About the Rockford Fosgate T1675
Rockford builds their Power line of speakers for the true car audio enthusiast. The Power T1675 6-3/4" speakers utilize advanced design elements to ensure that they'll deliver superior sound in your vehicle for a long, long time. The lightweight polypropylene cone is reinforced with strong carbon fibers so it'll keep its shape when you're pushing the speaker hard. You'll hear accurate midrange and bass reproduction, while the 1" aluminum dome tweeter makes the high frequencies sparkle. These speakers will handle up to 75 watts RMS so connect an external amplifier to get the most out of them.
Rockford Fosgate innovations
Rockford uses their proprietary VAST™ technique to increase the cone area of the T1675 without increasing the size of the basket. This larger cone gives you deeper lows and more power handling, and it's supported by a durable rubber surround that's designed to last a long time. Rockford Fosgate mounts the tweeter on an offset suspension system, minimizing any acoustic reflections from back of the tweeter and maximizing accuracy. And slots around the frame make it easier to install these speakers if the factory holes are slightly off, and they even come with plates that allow them to fit into oval speaker openings.

Rockford Fosgate T1675 reviews
Just used these for fill-in for the rear seat of a crew cab vs $575 JL and well worth it!!!!

Installed them in the rear doors of my 2007 Dodge Ram megacab without any problems. They have really great midbass and excellent sound. I wish I had installed these in my front doors instead of the JL component set
Pros: Great sound and midbass

Mounted them in a 2012 street glide. ..they sound awesome..I was concerned about the fit but if you get the correct adapters they fit like a glove. .
Pros: more full range of sound...great quality speaker.
Cons: Had to get the correct adapter to fit my harley. The tweeter sticks out and will not fit with the standard adapter plate... The part # is ...pmsa675.. This is a rockford fosgate part number...made specifically for this speaker.

Injection-Molded Woofers: The woofer cones are injection-molded carbon fiber and polypropylene. This molding process assures a uniform cone thickness for superior linearity and clarity. It is also light weight and rigid for decreased distortion and improved bass response.
Butyl Rubber Surrounds: The butyl rubber surrounds dampen unwanted harmonic distortion while maintaining linear geometry under extreme weather conditions. This leads to less distortion, superior frequency response, and superior durability.
VAST Surround: The Vertical Attach Surround Technique (VAST) increases a speaker's effective radiating cone area without increasing the size of the basket.
Tweeters: Each speaker features a 1" Aluminum dome tweeter for outstanding dispersion and clarity. The tweeters are mounted to an offset cantilever to eliminate frequency response anomalies due to acoustic reflection between the woofer cone and the rear of tweeter.
FlexFit Basket: The Flex Fit frame utilizes slots (where possible) instead of single screw sized holes; allowing slight adjustment of the speaker when mounted.
StampCast Basket: The T1675 features StampCast steel baskets for added rigidity.
Multi-OEM Adapter: For mounting flexibility, the included brackets can be modified to fit 5x7, 6x8, or 6x9 applications.
Note: The bracket is generic (cutout sized for a 5-1/4) and requires modification before the T1675 will fit into it.
Speaker Terminals: These speakers have 0.25" wide positive (+) terminals and 0.187" wide negative (-) terminals, which are too large for the vehicle-specific speaker harnesses supplied by Crutchfield for many vehicle applications. It is recommended that a pack of assorted female quick slides (item number 120FQS10PK, sold separately) be purchased and spliced to the harnesses to adapt them to the speaker terminals.
