Jamo S 807
Ryan from Fort Lauderdale, FL on 5/28/2023
Very stylish with excellent sound. Love the ability to add an atmos speaker on top. Speakers are very durable and sit solid on the ground thanks to its extended legs.
Pros: Ability to add atmos speakers. Cost, Stylish, and Crystal clear sound
Cons: Wish it could handle just a little bit more watts. But will never get close to maxing these out, but, would love for it to match the max of my amp.

budget friendly nice overall
Ewell from Virginia Beach, VA on 5/16/2023
Replaced some old polk monitor 50s with these. They sound better when comparing bass, but not high frequencies. I found it much better for me though because I like hearing a bit of bass from back/sides. Just got em' set up but very satisfied. Keeping in mind these are not audiophile types. I could see my teenage self being satisfied as fronts for a first beginner stage. The feet on the things are strangely designed. It plants well but looks odd. Would not appreciate that if they were my fronts. Overall, budget friendly and do the trick for some decent bass and highs. If you are looking for awesome, spend more.
Pros: Cheaper, sound decent
Cons: Feet on them are awkward to set up and look strange

Happy with my purchase
Joseph from Brooklyn, NY on 4/4/2023
I recently purchased the Jamo S-series surround speaker system, which includes the S 807, S 83 CEN, S 803, S 810 SUB, and S 8 ATM. After being impressed by a friend's Klipsch system, I was inspired to create my own setup for a more immersive audio experience while watching movies, playing video games, and listening to music. I personally prefer the warmer sound and aesthetic of the Jamo speakers, and found the setup to be a breeze with the Denon AVR-S760H receiver. Overall, I highly recommend the Jamo S-series for anyone looking for a high-quality surround sound system.
Pros: Looks good, great upgrade for home entertainment.
Cons: Not as open on the top end as other systems but good for the price.

Good Floor Standing Speaker Value
Greg from BATON ROUGE, LA on 3/8/2023
Nice value for a small floor-standing speaker. Construction, fit, and finish are first-rate. The magnetic grill attachment is a real plus. Bass is better than expected. A little shy on midrange performance but that should improve as the speakers break in. Jamo packs these two to a box. Not the best in terms of keeping the speakers secure in transit and handling. Three of the styrofoam packing inserts were broken up and loose in the box on arrival.
Pros: Fit and finish, nice overall sound quality.
Cons: Packaging is not the best.

Sound & look great on a budget
Scott from Kalamazoo, MI on 2/21/2023
Sound great, don't let the price fool you, these are great speakers. Paired these with the Atmos speakers and other Jamo bookshelf speakers to create a 7.1.2 surround sound system. They look great and match the mid century modern look I'm going for. Shipped and received quickly. And always I received the best customer service that is a hallmark of Crutchfield.
Pros: Sound, appearance, price

Pleasantly Surpised
JUSTIN from IN on 1/31/2023
I have these speakers connected to an S.M.S.L. A300 class D amp (85Wx2) and was shocked at how good they sound. The bass response was also amazing; very deep without sounding hollow or strained. The mids and highs are also incredible for the price. I was a little bummed about the unsightly holes on top which might just be more noticeable on the white speakers I chose. I like the idea of upgradability, but there should be some kind of cover included for the holes for people not using the optional height speakers.
Pros: Excellent bass, mids, and highs Better sounding than expected
Cons: Nothing to cover the holes on top for mounting optional Atmos speaker

In 2022, I upgraded an older AVR to a Denon (which I purchased from Crutchfield). A week ago, I decided to replace my older Mirage satellite speakers with some towers. The S 807 are surprisingly light, but deliver crisp highs and ample bass through the Niles amp (also from Crutchfield). Excellent speakers!

Great Option for Budget-minded and/or Smaller Room!
Jeffrey from Birmingham, AL on 1/10/2023
While I have not broken them in fully at the time of this review, I must say I am very content with the S-807s. OOTB they sound very good, and after some tweaking of the system, they sound great. I did quite a bit of research and realized that for the size of the room we have, most others I considered would have been overkill (I know..some of you may say "never can have too much power"!). This pair packs quite a punch for speakers their size...they are not huge. Our home theater is more the size of a "media room". I cannot detect any noticeable distortion at any volume we enjoy; highs-lows-mids all sound great. Keep in mind though, that we have a properly acoustical environment (carpeting, proper ceiling tiles, sound panels, etc.). So far they shine whether listening to music in stereo, or as the FR/FL for our 5.1.2 Atmos setup (we also have the Jamo S 8 ATM placed atop). At this price point and for a smaller room (where you may need to have them closer to the wall behind them - See bottom front of these speakers!) I think most will be pleased.

Upgraded from ELAC 5.2 to Jamo S 807's and WOW what a huge difference in fidelity, sound stage, and overall performance. It's not that the ELAC's are bad speakers; but the 807's are significantly better across all frequencies. Plus they look so awesome!
Pros: Should have bought them instead of the ELAC's

No Brainer
Justin from Kansas City, MO on 7/3/2022
Purchased these based on Andrew Robinson's YouTube review of the 809's which are in the same series. I'm a video producer and editor by trade so I'm used to very accurate/neutral production monitors like Genelec and Yamaha which are industry standard. As I suspected these Jamo's have a very bright and sparkly, personality with a deep and wide sound stage. I love the fact that you don't have to keep your head in a very specific spot to be in the sweet spot. I initially was going to purchase bookshelf speaker with stands but found that these narrow towers actually took up less space. If you're not a bass head you could definitely get along without a sub. (Especially if you have proper tone controls) In summary I have found these to be an incredible value and I am happy. Best of all they come in white which honestly is probably most important in my household considering WAF (wife acceptance factor).
Pros: Available in white with gray grills
Cons: May be overly bright for some people.

