Product Research

Features

Overview: The Noco Boost Settings Keeper lets you disconnect your vehicle's battery without losing your onboard electronic settings, such as the radio, clock, seat positions, alarms, GPS, etc. The Settings Keeper features a 16-pin OBD II connector on one end, that's compatible with all vehicles built after 1995, and a GXC 12-volt port connector for plugging into a Noco GB70 or GB150 Ultra Safe Lithium Jump Starter (sold separately).

Operation: The Boost Settings Keeper simply plugs into your vehicle's compatible OBD II diagnostics port while also plugging in to your GB70 or GB150 jump starter. When the jump starter is powered on, it will provide +12VDC to the vehicle's electrical system while you have the battery disconnected. Care should be taken to turn off all electrical devices in the vehicle before connecting the Settings Keeper.

Safety: The Settings Keeper includes an inline 10A fuse to protect the system from current over-draw. Always verify the vehicle manufacturer's maximum current supported through the OBD II port before using the Settings Keeper. The Settings Keeper should not be used if the vehicle's OBD II fuse is below 10A and/or it shares a fuse with the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) or other sensitive equipment.
