Important Note if you are considering doing the same: It is not waterproof. However, where I have it installed it should give me years of trouble-free service. After a full season last summer of boating, it performed flawlessly, and I am still amazed at how tight and loud this sub plays. Boats and open air areas are really challenging to deliver effective bass, and I was not expecting much from a 10" in a sealed enclosure. But it's simply amazing. I was looking for a "musical" sub, that delivered tight bass and this sub delivers. My system consists of a Sony marine head unit, a Sony 600w 4 channel amp powering 8 in-boat speakers (Infinity 6.5" 2 ways with high-pass filter enabled), and this sub. It all works great together, extremely pleased!

I had a Kenwood 8" powered sub in my Jeep Wrangler before this and it was more than double the bass and sound. Not only was I surprised but a little shocked that much bass was hitting in that size box. I'd be more than happy to buy this item again for any vehicle. I was super easy to setup and get going.

Exactly what I was looking for. Big bass to supplement a factor system. Clear, concise and crisp bass that you can feel in your car. It is easy to disconnect when you need the extra space in your trunk. Sturdy construction and excellent sound. The bass remote is helpful to manage the bass depending on the song/type of music. definitely recommend this to anyone who wants an affordable and simple solution to more bass.

The product is very simple to install and delivers exactly what you need to beef up a factory sound system. It fits perfectly in the trunk of 2010-2015 Camaro, almost like it was made to fit under the back deck. Turns on when it gets a signal from the rear speakers. Adjustable gain control routes to the front seat. The first unit I received was defective, it had me frustrated thinking I had a bad ground. After receiving the second unit I plugged it into my previous wiring and it worked great.,

2016 Honda Accord LX install. EASY!

Installed this subwoofer in my 2016 Honda Accord LX. The bass in the stock system was terrible so I added two Rockford Fosgate X3 speakers in front which helped the bass very little. So, I went ahead and purchased this sub from Crutchfield. I considered the music I listen to (rock, classic rock, metal, alternative rock) so I figured I wanted something that would not impact my wallet too much, easy to install, and offers a tight bass note for the drum and guitar. I believe that this 10" non-ported sub has done just that. This sub is very easy to install and take out of your vehicle whenever you need to due to the quick harness it comes with. I also love that it comes with a remote to control the volume instead of pulling over, opening the truck, and crawling in to adjust the gain. I did not give the speakers 5 stars because I believe that there should be more options for adjusting the bass boost. Overall, I am very happy with the price, ease of install, and overall sound quality. ***** This vehicle is equipped with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) which is two microphones in the headliner that "hear" low end noise coming from the engine, road, etc. and communicate to a computer and the speakers. The computer and speakers then produce a sound that counteracts the road noise or engine noise. This system REALLY gets in the way with installing the subs. You MUST disable or cut the wires prior to install. It took me two weeks to figure this out.
Pros: Great price, good sounds quality, and easy to use and install.
Cons: Not enough options for adjusting the bass.

Excellent subwoofer to add to my factory Harmon Kardon system in my BMW. Really gives it the depth of sound that I was looking for and makes the whole system sound way better. Definitely worth the price and is a great way to add deeper sound to any stereo. Was going to buy a JL Audi sub but the price on this was way better and I cant imagine the other one would sound any better than this RF Punch subwoofer.

I don't usually review but I had to. This sub is great for what it is. I installed jbl speakers in the front and rear of my 2008 civic and put this in the trunk. My system sounds great and clean. The sub packs enough power for me although I may upgrade to the 12. I've had it about 3 weeks with no problems. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a sub but doesn't want to go all out with amp, box and sub. Good price and happy with the quality. Nice job Rockford.

Fantastic thump, also it gives you that ported sound base so it gives you very low base feel. This will appeal to a broad range of listeners. The size is excellent and the materials used by Rockford are of high quality. I highly recommend this to any genres listeners.

