Overview

Our take on the AudioQuest Perch

I've learned this from testing headphones every day:even the most durable headphones need proper storage. The heavy-duty AudioQuest Perch is designed to be easy on your headphones, while letting you show them off. Your headphones rest on the padded headband support with their weight evenly distributed. There's no unnecessary stress on the headband or earpads.

The smart way to store your headphones

I've learned this from testing headphones every day:even the most durable headphones need proper storage. The heavy-duty AudioQuest Perch is designed to be easy on your headphones, while letting you show them off. Your headphones rest on the padded headband support with their weight evenly distributed. There's no unnecessary stress on the headband or earpads.

The steel frame is tall enough to hold even the bulkiest over-ear or on-ear cans, with plenty of room for the headphone cord underneath.

Works perfectly with the Audioquest Nightowl Carbon headphones. It should be fine for other brands also. Well built. One piece. Only downside is the price. A bit expensive.

Great Headphone Perch Reccommend

Crutchfield customer from Quincy, MA on 1/16/2019

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

I needed a good headphone stand for my Meze headphones. This stand is great. Keeps my headphones protected while I am not using them. As usual Thank you Crutchfield for another great product. You are truly a great company whom values your customers.

Very well constructed headphone stand

James from Gibsonia, PA on 12/27/2018

Crutchfield Customer Review (What's this?)

Prior headphones were stored on a generic omega-shaped desktop stand. While these options are very cost effective, they do tend to compress padding if the clamping pressure of a given set is rather strong. Looking at the Audioquest Perch, the design is what I was looking for to hold my new headphones but the price seemed rather high. I threw economic caution to the wind and purchased the Perch. Crutchfield's shipping and packing was spot on (as always). Unboxing the unit was uneventful. This stand is incredibly well constructed and has the appropriate weight to ensure that there's no movement. Actual setup was nothing more than affixing the three protectors for the feet (if you opt) to do so. There's no tilt or unevenness noted. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to these accessories. The build quality of the Perch is second to none. Highly recommended!

Pros: Weight, Construction, Capability to support larger headphones

Cons: Price

Features

Overview: The AudioQuest Perch is a tabletop headphone stand that allows you to store and display your headphones. It works with any headphone, regardless of ear cup size or style, headband construction, weight, or cable length. Perch is made of high quality materials, and comes fully assembled.

Construction: Perch features a stable, heavy base made of die-cast zinc, with an 11" tall tubular steel frame. The stand has a curved eco-leather top platform to support your headphones.

Ergonomic Design: The shape of many headphone stands creates strain on the headphone's headband and earpads, causing them to become misshapen over time. Perch lets the headphones rest naturally, evenly distributing its weight across the length of the headband. Placing and removing the headphones on Perch is a one-handed process, unlike other designs that require two hands to spread open the ear cups.

Dimensions:

  • Width: 6.759"
  • Height: 12.1875"
  • Depth: 6.765"
