These speakers are a nice upgrade. They are an inexpensive upgrade. They are so much better than what Ford deemed acceptable quality. Crutchfield also sent awesome step by step easy to follow instructions. Thank you Crutchfield.

Pros: Decent quality. Inexpensive. Adapter wire harness included. Excellent instructions.

Cons: The one thing I had to figure out was that I had to drill a hole in the plastic adapter to run the wires through.

Better than having two blown speakers but way to much high end and pretty much no bass. Also had to modify the risers they came with to make them fit. I'll be replacing them soon. You get what you pay for.

Pros: Cheap Clear audio

Cons: No bass

Excellent Sound but the Metra 82-8148 Speaker Mounting Brackets no fit correctly with this Speakers. The speaker holes don't align with the mounting brackets. You have to bend the screws a little so that they made fit and the speakers stay on the brackets. Same thing happen with the Rockford Fosgate P1692 6x9" and the Metra 82-8146 Speaker Mounting Brackets. What I think is that these speakers are much better quality for the for the brackets that Crutchfield provides when you buying these speakers for LEXUS, TOYOTAS 2000 AND UP It's my own personal opinion.

I could not handle the factory speakers in my 2020 Silverado. I have a budget and these met it. So, I thought I would give these speakers a try and replace the front door units. Thanks to the wiring harness and mounting brackets supplied by crutchfield, the process was very easy. The sound is a great improvement over factory. Now i really want to replace the rear door units. All in good time...

I regret my purchase. I should have buy any other cheaper speakers. They sound good but not as what I recall being this brand. I should have put few more dollars for pioneer. Then you get a free plastic adapter that doesn't fit. I had to cut so much to make them fit that a t the end I spent more money on tools than what I saved form buying here and thinking it would fit perfect and be a simplet plug and play. I could have bought something similar that would have fit better most likely.

Pros: They look nice. The only thing that worked as I expected was the metra cable adapter.

Cons: they don't sound as crisp as I recall. The plastic adapter that comes free took so much work to fit them.

I bought two sets of these for two different Subaru models we currently own. These are for the back doors. We've own Rockford Fosgates before and were very happy with them. I did not change the radios in the Subaru so I didnt want speakers that would require a lot of power before they sound good. The Rockford Fosgates I picked are so much better than the factory speakers. The supplied adapters are required for the Subaru. Just take your time. You'll have to remove all the center tabs in the adapters. Line the speaker up against the adapter. Mark areas to be drilled with a silver sharpie. Drill pilot holes without the speaker in the adapter. The supplied screws are too long for the Subaru Outback rear doors. Shorter screw are required. The included harness adapters made it very easy to connect. Al in all, I reccomend Rockford Fosgate and Crutchfield to everyone.

Pros: Great replacenet for factory speakers. Decent price.

Cons: Adapters needed to be altered a bit to work in the Subaru Outback rear doors.

Just upgraded all four door speakers and they sound great! A bit louder and the sound is way clearer. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the speakers. Although the mounts came with predrilled holes, I still had to drill my own holes because they didn't match up quite right. I also had to find some spare screws since the screws that came with the speakers were too long. I only had that problem with the rear doors though. A big upgrade compared to the stock speakers.

Pros: Louder and clearer

Cons: Had to use some of my own screws and drill my own holes

Everything that we needed was provided with purchase. A huge upgrade from factory speakers. Sound is clear; no distorting, cracking or popping. Had a small installation problem. Decent Speakers...HORRIBLE INSTALL...NOT HAPPY

Stallion from HONOLULU, HI on 3/15/2020

2018 Honda Fit Sport

Verified customer (What's this?)
Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

This was probably the second most difficult install I've ever done. I already knew how to quickly remove the door panels from my car (2018 Honda Fit) so this should have taken me 30 minutes tops for 4 speakers, BUT THE SPEAKERS BARELY FIT THE BRACKETS, & the included screws are WAY TOO long for this install. I had to obtain my own screws that were about 1/2 the length of the included screws. The speakers fit in only ONE orientation with the included bracket (HSB524). This install ended up taking like 3 hours b/c I kept trying to figure out how these things would fit. & no help from Crutchfield b/c they were closed when I called. Ultimately, I was ready to just return these & go with 6.5s, but I figured it out. I'm still not happy with the duration of this install. I don't have a lot of free time, & this install that should have been cut & dry was way prolonged. Had I known that going with the 6.75" speakers would be such a hassle, I would've just gotten 6.5". Crutchfield should pull this speaker from the list of speakers that fit my car. And to add insult to injury, I was on my last speaker when I grabbed the final bracket to screw it to the door & one of the two bottom clips was hanging off so I had to head upstairs & superglue it & let it dry for 10 more minutes before installing it. Then while installing it I had to drill a hole at 11 'o clock b/c it was missing. I got a dud bracket. Ugh. Speakers sound good, but may be my last time trusting Crutchfield, unfortunately.