Great low end. More than enough for my 2015 Tacoma Access cab. I didn't use the built in LOC and bought my own. I also used the remote wire to a fuse instead of the audio sensor. Installed to my factory stereo with no issues this way.

This sub sounds amazing, I recently purchased a 2017 mazda 3 hatchback, I originally put a low profile sound ordinance 8" powered sub wich did add some bass but wanted a little more. I purchased the Rockford Punch p300 wow night and day difference and fits perfect! I'd highly recommend the P300! And just a side note I love Crutchfield, always outstanding service and support! Bravo

Excellent value and really great sound. Having a subwoofer completely changes how you listen to music in your car. The sub enables you to feel the music as much as hear it. This particular sub allows you to dial up and down how much bass you "feel". That changes depending on the song and your mood. Very cool. Crutchfield explained everything extremely well and the installation process what flat out fun! I really enjoyed the project.

Perfect Punch

I just had this baby installed today.. I was looking for that little depth in my music and at the same time not to bother the car next to me.. Anyways, this P300-10 is exactly wan my 2015 Hyundai Elantra has been missing all this time.. I have the bass control cranked all the way down next to the minimum and it still gives that lil punch needed to enjoy any music. This may not be enough power for some customers but it is exactly what I was looking for..
Pros: Size is great.. fits in perfect in my trunk.. Great punch for my factory head unit

Installed in 1997 Chevy 3/4 Ton Truck. Wow! This has the tight bass and power required for any vehicle. Don't waste the time buying individual amp, crossover and high pass filters when you can get a an engineered Rockford Fosgate unit. No popping during initial power-on, no static audio introduced from power source. Recommend using the Rockford Fosgate Amp Kit and RCA cables to avoid unnecessary noise and static.
Pros: - Mountable and adjustable gain switch for sub-woofer output - RCA plug or speaker plug lo or hi level woofer input - Nice low, blue light glow from speaker input area

Wow is all i have to say this along with my Clarion NX604 my Town Car sounds great .Ive even turned heads and was told my car sounds nice not too loud and no bass rattles but when i pull up beside other cars i get a lot of knods.And the folks at Crutchfield i cant thank you enough so folks dont sleep on the Punch P300-10 i almost did its a great choice.

This is a great sounding bass and amp combo. I was replacing a previously installed 8" powered sub (Blaupunkt) in my Landcruiser, the 8" somehow lacked the punchiness and the lower end bass. I got a great deal on a scratch and dent item. This sub exceeded my expectations! it does not take a lot of space and it has the option of being unplugged and removed if space is needed. I makes may stock system sound awesome. Paired with a kenwood receiver, just a few tuning touches on the LPF and HPF on the receiver plus the gain and boost controls on the sub made it sound great. I also like that, you don't hear any "pops" when you turn it on or off, my previous speaker had this annoying problem. Overall, recommended for a simple sub setup that sounds punchy not muddy.

I bought to complete my system in my Honda crv. I wanted something simple and easy to install myself. This Rockford hits in my crv. I listen to all kinds of music punk rock, country, rap, rock n roll etc... I like that it came with a bass control knob so I can adjust it on the fly. I recommend this if you want something to round out your system.

Plenty of bottom for use in the trunk. Brings a 2000 Crown Victoria up to expected standards for a working musician. Completes an Alpine system with solid bottom - this combo will do the job unless you want to move the car next to you at the stop light... Size works great for the crown vic - it dissapears under the back deck next to the spare. Thanks crutchfield for measuring it ahead of time.
Pros: Velcro to trunk carpet and you are done. Set up is as easy as any bass add on. Run the cables and turn it on. Excellent phone help from Crutchfield - and no waiting.

