About the Rockford Fosgate RFXMP3.8
Hours of custom music mixes downloaded from the 'Net. Rockford Fosgate's RFXMP3.8 MP3 changer offers MP3 file playback through a device small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, with no moving parts never a skip or hiccup.
MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3) music "files" are downloaded from the Internet (or "ripped" from your own CDs) and then stored in your computer. You can transfer these music files (using the included docking station) to tiny memory cards (about the size of a postage stamp). The RFXMP3.8 holds up to 8 individual multi-media (MMC) cards providing hours of music. You can expect the supplied 8 MB Multi Media Card to hold up to 1/2 hour of music, depending on the sound quality (i.e., amount of compression) of the recording. Optional cards with larger capacity can hold up to 1-1/2 hours of near CD-quality sound (up to 4 hours of near FM-quality sound).
Any compatible RFX head unit (beginning with the prefix "RFX82" or "RFX83") will control all of the changer's functions, including direct track access (from remote), direct card access (from remote), track repeat, and track random. One 8 MB multi-media card is included.

If you are comfortable unplugging your RFXMP3.8 changer to plug back in your printer, Windows NT will work fine. Additionally, the multi-media card icon will not show that a card is inserted in the down loader. Per Rockford, they are working to fix this, so please check rockfordfosgate.com for updates.