Paul from Yonah, GA on 1/26/2022
these speakers are crazy good. i have had high-end audio and still have cardas / hales / arcam gear. so thats 6 grand right there. i recently got a vintage rotel rx102 for the cabin as i decided i'd start listening to music in the living toom vs the hales up in my office. just to check the sound quality of the rotel, i hooked up the hales transcendence ones. sounds amazing for an old receiver, all the detail i want from the hales. played the usual very known tracks in order to see if i was loosing anything familiar. next day the Jamo's show up and astonishing, all the things i want for listening, detailed pin-point sound stage, dynamics, decent bass response. female vocals great. Little wang by stevie ray is wow. wish i had a bit more space for the concert 9s.
Pros: good sound stage, detail. excellent

Great sound for the price
Crutchfield customer from Central, SC on 1/4/2022
For the money these are fantastic speakers. The lows are impressive for the size. The highs are pretty bright, but that works for my listening. These do seem to lack some mid-range, but I was able to adjust some settings to improve that. I gave it four stars because, well it does not have 5 star sound. If you are purchasing these are left and right speakers for Home theater, I think they are fantastic. If these are going to be used predominantly for music, you may want to spend a little more money.
Pros: Price. Great low end for their size They are very attractive speakers
Cons: They lack midrange and for some the highs might be too bright.

Offordable but not Hi-Fi
Dennis from Chicago, IL on 11/3/2021
Very affordable. They do look nice. Nice construction, not Grandpa's clock from 1840 quality, but nice to look at. Packaged fairly well, no damage. Binding posts are solid and large for normal speaker wire. Sound: Does have some bass ability, nothing like a sub or anything with a 8" or 12" driver with space to move. But more than your bookshelf will ever have. Rolls off pretty strong on bass under 120Hz, expected with small drivers. Midrange: There is none. like at least 6db from the average of say 400Hz to 4kHz. Meaning bass and highs are 4x more pronounced. I repeat, no midrange. High-end: Raspy. Bright. Seems like strong boost past 4kHz. Summary: If you remember that buddy in High School that put his EQ with a big "smile" shape...bass and high and zero midrange. You have these speakers. Looks nice, affordable, not horrible sound, but decent brand of bookshelf speakers are better. Frankly for testing I put my Polk bookshelfs on top of the Jamos..running them both actually are complementary and sounds MUCH better.
Pros: Looks nice, good construction Reasonable bass
Cons: -6db drop in mid-range. Will not work for home theater (unless you use captions and don't want to hear voices)

I'd heard great things about this speaker and figured I had to try it for the price, beautiful highs and lows, with a less pronounced mid range, but even still its a great speaker for music and movies. It also looks fantastic with and without grills. I'm running it with a 35w per channel amplifier that can get it plenty loud. If this fits your budget and they interest you they are worth trying, made me think twice about ever spending more money on speakers!

Great Purchase.
Crutchfield customer from Nacogdoches, TX on 12/17/2020
I purchased these based on a 3rd party website that reviews all sorts of A/V equipment. My interpretation is that the site ranked the Jamo's just below the $840 Q Acoustics 3050i for smaller living rooms, which I have, with the price of the Jamo's weighing against a higher ranking. So when Crutchfield offered them on sale, I had to pull the trigger. A bit of assembly attaching the feet - I carefully started the screws without the feet, then unscrewed, then placed the feet and screwed them in. You need exactly the right size screwdriver and need to work carefully, otherwise there is the risk of stripping the head on the screw. I am the impatient type and was able to get all the feet attached without issue - so anyone can too. I connected to my Onkyo TX8511 - yes its old, and let 'er rip. The Jamo's really sing! I'm no audio expert so I can't review these based on technical specs, but I played rock, reggaeton, ambient and last night streamed Mannheim Steamroller Christmas music. Bottom line for me, is that these speakers sound really sweet. Plenty of bass, plenty of punch, mids are detailed and full. I had never heard of Jamo before, but I am glad that I discovered them. For the casual listener, like me that isn't into audiophile level equipment but is willing to spend a bit more for great sounding equipment, you can't go wrong spending this much for a pair of these. They also have a small footprint, look cool and wife approved.
Pros: Great sound quality for low price. Can build home theater system around them. Small footprint. Look cool. Up firing speakers for Atmos attach directly to the top.
Cons: The combination of the size, shape and finish make them hard to grip and move around - a more high end finish would have been nicer, but its a minor complaint and in no way should be a reason not to buy. I have the black finish and it goes with any decor. Stands out and blends in both at the same time.

Anthony from Michigan on 3/28/2018
Bought these speakers from the manufacturer about a couple of weeks ago, because the walnut color isn't available on Crutchfield (Hopefully it will be soon). Speakers sound fantastic. I have Jamo throughout my home and these do not disappoint. They sound neutral without any coloration. The tones in the music sound accurate. They sound bigger and more spacious than the size of these things suggest and the detail is definitely there. For the price, it can't be beat! They are sleek looking and probably sound just as good or better than a lot of speakers with a higher price tag. Proud to see Jamo sold at Crutchfield.
Pros: Open, airy sound full of detail. Minimalist design.
Cons: Could have a little more weight to it, but metal feet provided supports the speaker very well.
