Overview: The DLPKCHG2 is a combination kit which features an upgradeable door lock and alarm interface section, plus an integrated 2nd generation Chrysler Sentry Key transponder bypass. Designed to operate with Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep vehicles, this kit combines upgradeable data bus door lock and alarm interface technology with Chrysler's 2nd generation Sentry Key transponder to bypass the factor immobilizer when remote starting. The DLPKCHG2 includes a D2D (data-to-data) port for internet upgrades and firmware changes as well as enhanced vehicle interface functionality and security with D2D compatible remote starter systems. Remote control systems that are D2D enabled can securely communicate with the DLPKCHG2 to transmit and receive data commands which initiate specific vehicle functions such as door lock/unlock, immobilizer override, and/or request information from the vehicle such as status of entry points (doors, hood, and trunk). With D2D, the system will even detect if the factory remote transmitter is being used and synchronizes the arming and disarming of both the factory system as well as the aftermarket remote start/alarm system.