Pros: Good sounding speakers. Probably a little better than OEM in my car, but not by a landslide.

Cons: Install took way too long and I don't have a lot of free time. Crutchfield no help b/c they were closed at the time. Speakers barely fit the included bracket. One of the brackets arrived damaged, and I had to repair it myself with superglue to finish the install.

They are great replacement speakers for factory doors and well worth the price but a cheaper price has a cost, they are better in every way except bass for it was basically the same results as stock just cleaner and better sound quality,I've had them for about 3 weeks now without an amp and they sound alot clearer, would recommend having an small amplifier to add bass but other then that they are awesome for the price, I suggest these with a small amp and I guarantee they will surprise you. The installation was pretty simple, had to make some of my own modifications to the adapter in order for the speakers to sit flush but got it all figured out and finished in about an hour. I'm Pretty satisfied with my purchase, Crutchfield has legit branded products at its cheapest price, can't ask for anymore then that, won my service with excellent service

Pros: Great quality for the price

Cons: Lack of bass*add amp*fixed

I've been a fan of Rockford Fosgate for 20 years and these speakers have met all my expectations. You can't beat the quality.. especially for the price. I usually go for the "Punch" series, but being on a tighter budget I figured I'd give the "Prime" series a shot.. and I am 100% satisfied with these. My factory speakers were 2 ohm, which was fine with the factory radio, but with my aftermarket stereo recommending 4 to 8 ohm speakers.. these speakers were perfect "plug n play" replacements being 4 ohm. No loss in volume or power.. they sound amazing!

Fits 2018 Mustang rear deck.

Clint from SOUTH JORDAN, UT on 1/26/2020

Verified customer (What's this?)
Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

For the money, I don't think you can beat these speakers. I installed them in the rear deck of my 2018 Mustang. The installation was fairly involved as both rear side panels had to be removed. The speaker wire adapters and mounting brackets made the installation much easier. I had to file two notches under each bracket so the speaker would sit flush. These are a much fuller sounding speaker than the factory units. They have a lot of mid bass, which is what I was looking for as I had already added a powered sub. You can't go wrong with these. I think I will leave the door speakers alone as they balance well with these.

Pros: Good value.

Cons: None of he holes line up for the mounting brackets.

good speakers

Jeff from New York, NY on 11/12/2019

Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

These speakers produce a clean sound with Little to no distortion. I am using these on all 4 doors with a stock radio and a kicker key amp. The amp puts out 45 watts per channel which is what the speakers are designed to handle. I drive a 2018 kia sorrento. I am not using a subwoofer. I am satisfied with the full spectrum of sound from the speakers.

Pros: Smooth natural/sharp sound. You get a lot for the amount that these speakers cost.

Cons: Most cars seem to use 6 1/2 rounds and these are 6 3/4 rounds. I had to carefully drill my own holes to mount them. Otherwise no other cons that I can think of. no additional mounts were needed for me.

A great improvement over the OEM speakers that came with the car, the magnets on the Fosgstes are more than twice the size and weight of the original, there was also a noticeable improvement at the low end and the price per pair was good. The only fault during installation is the mounting holes in the speakers didn't exactly line up with the Holes on the included mounting brackets, but not a problem for me, I used a drill to elongate the speaker holes.

Pros: Great sound improvement over the OEMs in my Scion

Cons: Speaker holes didn't match holes on the mounting brackets

2007 Honda civic ex. Basically writing this review for eighth generation civic owners. Instalation is a bit of a hassle. Great speakers. I would recommend the speakers. Instalation: I would recommend insulating the terminals. The termanls shorted out on the metal of the door. Once they were inssulated, no problems. THE ADAPTER BRACKET. The inside tabs were cut out using a blade. The tabs must be removed. Attaching the speaker to the adapter will take some patience with a screw driver. They will fit. THE SCREWS. The screws that come with the speakers (not the adpater bracket) must be cut to fit. This was done easily with wire cutters.

Pros: Sound is as good or better than OEM equippment.

