Powerful 5.1 surround sound from Klipsch

Love Klipsch sound? Looking to give your movies and TV shows an exciting boost? This bundle has all the speakers you need to create a voice-matched 5.1 system — pair it with a compatible home theater receiver for seamless, powerful sound surround sound.

Klipsch Reference R-610F floor-standing front speakers

These speakers are a great introduction to the energetic, room-filling sound we've come to expect from Klipsch towers. A pair of R-610Fs can help bring movie night to life as the front left and right channels of your home theater system. Each uses a Tractrix® horn-loaded tweeter along with a 6-1/2" copper spun woofer to create natural, full-range sound with solid bass response. And they're very efficient, so you won't need a lot of power to drive them.

Klipsch Reference R-52C center channel

We all want to hear movie dialogue clearly, even if the starship's engines are rumbling and instrument panels are exploding under a barrage of enemy fire. The Klipsch R-52C delivers accurate, audible dialogue along with detailed, lifelike sound effects. A horn-loaded tweeter provides a full, clear front sound stage. And two copper spun 5-1/4" woofers deliver solid, authentic bass for on-screen special effects.

Klipsch Reference R-41M bookshelf rear speakers

This pair of compact, affordable R-41Ms continues the Klipsch tradition of crafting high-quality speakers that offer powerful, lifelike sound. The horn-loaded tweeter — a hallmark of the Klipsch brand — produces clear, detailed highs. Each speaker's copper spun 4" woofer delivers solid midrange and bass response.

Klipsch R-100SW powered subwoofer

This powered subwoofer features a 10" copper spun woofer that's powered by a 150-watt RMS amplifier. The R-100SW is relatively compact, but it still delivers bass down to 32 Hz — deep enough to add serious punch to movie soundtracks and TV show special effects.

Floor Standing Speakers

1" Horn-Loaded Tweeter: The R-610F floor standing loudspeaker features Klipsch's proprietary Tractrix Horn technology mated with a 1" aluminum LTS tweeter, for impressive high-end response and greater extension, enhanced imaging and powerful dynamics.

  • 90°x90° Tractrix Horn: The square Tractrix Horn delivers a 90° (w) x 90° (h) dispersion pattern for a broader sound-stage. Klipsch exclusive Tractrix horn technology ensures that the speaker's high frequency energy is aimed at the listener and reduces artificial reverb or filtering caused by indirect sound bouncing off of walls. Using this proprietary focused technology provides clarity, dynamics, and detail for your movies and music
  • LTS (Linear Travel Suspension): Behind each horn lies a 1.0" tweeter with a linear travel suspension. Klipsch exclusive Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) minimizes distortion for enhanced, detailed performances. In addition, Using Kapton (an extremely light and rigid material) in the tweeter suspension provides high efficiency and improve resolution and detail.

6.5" Copper-Spun IMG Woofer: The Klipsch R-610F floor standing speaker houses a single 6.5" Copper-Spun IMG woofer. The Copper-Spun IMG (Injection Molded Graphite) woofer is exceptionally light while being extremely rigid - providing remarkable low frequency response, with minimal cone breakup and distortion.

Tapered Crossover: The Klipsch Reference series floor standing loudspeaker utilizes a tapered array crossover (1.8kHz) to smooth the transition between the tweeter and woofer, improve midrange definition, and widen dispersion.

Rear Tractrix Port: The rear-firing Tractrix port is perfectly matched to the cabinet and woofer, creating ideal airflow with minimal distortion or turbulence even at the lowest frequencies.

MDF Cabinet: The Klipsch R-610F floor standing speaker features a MDF cabinet with a scratch-resistant, textured wood grain vinyl that seamlessly integrates into almost any room or decor. The enclosure's reinforced MDF construction reduces cabinet vibration for less audible coloration and improved sonic accuracy.

Acoustically Transparent Grille: The Klipsch R-610F floor standing speaker comes with a removable, black cloth grille that is magnetic and acoustically transparent.

Binding Posts: The Klipsch Reference series floor standing speaker is fitted with sturdy binding posts to ensure a secure connection to many types of cable and connectors. The binding post terminals will accept banana plugs (single only), pin-connectors, spade-lugs and bare wire (up to 10AWG). Two plastic caps will need to be removed to use banana plugs.

Stabilizer Feet: The Klipsch R-610F includes two stabilizer feet that will need to be installed to the bottom of the speaker enclosure using the included hardware. Each stabilizer foot features two integrated rubber pads safe for hardwood, tile, laminate, and vinyl flooring. No carpet spikes are included, and the speaker will not support optional carpet spikes or other type of feet.

Note: The Klipsch Reference series floor standing speaker should not be used without the stabilizer feet installed, due to stability and sound performance reasons.

Application & Placement: The Klipsch R-610F floor standing loudspeaker can be used in a dedicated stereo application or in a home theater application as front and/or rear speakers.

  • Front Placement: For optimum performance in a stereo application or as front speakers in a home theater application, Klipsch suggests placing the loudspeakers 6' to 15' apart. They may also be toed-in slightly for better stereo imaging. The listening position should be about 1 to 1.5x the distance separating the speakers.
  • Rear Placement: When used as surround speakers in a home theater setup, the loudspeakers should be placed by the walls directly adjacent to the listening position. Another option would be by the wall behind the listening position.

Center Channel

In addition, Using Kapton (an extremely light and rigid material) in the tweeter suspension provides high efficiency and improve resolution and detail.

Dual 5.25" Copper-Spun IMG Woofers: The Klipsch R-52C center channel speaker houses two 5.25" Copper-Spun IMG woofers. The Copper-Spun IMG (Injection Molded Graphite) woofers are exceptionally light while being extremely rigid - providing remarkable low frequency response, with minimal cone breakup and distortion.

