Bought this RF 12" to replace a punctured sub, but this sub was too much for my previous box and amp. So I purchased an MTX Thunder 500.1 mono block with a 1.79 cu ft ported box for the woofer. Holy moly does this thing hit. It's crystal clear and smooth but if you want it to, it'll rattle your eye balls no problem at all. Kinda glad I only went with a single sub

I got these speakers for my work van and let me tell you my commute will never be the same. I can drown out all the heavy traffic with my stereo system and relax while i drive! i love these speakers!!!!!

Great Subs for the Price

Since my last two subs finally blew I needed some great subs. I bought the low profile ones due to having to put them in the box that fits under my chevy's back seats. Was worried if they would have the sound I wanted and man do they ever! I love feeling like I am at the concert and feeling the bass in my chest, well these subs do that for me. I have two of these conected to an 800W amp and they deliver the bass I wanted. Overall, not only do they sound great but look clean and professional.

why did i wait

why did i wait to upgrade? I like the bass to fit the music not overpower it. this sub makes you feel the music without taking over.

I recently had to purchase these r2 subs after switching vehicles and my p3 rocksford's wouldn't fit under my seat , and I was a little doubtful that they would sound anything like my p3's but once I hooked them up and played a bass test cd I made all that doubt went away. These speakers sound really good in my custom built ported down firing enclosure wired at 1ohm. Just goes to prove why I will never diverge from Rockford fosgates quality. They always put out the best!!!

Booooom

I was concerned this subwoofer wouldn't sound as good because it is the shallow design. I was wrong. I built a downward facing sealed box that was only 6" deep so it could sit under my back seat. It sounds absolutely awesome. I did give it the recommended .9 cubic feet of air space, and I sealed the box well. This thing gives me as much bass as I could ever dream of, and even more if I ever wanted any.