Cons: Installation tricky. Would not recomend for rear deck (with amplifyer).

Verified customer (What's this?)
Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

I replaced my treble lacking 2019 Honda Ridgeline front speakers with the R165X3 3 way. Perfectly acceptable sound resulted. The treble is very clearly defined and bright. I though maybe a bit too bright so I bought the R1675X2 2 way and installed in the rear seat, and compared. The 2 way are not nearly as bright and defined as the 3 way so I will leave the 3 way in the front seat for the sound stage and the more base sounding 2 way in the rear seats. If I did not have a sub-woofer then I would probably prefer the 2 way, but with the sub-woofer to offset the 3 way treble it is fine. Without the sub the treble might be a bit much with the 3 way and the R1675X2 might be the better choice.

Pros: Maybe a better choice if no sub-woofer in the car than R165X3. Easy cheap upgrade to poor factory speakers.

These speakers work extremely well. I had a factory radio in my car before I changed everything out and you could hear a huge difference in quality just with the factory radio. I purchased these originally just for my front deck after I blew a factory speaker. Then, I loved them so much I changed my rear ones too with these same exact speakers. They are a good bang for the buck with solid sound quality. Perfect for if you blew out a speaker or you are just looking for that little more power to your sound.

I should've followed the rule "you get what you paid for," i know they're cheap speakers but they are absolutely terrible. I bought these to replace 11 year old oem Honda civic speakers and these sound horrible compared to the stock speakers. There is absolutely no bass and frequency response is horrendous. I have heard some cheap pawn shop brand speakers that sounds so much better than these. These are an absolute pile of trash

Pros: Im still alive

Cons: Im alive to hear these absolutely garbage speakers

Crutchfield response on 6/24/2019
We're sorry you're disappointed with your speakers. That's a common reaction when replacing car speakers. What you can expect to hear from a new speaker is better clarity and definition in the mids and highs. So your music will sound better and more lifelike, but you might not hear more bass. The only way to get more bass is to add more power, and if you want to keep the factory radio, that means adding an amplifier. A small (40-50 watts), 4-channel amp can supply twice the power of an aftermarket stereo and three or four times the power of the typical factory radio. That'll improve all the sound, but you'll especially hear it in the fullness of the bass. Whenever you are not completely satisfied with anything you purchase from Crutchfield, please contact our Customer Support team at 1-800-955-9091. Purchases from Crutchfield can be returned or exchanged within 60 days of the purchase.

Replaced the stock paper speakers on my 2018 Chevy Silverado LT All Star Edition on both front (R1675X2) and rear doors (R165X3). WOW! What an improvement in sounds and with a decent bass. I am using the factory radio. Sound is definitely crisper and fuller than the stock paper one. I like the fact that now you can view Crutchfield's install instructions via PDF file on your smartphone, tablet, or CPU. I did not remove the entire interior door panels (front and rear) to install the speakers. I just remove the screws and opened the lower half of the panel. I used a piece of wood to brace the panel and the door. There was enough room to install by reaching from the bottom of the door. It took me about an hour overall to install these AWESOME speakers. I removed the Rockford Fosgate emblem on the grill and glued them on the door panel grill and one by the stock radio. I used a heat gun to loosen the glue and a pick to lift up the emblem. Now, my Silverado looks like it was upgraded at the factory with Rockford Fosgate. I did have to remove the tabs from the adapters in order for the speakers to sit flat on the adapters and the negative speaker terminal was a tad bigger then the adapter female connection. I did have to remove the tabs from the adapters in order for the speakers to sit flat on the adapters and the negative speaker terminal was a tad bigger then the adapter female connection.

Cons: Negative terminal speakers just a tad bigger than the female adapter connection. Have to remove the tabs from the speaker adapters.

Sound much better than the stock speakers in my Nissan Versa 2017. However I did have to modify the adapters that came included and find good screws to attach the speakers to them was a pain. But the product is great.

Pros: Sounds good

Cons: Fitment issues due to size 6.75. They fit in most card with a 6.5 but the adapters will need a bit of modification. At least just breaking off some tabs.

These fit just right in my 2019 Ford Wagon. I used 3 pair to replace the all factory 6 3/4" units. A Kicker Key amp under the drivers seat makes them rock.

Pros: Major improvement over factory units.

Cons: An 8" Rockford powered sub was needed for the low end.

