About the Select Increments Sono-Pod
Bass that fits
Bass that fits
Whether you're on- or off-road, every day in your Wrangler is a new adventure that deserves a great soundtrack. You'll need solid bass to build your sound around, but it can be hard to find space for a subwoofer enclosure. Select Increments made the Sono-Pod to fit under your Wrangler's security shelf or Insta-trunk, and it's ready to make great bass with your 10" subwoofer (sold separately).
Stealth bass in the back of your Wrangler.
Fits most subs
The enclosure's 1/4” thick plastic walls give the box stiffness to resist vibration, and it'll accommodate 10" subs up to 8 inches deep. The enclosure's feet are contoured to match the shape of the carpet-covered floor. The package also includes the mounting hardware you'll need to install the Sono-Pod.

Select Increments Sono-Pod reviews
This enclosure was a gift for someone that drives a TJ Jeep Wrangler, and while it looks great and sounds good, there are a couple of drawbacks to the unit IMHO. Something that is recommended in the install instructions but which I found inadequate was using a glue gun to seal off the speaker wire inlet/outlet hole. The dried glue is not elastic enough to handle much movement in the speaker wires, and that leaves it prone to losing the seal if the wires are jiggle around much. I ended up using some Flex-Seal rubberized compound to seal the hole off once the speaker wires were pulled through it. The relatively low internal volume of the enclosure (0.65 cubic feet) means it will likely be smaller than the recommended sealed box volume for many of the more common subs out there. This can be mitigated somewhat by using some poly-fill. I used some spray adhesive to line the inside with poly-fill (~1 lb.), increasing the effective internal volume (from the sub's perspective) to about 0.75 cu. ft. Lastly, the screw holes for the self-tapping screws opens up into the internal volume air space. That is potentially an air leak for the enclosure and will have to be dealt with in some scenarios. I used the clear silicone caulk to seal these spots off and stop/prevent chuffing. Bottom line: great for Jeeps when a clean looking install is the main goal. It will not outperform a sealed enclosure of the same size, but it will sound good enough if you
Pros: Great for space-limited applications like Jeeps; Looks very clean once installed; sound good (with a little help)
Cons: Some extra work required to address design limitations; small internal volume can be a hindrance for some subs

This fit perfectly behind my Instatrunk. It definitely helps with the sound quality in a vehicle with no top!
Pros: Great fitment
Cons: Drilling into the floor of the vehicle

Overview: The Select Increment Sono-Pod is a non-amplified subwoofer enclosure that can house a single 10" subwoofer (sold separately) and is designed to mount in the cargo area of 1976-2006 Jeep CJ7, YJ, and TJ Wranglers. At just under 11" tall, the Sono-Pod fits under security shelves and insta-trunks while still maintaining some cargo space.
Enclosure: The Sono-Pod enclosure is made from 1/4" thick textured plastic, making it extremely durable and good at nullifying vibration. With a cutout diameter of a little over 9" and a mounting depth of 8", the Sono-Pod can accommodate most 10" subwoofers and has a 1" wide recessed flange which allows the opening to be cut wider depending on the subwoofer's basket dimensions. The Sono-Pod is a sealed enclosure with 0.73 cu. ft. of internal space. The subwoofer mounts in a downward firing configuration and is offset approximately 2" from the floor, maximizing bass output and offering protection from the elements.
Mounting: The Sono-Pod legs are contoured on the underside to mimic the roll and rise in the vehicle's sheet metal, giving it a precise fit. With mounting hardware included, the pod is secured to the floor with three 2-1/2" self-tapping screws which include black screw-caps for a cleaner look. The wire-lead hole is located on the underside of the pod near the wheel-well, helping keep the wires concealed. Eight Phillips-head screws are provided for mounting the subwoofer to the enclosure.
Note: Drilling into the vehicle's sheet metal is required for installation.
