Dynamic Thermal Management
Power Series amps use Rockford Fosgate's patented, award-winning "Dynamic Thermal Management," a 3-stage cooling system that uses forced air to dissipate heat evenly across the amp and out through the large heatsinks. This results in cooler internal components, higher efficiency, and lower distortion.
MEHSA cooling process
MEHSA is a Rockford Fosgate proprietary process that increases the heat transfer from the MOSFET devices to the heatsink. This allows the heat to escape more readily from the amplifier, so that the transistors stay cooler.
"Differential Input" circuitry helps eliminate any electronically induced noise or hum that could be picked up by the input cables, allowing only clean signals to enter the amplifier. You get more music with less heat and noise in a stylish package that's up to 40% smaller than previous models.
T600-2 Power performance
The T600-2 puts out 200 watts RMS into each channel more than enough to drive a pair of full-range speakers or components to their musical peaks. Or you can bridge your T600-2 to blast 600 watts to a subwoofer or two. Either way, you will get clean, powerful sound from your Power Series amp. The Punch EQ circuit offers variable treble and bass boosts, so you can adjust your music for your car's listening environment.

I bought this amp a few years ago to run 2 shallow mount MB Quart 10's in my 2004 F 150 SuperCrew. I replaced Audio Bahn 10's and a smaller Rockford amp. This amp KICKS BUTT!!!!! Easy installation, great sleek looks, and a crazy amount of power!!!! You ears will want you to turn this down before you max it out. Excellent amp for the money.
Pros: Not to big, very sleek looks CRAZY POWERFUL!

This is my third subwoofer installation. I've been an audio hobbyist since the 60's and am a repeat customer at Crutchfield. - Rockford Fosgate Power T600-2 I am using this in bridged mode connected to a Pioneer TS-W311D4 12" dual voice coil subwoofer wired in series with an effective impedance of 6 ohms. The gain setting for this install is on the low side, about .3. I suspect this amp would blow the speaker mentioned above if the gain was set above .6 and the volume was cranked way up playing material with deep bass. I have the LPF setting at 50Hz and am not using the additional bass boost. Playing various audio CDs with deep bass for more than 2 hours at a reasonable volume, the amp was not even warm. I really appreciate the large size input connectors for the power and speaker wires. This accepts 4AWG power cables. This appears to be a professional product. I would buy one again. received the amp, looks like a decent small package too, reviews i've seen online said nice unit i will try to order again but hope it's much better quality, the adjustment knobs were off, meaning the little arrows that point were way off when i hooked the RCA's up it was staticey, and intermittent meaning no sound out of left side unless constantly finagling with connections, plus it was having bleed through as well. hope it's just pot luck on a bad unit and not a production run issue. i plan to run this with the pioneer 560BT head unit (which has VERY weak RCA output) to a pair of the Pioneer 5 way 6*9s i toasted the JVC arsenal amp i had, and the pioneer 200w amp gets over heated easily, despite being an open trunk too this is why i chose this amp, a little more power

Replacing an equivalent Kicker amp to run two 10" L5 2 ohm DVC. Running each at 4ohm on separate channels. Runs louder, cleaner, and cooler than the kicker. Compact size makes it ideal below the rear seat of my Jeep Wrangler. Can't go wrong with Rockford.

I installed this hitting 2- 10" JL 10W3V3 in my 08 Silverado EXT CAB a few days ago. This amp will make you deaf. I have it running at lower than half gain, LP, about 100HZ and it absolutely destroys the subs. I am going easy during the break in time, but I will see what it has soon. Typical RF it says 600 but sheet says 780X1 at 4 OHMS Bridged. I have had Punch for years, never Power series, but I see the difference. Never go wrong with RF!

Cast Aluminum Heatsink: The cast aluminum heatsink dissipates heat generated by the amplifier's circuitry. The inherent advantage of casting provides a 30% improvement of cooling over conventional extrusion heatsink designs.
Dynamic Thermal Management (DTM): DTM Evenly distributes excess heat across entire amplifier heatsink.
MEHSA³ (Maximum Efficiency Heat Sink Application-Third Generation): MEHSA is a Rockford Fosgate proprietary process that increases the heat transfer from the MOSFET devices to the heatsink. The multi-layer insulated metal MEHSA substrate operates with minimal thermal resistance, spreading heat both downward and outward to quickly dissipate heat from each device across the heatsink. This allows greater power output, enhanced thermal stability, and maximum reliability.
Trans-ANA (TRANSconductance Active Nodal Amplifier): Trans-ANA is a circuit that allows the audio signal to pass through the amplifier at low voltage. The signal is directly level-shifted to the fixed high voltage rails via a pair of drive transistors. Signal linearity is assured by an active node formed by the drive transistors at ultrasonic frequencies. The result is crystal clear sound quality.
NOMAD (NOn-Multiplying Advanced Decision): NOMAD is an intelligent protection circuit that uses an analog computer to make real time decisions regarding temperature, voltage, current and impedance. The unit is protected without limiting sound output unless needed.
TO-247 MOSFET: The Power T400-2 utilizes ultra high performance MOSFET output devices, giving the amplifier more power handling capability as well as lower thermal impedance for more reliable operation, even under the harshest load conditions.
DSM (Discrete Surface Mount): In the manufacturing process high speed robotics are used to place 1% tolerance parts and large board traces. DSM improves the efficiency of the circuit, decreases cross-talk from other discrete components and lowers operating temperature.
Power and Protection LEDs: The LEDs are located on top of the amplifier. A blue Power LED illuminates when the amplifier is turned on. A red Thermal LED illuminates if the amplifier overheats. The yellow Protect LED illuminates if a short circuit or too low an impedance is detected at the speaker connections. When any of the protection circuits engage, the amp automatically shuts down until the problem is corrected.
Internal Crossover: The amplifier's internal crossover has a 24 dB/octave slope. It's selectable for high-pass, all-pass (full range), or low-pass operation and is variable from 50Hz to 500Hz.
Punch EQ: Punch EQ works along with the crossover switch. When the crossover is set to low-pass, the Punch EQ acts as a variable bass boost; 0-18 dB at 45 Hz. When the crossover is set to high-pass, the Punch EQ acts as variable treble boost, 0-12 dB at 12 kHz. When the crossover is set to all-pass, both the bass and treble boost circuits are active.
Power Connections: The power and ground terminals are nickel-plated captive c-clamp wire connectors and will accommodate up to 4-gauge wire. An external 150-amp fuse (not included) must be installed on the power wire. The remote turn-on terminal will accept wire sizes of 12- to 24-gauge. A Phillips-head or slotted screwdriver (not supplied) is required to tighten/loosen the terminals.
Speaker Connections: The 2-channel nickel-plated clamp wire connectors will accept 8-gauge to 18-gauge wire. A Phillips-head or slotted screwdriver (not supplied) is required to tighten/loosen the terminals.
Remote Punch EQ (PEQ) Connection: An RJ-45 jack is provided for connecting an optional remote PEQ control (575ROCKPEQ, sold separately). If you use the remote PEQ, the Punch EQ control on the amp is disabled, and replaced by the remote. Note: Previous model Punch Bass and Para-Punch remotes will not work with this amp.
