Overview: The iOttie Auto Sense Automatic Wireless Charging Dash Mount features an automatic clamping feature that adjusts the mount arms to perfectly fit your phone. While in the cradle, the mount wirelessly charges your Qi-compatible phone to keep the battery topped off. The mount has a powerful suction cup that attaches to your dashboard or windshield to securely keep your phone close by for safe hands-free operation. The adjustable mount has a telescopic arm to position the phone in virtually any position. The Auto Sense mechanism works with standard and plus-sized smartphones.

Auto Sense: The Auto Sense mechanism has a proximity sensor that detects when your phone is nearby (3" or less) and automatically spreads the cradle arms. Once you have placed your phone in the cradle, the arms automatically close to firmly hold your phone in place. An adjustable support foot helps align your phone to the Qi Wireless Charging coil for best charging results. To release the phone from the cradle, simply press one or both of the release buttons on either side of the cradle. The cradle will accommodate standard and Plus-sized smartphones from 2.46" to 3.64" wide. The proximity sensor works best with reflective or bright colored phones or cases. For black or matte finish phones or cases, a reflective sticker is included to enhance device detection. The mount rotates 360°, enabling you to view your device in portrait or landscape orientation.

Dashboard/Windshield Mount: The Auto Sense Automatic Wireless Charging Dash Mount has a 2.7" diameter Super Suction Cup with a coating of sticky gel for a longer lasting hold. If the suction cup loses its stickiness, you can rinse it in warm water to restore its sticky surface. The included 3" diameter dashboard pad has an adhesive backing for mounting it to most any surface. The pad is flexible and can be installed on curved or textured surfaces. The mount has a pivoting and telescopic arm that helps you position your phone in the optimum position. You can pivot the arm up to a 225° arc, and extend the arm from 4.9" to 6.3".

Qi Wireless Charging: Qi (pronounced "chee") wireless charging is the global standard for smartphone wireless charging. It uses electromagnetic fields to safely transfer power from a transmitting source to a receiving device through magnetic induction to wirelessly charge the device's battery without the need for a charging cable. Simply place your Qi-compatible phone in the charging cradle to begin charging.

Power: The Auto Sense Wireless Charging mount comes with a vehicle power adapter with a 48" cable that connects to the Auto Sense cradle via a Micro-B USB plug. The power adapter plug conveniently has a Type A USB port for charging another device at the same time. For Qi Wireless Charging, the device outputs 7.5W (for iPhone), or 10W (for Android). The Auto Sense proximity sensor is powered by the USB cable and a coin-cell battery so that it retains power to move the cradle arms for a short time after the vehicle is shut off.