MDF Cabinet: The Klipsch R-52C center channel speaker features a MDF cabinet with a scratch-resistant, textured wood grain vinyl that seamlessly integrates into almost any room or decor. The enclosure's reinforced MDF construction reduces cabinet vibration for less audible coloration and improved sonic accuracy.

Mounting & Placement Options: The Klipsch R-52C can be placed on a speaker stand, TV stand, or shelf. The center channel speaker should be placed as close to the screen as possible, preferably directly on top of or below the screen. The center speaker comes with self-adhesive rubber feet to secure the speaker in place and prevent any damage to your stand's or shelf's surface. The rubber feet add approximately 0.3125" to the overall height of the speaker.

Note: There is no included bracket, keyhole slot, or threaded insert to wall-mount the speaker

Mounting Options: The Klipsch R-41M can be placed on a speaker stand, bookshelf, table, or other flat surface. It can also be wall-mounted.

  • Rubber Feet: The bookshelf loudspeaker comes with self-adhesive rubber feet to secure the speaker in place and prevent any damage to your stand's or shelf's surface. The rubber feet add approximately 0.3125" to the overall height of the speaker.
  • Keyhole Slot: The Klipsch Reference series bookshelf speaker feature a single keyhole slot on the back of the cabinet for wall-mounting the speaker without any additional wall-mount bracket (mounting screws not supplied).

Application & Placement: The Klipsch R-41M bookshelf loudspeaker can be used in a dedicated stereo application or in a home theater application as front and/or rear speakers.

  • Rear Placement: When used as surround speakers in a home theater setup, the loudspeakers should be placed approximately 2' above the listening position. Typically this will be approximately 5' to 7' above the floor. The surrounds should be placed on the walls directly adjacent to the listening position. Another option would be on the wall behind the listening position.

Subwoofer

10" Woofer: The Klipsch Reference series R-100SW powered sub is fitted with a powerful 10" copper-spun IMG (injected molded graphite) front-firing woofer for deep bass. The copper-spun IMG woofer is exceptionally light while being extremely rigid, providing remarkable low frequency response with minimal cone breakup and distortion. The front-firing woofer gives you greater placement flexibility than a down-firing woofer.

150 Watt Class D Amp: The Klipsch R-100SW powered sub employs an all-digital 150 watt RMS (300 watt Peak) amplifier for high efficiency and dynamic bass performance. The built-in, all-digital amplifier of the R-100SW subwoofer delivers ample power with high efficiency and true-to-source accuracy reproduction - thus providing maximum output, detail, and power that fills your home.

Rear Firing Port: The R-100SW's enclosure uses a bass reflex design with a rear-firing port for greater efficiency and bigger bass.

MDF Cabinet: The R-100SW is housed in a durable MDF cabinet and finished with a scratch resistant, textured wood-grain vinyl. Its reinforced MDF construction reduces cabinet vibration for less audible coloration and improved sonic accuracy - giving you the ultimate listening experience that's built to last. There are heavy-duty rubber feet on the bottom of the cabinet to help isolate the subwoofer from your floor. The included low-profile front grille adds a refined look and is acoustically transparent.

Controls: The level control, low pass crossover, and phase control allow you to blend the powered subwoofer's low-frequency tones with your system's other speakers, as well as establish the ideal level of bass.

  • Level Control: The level control adjusts the subwoofer's volume relative to the rest of your home audio system. After the sub's level control has been set, the volume control of your AV receiver will be the volume control for both the Klipsch powered subwoofer and your connected loudspeakers.
  • Low Pass Crossover: The variable low pass crossover is adjustable from 40-120Hz. The crossover point chosen determines where low bass frequencies are "handed-off" from your AV system's loudspeakers to the Klipsch powered subwoofer. Set the crossover point based on the size of your systems' main left/right speakers.
  • Phase Control: This control is used to acoustically match the subwoofer's output to your main speakers. Select the position either 0˚ or 180˚ in which your subwoofer has more output at the listening position.

LFE/RCA Inputs: The Klipsch R-100SW powered subwoofer is equipped with a pair of line-level RCA-type inputs to connect the sub to your AV receiver or integrated amplifier.

  • LFE Input: Most of today's AV receivers have a line-level subwoofer output (LFE). If your receiver has an LFE output, connect one end of a subwoofer cable (sold separately) to this output and connect the other end of the cable into the powered subwoofer's line-level input labeled "LEFT/LFE". Set the powered sub's built-in crossover to "LFE" with this type of connection.
  • Stereo Input: In absence of a subwoofer (LFE) output on your receiver, as an alternative hookup, you can connect Left & Right channel pre-amp outputs from the receiver to both the "Left/LFE" and "Right" inputs on the powered subwoofer.

LED Indicator: The front-mounted LED power indicator lets you know when the sub is powered on or off. The LED will light green when the powered subwoofer is on and receiving a signal. If the LED is dark and not lit, the powered sub is off.

Auto Power On/Off: The powered subwoofer will automatically turn On when it senses an audio signal. It will automatically go into "Standby mode" after 15-20 minutes with no audio signal. You can also choose to turn the powered sub On or Off manually from the rear-switch on the back.

Placement: Klipsch powered subwoofers are designed to reproduce deep bass and deliver the impact that makes your movies and music come alive. For optimum performance, place your subwoofer in a corner of the room on the same wall as your front channel speakers. Please note that room placement can have a dramatic effect on the performance of your powered subwoofer. Corner placement, as suggested above, will increase the amount of bass output, while placing the subwoofer along the middle of a wall, or out in the room will decrease the amount of bass output.
