About the Wiring Kit for Processors and Low-Current Devices
If you need a source of 12 volts to power a low-current, low-power device like a radar detector, a dash or rear-view camera, an amplifier turn-on circuit, or an active signal processor like a DSP, LOC, EQ, or line driver, this power wiring kit will work perfectly in just about any situation. The kit includes enough wire to allow you to connect directly to the car battery or to your amp system's distribution block. The package actually contains enough pieces to accommodate a couple of low-power installations.
Installation note: The 18-gauge wire in this package can only safely handle current draw of up to 5A for a short wire run. Using a higher-rated fuse or device with this wiring kit could result in melted wires or a fire.
What's in the box:

- 2 Black 12- to 18-gauge Posi-Fuse Blade Fuse Holders

Overview: This kit includes a 25' section of 2-conductor 18-gauge wire, two fuse holders, and six ATC automotive blade-style fuses (two 1-amp, two 3-amp, and two 5-amp). The fuse holders will accept 12- to 18-gauge wire, and each holds one ATC, ATO, or MINI blade-type fuse. To attach the wire to the fuse holders strip the stranded wires, insert them in the end caps, and hand tighten. The wire ends are locked between opposing cone shapes to create a dirt-, vibration-, and heat-proof housing. The connectors are also reusable.
