I have this cable connected from a legacy Sony CD player to a Denon receiver. It delivers great sound and works perfectly. The construction or body/weight is a bit light for a optical cable. I am always afraid of kinking or breaking the optic strand. You just need to be careful when installing, otherwise sit back and enjoy the music...

Cons: The cable is a bit wimpy as I am always afraid of breaking the fiber strand.

Does a wonderful job for a reasonable price!

Pros: No compromises in sound quality that I can hear.

Cons: I wish I'd have ordered a bit longer than 1.5 meters...It's a bit of a stretch going from farthest points of my typical, low profile AV cabinet.