Easy to install in RAV4, good mids and highs

Kile from NC on 3/29/2019

2007 Toyota RAV4

Verified customer (What's this?)
Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

For a 2007 (or thereabouts) RAV4, toss the hardware kit from the speakers. Go get a box of #8-32x3/4" panhead machine screws, lock washers, washers, and nuts. Get a box of #8x3/4" self-tapping screws. Mount the new speaker adapter rings using the machine screws, lock washers, etc. The holes in the speaker won't align with the adapter ring, so just start by drilling one hole using a 1/8" bit. The self-tapping screws work very well, even in the pre-drilled holes. Proceed to drill the remaining holes and install screws. I used 8 screws on one speaker and 7 on the other, since the plastic is thinner where you'll drill the holes. Finish up by lining the front surround of the speaker with 1/2"x1/2" self-adhesive window foam. Works great! I was looking for more mids and highs and this speaker works very, very well for me. Enough bass, but not overpowering. I installed another model of the R-Fs in the other set of doors. (Forgive the bad focus in the pic...I was tired.)

Pros: Went in easily (with some extra drilling), good mids and highs, bass is satisfactory

Cons: Doesn't fit the adapter ring without some drilling, but it will work

Great quality for a factory stereo

Replaced the rear speakers in my wife's Nissan Rogue. These sound great playing off the factory stereo along with the Pioneer 6x9s that we put in the front doors. Installation was fairly easy using the wiring harness and speaker mounts that Crutchfield supplied. I did use a Dremel to cut a slot for the wiring harness to pass through the speaker mount and cut a couple of tabs off to the speaker mount to make everything sit flush. There were probably other ways to make this work, but that was the quickest and easiest way for me.

Pros: sound quality

I guess these are fine. I bought them for a 2008 Honda Civic because I had one dead speaker and another on its way out. As stated before by other reviewers, the spacer rings included do not fit these speakers. Save yourself the trouble of trying to make them fit and just buy a 6.5" speaker instead. In my opinion, they sound less muffled than the stock speakers, but there is no bass. And after recently being in the car for a 3.5-hour drive, I didn't find their sound very pleasant after a while. I found the mid and high tones to be sharp to my ear, almost shrill. I felt like there was a certain amount of roundness, or refinement, missing from these speakers. But, they are cheap, so, you get what you pay for, and I was just paying to have working speakers again. These are NOT some kind of diamond in the rough. They are a cheap, passable speaker, but their sound quality is not up to par of more expensive options.

Great speakers for the price! I ordered these to replace stock front door speakers on a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville. I emailed ahead to find direct replacement speakers, and I was told by "Woody" and by the in-site compatibility checker that these would fit directly. Unfortunately, they did not and were not a direct replacement. The mounting hole pattern was 1/8" larger than stock. I managed to drill new mounting holes and use the supplied screws and retention clips to install these speakers into my door panel. The end result was factory looking speakers with fabulous sound. I give these speakers 5 stars because they are great sounding speakers and can't blame the speaker company on it not directly fitting into 20,000 different vehicles. Definitely, a great buy from a great store!

Pros: Great sound. Low price. Quality speaker.

Cons: May not be a direct fit for your application. Be prepared to modify if needed.

These deliver as much quality sound as a reasonable person might expect from low priced, 6 1/2" round speakers. The highs are clear, the midrange is good and the bass adequate if you don't expect to rattle the cars next to you at red lights. A very similar 3-way version of these speakers provides better highs with its dedicated tweeter, but was a little too deep for installation in my rear doors. If you're one of those folks who expect $200 performance out of $20 speakers, buy something more expensive and you won't be disappointed. Crutchfield customer service (River in my case) was superb. The free, included mounts and adapters were perfect for my car and made installation straightforward and quick.

Pros: - The best sound you can expect from low cost, 2-way, 6 1/2" round speakers - Free supplied mounting adapters and wiring harness fit perfectly and made installation a breeze - Superb customer service, backed by years of research and expertise.

Cons: - None

Included screws are too long to fit the door frame........

2017 Nissan Versa Note

Verified customer (What's this?)
Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

I purchased these to replace my stock speakers in my 2017 nissan Versa Note. These were supposed to fit with the recommended speaker bracket sold separately. The included screws are too long. After the speaker is mounted on the speaker bracket, the screws protrude out too far from the back of the bracket and prevent the speaker bracket itself from mounting onto the vehicle's door frame. I had to purchase smaller screws. This is something to keep in mind and should have been noted when purchasing these speakers. Luckily I was smart enough to install them in a Walmart parking lot because I knew I would have to buy SOMETHING else to make it work. The sound is OK but not great. They sound good for what they cost. The highs are much clearer than the factory speakers that use a "whizzer" instead of a tweeter. This should be the main reason for upgrading speakers. The bass is relatively the same but the midrange is less honky.