Fixed my (lack of) bass problem

I recently bought a Lexus ES350; despite loving the car, I was disappointed by the factory system. I learned this to be a common complaint, among other owners too. Also, I learned that there are now easy/low cost upgrade paths for the amp or speakers without replacing the whole thing with the Mark Levinson upgrade, which was out of my budget. I called Crutchfied; the sales rep recommended the Rockford Fosgate Punch P300-10. To add some power to the low-end and smooth out the bass. A week into it, I have to say that this was the perfect fix. I adjusted the system eq, and now it sounds much better--tight, punchy bass with authority. Not boomy/distorted. Overall, really please with my purchase.
Pros: Easy way to add 300w of power, right where it's needed--on the bottom! I like that it can be easily removed/relocated to another vehicle with the quick release plugs...makes it easier when returning leased car.
Cons: Takes up a bit of space in the trunk. I can live with it though; if necessary I can remove it if I need extra trunk space, temporarily.

This powered sub hits just as hard as everyone else's dual 10's or 12's, who end up never using their full power and this is 1/3 the price. You can also remove the sub from ur trunk when're u want. It's not a permanent enclosure. So if u need to put stuff in ur trunk just h plug the power cable. It's amazing.

I'm in the audio business (home audio), and I love this sub. Boomy, loose, muddy bass, is inexpensive and gives me a headache. Clean, tight, fast bass is hard to achieve. The Punch 300-10 has more power and output than I'll ever need, in a compact, manageable size. More importantly, it delivers snappy, powerful bass with excellent frequency extension. Finally, it fits neatly behind the passenger seat of my Ford-F150. Looks like it was custom designed for that spot.

If you want a complete sound from the bottom to top you must have a Sub. Rockford Fosgate knows how to complete your Audio system with the 10 inch Sub P300-10. Beautiful case and nice finish that fits well in the trunk of my Nissan Sentra. Adds so much to my music experience. Crutchfield does it best in getting the job done to the highest of your expectations.
Pros: Full sound, fills out the void of bass sound with only regular front and rear mounted speakers. Space saver with removable cable if need temporary removal to use trunk for luggage. Nice cabinet for 10 in speaker.

I can not believe how much difference adding this 10 inch sub makes. Sometimes, I just sit in the car after I get home from work to listen to some tunes because it just sounds that good. Can't wait to add some fosgate speakers to replace the front and rear factory speakers.

2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500
This was incredibly easy to install for the general do-it-yourself'er. It has all the controls you need to tweek it and dial it in, which is half the fun. I haven't even upgraded my head unit yet, I was just adding some Polk db651s to replace dead speakers and decided to pick this up. I read so many reviews that I nearly installed it and dialed it in from coments I had read. I had literally zero issues installing it, just wired it up using the suggested rockford fosgate amp install kit, which was also great, btw and flipped it on and BOOM. I also had to modify almost nothing aside from a ground screw. A lot of reviewers said they weren't looking for the 16yo in a honda thump but theres no way this isn't peircing nearby walls and making people look around to see where the bass is comming from. Also, its got pretty impressive range. For a single 10 in an amped enclosure it brings a very fullfilling presence. At the price its no wonder everyone's saying they're picking up another for their other vehicles. I'm thinking about picking up another one for my brother, myself. I got this one because of the endless string of reviews saying the infinity dies in under a year so as long as it holds up, I'm a very happy camper. There weren't as many reviews for this one but I didn't find any stating that it died and very few seemingly baseless reviews(here and across the web), and its clear why. If you're on the fence, get off.

This is a good value subwoofer package. Having amplifier and sub speaker in the same box makes it easy to install. I bought this along with the good quality RFK8i wiring kit and got an additional year of warranty from Rockford. The remote gain works great, adjusting bass level when playing music from different sources. It delivers more bass than I expected. Doesn't take much space in a corner of the trunk, where the velcro straps included hold it tight.

