JLJT-Pods are designed to fit all 2018-up Jeep Wrangler JL and JL Unlimited models, as well as 2020-up JT Gladiators. With this Alpine system upgrade, you can install aftermarket 6-1/2” or 6-3/4” component speakers with separate tweeters (sold separately).

Great looks and better sound
Installation is easy – just remove the factory grilles and speakers, then attach the pods using the factory grille screws. Once the JLJT-Pod is in place, your new speakers will access the air space in the entire sound bar in addition to the new area created by the pods, so you'll get much better sound.
The new, larger speakers installed in your JLJT-Pod will line up with the factory sound bar's woofer holes and the magnets will typically fit with room to spare. Speakers with exceptionally large magnets might not work, though, since the maximum mounting depth is about 2-5/8” and the maximum magnet diameter is just over 3-1/2”. Please note that these pods will position your new speakers about an inch lower than the factory speakers.

Overview: The Select Increments JLJT-Pods (Alpine) let you add a set of 6-1/2" or 6-3/4" component speakers (sold separately) to your rear soundbar in select Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator vehicles, without having to remove or cut your factory soundbar. Each bracket is made of textured black plastic that matches the factory soundbar.
Applications: The Select Increments JLJT-Pods can be installed in 2018-up Jeep Wrangler JL & JL Unlimited models, and 2020-up Jeep Gladiator JT models - all with a factory Alpine audio system.
Soundbar Installation: The JLJT-Pods are designed to mount in place of the factory rear soundbar speakers, without the need for cutting or modifying the soundbar. Pre-drilled mounting holes on the JLJT-Pods line up to the factory mounting holes, letting you re-use the factory hardware. Additional longer screws are provided with the JLJT-Pods. If applying the included foam gasket material along the edge of the soundbar (recommended for sound quality), the longer screws may be necessary.
Speaker Mounting: The Select Increments JLJT-Pods let you mount a set of 6-1/2" (6.5") or 6-3/4" (6.75") component speakers (sold separately). Each pod has a pre-cut opening for the woofer that has been carefully placed to provide the maximum mounting depth (approximately 3.2") and speaker magnet diameter (approximately 3.625"). The tweeter location must be cut out for your proper tweeter size. An indented center-point in the tweeter mounting location provides a guide for cutting out the tweeter opening. Please check here to see which component speakers will fit your vehicle. Two sets of speaker wire adapters are provided for a direct plug-in to the factory speaker wiring for both the woofer and tweeter.
Notes:
- Speakers, grilles, and speaker mounting hardware are not included and must be purchased separately.
- The JLJT-Pods will require drilling out the tweeter locations with a hole-saw and drilling speaker screw-holes for the woofer.

I installed these pods to remove an awful speaker cover rattle with the factor covers and upgraded the speakers at the same time. Success on both issues. The pod covers look very nice and match the Jeep's interior. Instruction where spot on, and the wire harnesses were a breeze to snap in.