Pros: Nice clean non-fatiguing highs. Looks well built. Woofer not obstructed by tweeter.

Cons: Midrange is somewhat recessed. Highs are not as sparkling as on metallic tweeters.

Never got to use speakers. Customer support recommended these speakers for 2006 civic. They absolutely do not fit the mounting bracket. I spoke to a tech about the issue and he suggested that I drill My own holes in bracket. The bracket is for 61/2 inch speakers. Not 6 3/4. Obliviously you cannot still a 6 3/4 hole in a 6 1/2 piiexe of plastic. They stated they have sold these for a long time. Obviously they never attempted these speakers in the bracket they provide. It simply does not work. If you call in for advice. Be aware they may not know what their talking about.

I bought these to upgrade my front speakers on my Civic as the stock speakers sounded a little muddy and didn't give me enough volume. Installing the new speakers definitely cleared up the music and added the volume. I am using the stock head unit so I lost a bit of bass but that was to be expected. Messing with the audio settings on my head unit (and the EQ on the app I use to stream music via bluetooth) fixed that problem for the most part. I couldn't be happier with the speakers.

Pros: Clearer sound More volume than stock

Cons: Lose some bass when using stock head unit

I also deleted the Bose Amplifier as the original system is 2 ohm. Sound great definitely worth the efforts.

These replace factory "Bose" door speakers in a Mazda. I have only replaced the blown one, waiting for cooler weather to do the other. The OEM radio assigns these to be woofers, so I can only vouch for bass, which is crisp. It's about an inch less diameter than the original, so I will need to up the EQ, but bass is deep and clean. Poly material in the cones should hold up better than the original paper (recycled newsprint?) as car doors are never 100% watertight.

Pros: Looks and feels like quality. Good, clean low frequency response.

Cons: Many mounting holes around the perimeter, but none appear to match any predrilled mounting schemes.

These speakers were installed in a 2012' Hyundai Sonata. They are a tremendous improvement over the stock factory speakers! The only issue was the included speaker adapter brackets. They probably would have fit the 6 1/2' versions of these speakers, but the holes would not line up properly on these 6 3/4' speakers, and the diameter of the bracket was just a little smaller than needed to properly screw the speaker to the bracket. The adapter brackets mated up to the vehicle just fine, however, so my solution was to use J-B Kwik Weld to attach the speaker to the plastic adapter, and then screw that assembly to the vehicle. Worked perfectly! The J-B Kwik Weld sets up in about 5 minutes, fully cures in 4-6 hours and is more than strong enough. For the money, it would be VERY hard to beat these speakers. I think they have a very balanced overall sound, with plenty of bass to balance the mids and highs. These speakers are also fairly efficient and will play with plenty of volume...Cleanly! . Nice Speakers, Junk Adapters

William from Columbia, SC on 7/18/2018

2006 Toyota Tundra

Verified customer (What's this?)
Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

I bought these to replace factory speakers in the front doors of my 2006 Tundra. To be brutally honest, the free adapter kit is JUNK. Not one hole on the speakers lined up with any holes on the adapter nor the holes in my door. Metal tab nuts were supplied so I figured I'd mark new holes, drill them myself and install the tab nuts and I'd be done. WRONG again! I drilled holes and attempted to install the tab nuts. The lip of the adapter was too thick and the tabs were so weak and thin that they bent and even after you got them on, the holes would not line up because the tab was so stretched out. I spoke with a nice woman at Crutchfield who tried her best to help but ended up referring me to Tech Support. I got a nice guy on the phone and after explaining my problem, his solution was to simply drill holes and screw directly into the face of the plastic adapter. I didn't like that solution and tried to figure out a way to use the speaker rings that came out of my truck but, in the end, I took the tech support guy's "fix" and that is what I did. Not sure how long such an install is really going to last. Now, the speakers. They sound quite nice, somewhat better than the factory speakers though I would expect them to. I think for the $, they are good speakers and would recommend them. My dilemma is that I need 2 more speakers for the back doors but don't want to have to fool with that awful install kit. Surely Crutchfield can find a better adapter kit?

Pros: Crisp, clear sound, more bass than I would have expected.

