Overview: This Speaker Connector Kit comes with 8 Posi-Tap tap connectors so you can connect aftermarket speakers to your existing speaker wires. Posi-Tap connectors allow you to tap into wires without cutting or stripping them. Each connector has a tapered design and a threaded cap on each end. Just insert wire to be tapped into the large cap (this is the Tap end) and hand tighten into the barrel. The conductor point pierces the tapped wire without compromising its conductive integrity. Insert the stripped wire through the small cap (this is the Accessory end), then tighten. An internal conductor runs the length of the Posi-Tap, giving you a solid electrical connection. The Posi-Tap connectors are vibration proof, fully insulated, and reusable.

Can u link 3 wire together in one connecter?

This could work to tap into one wire on one end and then connect 2 smaller wires whose combined size is no greater than 14 gauge with the other end of the connector

These taps are compatible with 18 gauge wire on the Tap end and 14-20 gauge wire on the Accessory end.

Are there enough wire connectors to do an aftermarket speaker job? I need them for two speakers in the front and two in the back and I was wondering if I need more than 8 to do a job like this

All you need is the 8 that come in the package just connect the factory wires to the new speaker wires and your good to go they work great

wrong type of connector for that job-this product was used to tap speaker outputs for a subwoofer installation that could be transfered to another vehicle in the future with minimal intrusion to the original wiring

I ended up not using these, the professional installer had their own but you'll use 2 for each speaker, one positive and one negative. If you want to be sure you have enough get another one, they're cheap all things considered and you can use them for any other wire connecting jobs in the future. Hope that helps!

Yes, 8 connectors is enough for wiring two front speakers and two rear speakers, if you are connecting your new speaker wires to your head unit/radio. You should only need two connectors per speaker. one for the positive wire and one for the negative wire. If you wanted to have extra connectors in case one of them gets damaged somehow, then you might want to buy 2 packs. hope this helps out.