Purchased this sub open box along with two highly rated middle of the road (price wise) pairs of 6x8 2-way speakers to replace the stock speakers in my Ranger. One pair Infinity and the other Polk. The best $ I have ever spent. Sincerely. This sub is fantastic! Articulate and powerful. For those of us with a stock head unit the mountable dedicated bass level knob adds eq flexibility. I'm a extreme metal nerd with a major soft spot for Aphex Twin. This sub handles both the intensity of the aggressive drums and bass of your favorite death metal and the mammoth bass presence electronic music demands with plenty of power to spare. Spend the extra $30 or $40 and skip the 8" 100 watt sub you're thinking about buying. This box will make sitting in rush hour traffic the favorite part of your day.

I added this powered sub to my 02 Mini Cooper S. The tight, crisp bass this puts out blows me away. I have had much larger systems with multiple woofers and this little dynamo impresses me the most. The amount of bass fills my little Mini perfectly. If you want to add bass without breking the bank, this is the piece for you. 5 stars is not enough

2010 Chevrolet Camaro
I've always thought car stereo subs were the most annoying thing on the road. Until I heard this one in a friends 2010 Charger. I'm a older driver who doesn't need to announce to the world that I have a sub in my car. The Camaro Boston Acoustics system does not include sub woofer in the 9 speaker set up. This one fills the void and has enough thump to satisfy most drivers. Trust me it is loud enough that it can shake the car windows and the dirt off the car. But not like those annoying oil drum size subs that are out there. My taste in music varies a lot so being able to control the amount of bass with the music with the twist of a knob and not needing to go into the stereo settings was a big plus. A Camaro trunk is small. But positioned correctly and there is still ample trunk space to haul groceries. In short this is a great sub for those that don't feel the need to draw attention to themselves and wake up the whole block doing it.
Pros: Price and performance are unbeatable. Easy install.

I installed the new JVC receiver I got from Crutchfield and the factory speaker were fine but did not have enough bass. I ordered this sub and installed myself. The bass and sound is great. In fact it is a little too much but the remote volume control takes care of all that. It looks like I could have got away with a smaller sub but it is better to have too much than too little. I am very satisfied.

Did a lot of research going back-and-forth between bazooka tubes and boxes, self amplified or not, 8 inch or 15 inch ,After speaking to the professional sales reps at Crutchfield and seeing many positive reviews and high sales I decided to go with this quality product by the leader in the industry! and I couldn't be happier i did! I'm 40 now so I no longer need 2 12s with a 600 W amp so my friends and neighbors could hear me coming!Lol, but I did want something that would make my music enhanced,add some bass to my 89 Mustang and also maybe turn some heads, this definitely fit the bill in more ways than one ! Install was easy and It's compact enough where it won't take up your entire trunk, it even has a quick disconnect to remove if you have to which is a nice feature, I adjusted all the settings to my liking and really like the adjustable bass/gain remote that I wired in my glove compartment , this baby hit's hard enough where it will make you smile and enjoy your favorite genre of music all over again! I was lucky enough to grab it on sale and 300 watts definitely out shines the competition,I like it so much I'm going to buy one for my work car!, look no further you will not be disappointed with this quality 10 inch sub that is sure to satisfy!

I have had it for about 2 months now. It replaced an Infinity Bass link I have had for about 10+ years? I did a bunch of research prior to buying this P300-10 and decided to go with it more or less to give it a try (was reluctant to buy another basslink). I admit that I do not have the most sophisticated ear so tuning and such are not my strong suits, I just like having bass. So I gave it 4 stars as my old Basslink was better. If I had to do it all over again, I would buy another Basslink, (2 reasons more bass and the basslink fit better in my truck). If I read all the literature and deals when buying this P300-10 I should be getting an extended warranty from Fosgate for buying at the same time the RFK8i wiring kit.

I had originally bought the Bazooka BTA850FH which is ok for the price but didn't have enough bottom end for my tastes so I ordered the Rockford for my civic coupe Wow!! what a huge jump in lowend and overall sound. Plenty of bottom end to pair with my stock head unit and speakers for the time being. The punch level control is a great feature to tailor to whatever your listening to. I think its the best bang for your dollar for an add on to a stock system and after market. Enough lowend to shake the mirrors and not go deaf...