Cons: Adapter kit is all but useless. Will try to make original rings work if I replace rear door speakers.

Installed in the rear doors of a Ford Escape SE. I now can hear the high tones, but the mid and low tones are similar to stock speakers, if not a bit worse. I have read that speakers will 'loosen up' over time and punch out more bass. I'm hoping that is the case here. The adapters needed trimming and new holes drilled, but worked OK.

Pros: High tones, easy install

Cons: Lack mid and bass tones.

Good speakers, sound good, but did not bolt into supplied adapters for Honda. Had to drill in extra holes to mount. So extra work made for much longer installation. Not problem with speakers but a fitment challenge.

Pros: Good sounding better than stock. More efficient and wider range. Good price too.

Cons: Extra work to get them installed with supplied Honda mounting rings made for a longer install time. Had to drill out mounting holes and cut mounting screws after mounted to Honda adapter ring making accessing ring mounting screw difficult.

For the price, don't get me wrong. These speakers are great if you want treble, but if you're looking for bass these just don't have it. For factory replacements, they're not bad (as my front speakers had no treble at all) but they are very disappointing when the bass doesn't match the treble quality. Buying the P1 6x9's for the rear deck. Hopefully that will even things out.

Pros: Hits high notes decently with no distortion

Cons: Disappointed in the bass from the speakers.

When I saw these legendary brand speakers on sale I was a little skeptical on how well they would perform, but boy am I glad I purchased them. I am running two pairs of them on an Alpine 40w per ch. rms power amp at 90Hz high-pass in the doors of my 2002 Maxima, and they are loud and as clear as a bell with virtually zero distortion. I have used this amp with other brand speakers and I must say these are the best sounding I've used with it. The sound they produce is that of speakers of much greater cost. Still can't believe the quality sound for the price, plus free wire harnesses and mounting adapters with purchase. Can't beat that!

Pros: Great quality sound, low distortion, and great price for the brand.

Cons: None that I can see so far.

poor sound, but may be due to OEM stereo

Samuel from Gibsonia, PA on 5/21/2018

Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

Overall the sound was worse than factory. But i'm not going to totally blame the speakers right off the bat. I installed these in the rear doors of my 2011 Prius with factory stereo. I installed a previous set of RF Primes in the front door and dash and the sound was a marked improvement. I installed the left speaker first and compared it to the right and was amazed that the range was so poor. I put the old one back in for now and will replace the head unit before doing the speakers again(I was planning on donig that later anyway). I'm not 100% convinced that it's the speakers though, as I think the output from the OEM head unit may be unable to power even these speakers properly. So if you have an upgraded stereo you will most likely have better results.

Pros: * they -should- perform much better than the OEM speakers, which had magnets roughly the size of a $1.50 stack of quarters * easy RMA!

Cons: * sound out of the box was very poor, with almost no low end and not much range at all

The sound quality is very good but the installation process was kind of problematic because the speakers came with too long screws. I had to go to a local hardware store to purchase a screw cutter i.e. Added money spent for my budget and do the installation. Crutchfield's installation kit worked very well but those screws broke it. Out of this the process was interesting.

Well balanced speaker for the price

Verified customer (What's this?)
Verified employee purchase (What's this?)

Purchased two sets of this speaker to replace the factory speakers in my 2016 Mazda CX-5. These give me a more balanced sound with some actual bass, which the stock speakers lacked. The speakers can be modified to allow separate connections to the woofer and tweeter, which I may do at a later date. My only issue was with the mounting brackets that Crutchfield sent. I had to modify all four brackets. The front speakers did line up with any of the holes in the bracket, forcing me to drill new ones. The rear brackets had no cutout for the speaker wires, so I had to cut out a small section to route the wires through. The rear brackets were also a bit too small to properly line up with the mounting holes, so I had to put the screws in at a angle.

Pros: Great sounding speaker, well balanced.

Cons: Mounting brackets provided by Crutchfield had to be modified to fit my vehicle.

Pretty good sound for the price. Sounded better than the expensive polk's I ordered previously. Only issue I had was that Crutchfield said these would fit my 2018 sportage. That wasn't true. I had to drill new mounting holes in the speaker closer to the cone.

I installed these in the rear doors of my Tacoma and it was very easy with the supplied parts. Also it sounds much better that the previous speakers that were in there (Sony Xplode) I would recommend them to anyone who wants to upgrade there car audio.

Pros: Priced right and fits perfectly

Cons: None
