If most of the trucking you do is at night, then you need a heavy-duty camera that can really pierce through the dark. The Boyo VTB301HD camera gives you night vision up to 32 feet. Mount this camera wherever you need it to clear up your worst blind spot. It's also equipped with a microphone, so if things are noisy up front and someone outside is guiding you, you'll actually be able to hear their directions.
Boyo backs this waterproof camera with a SHARP CCD image sensor and an excellent, 120-degree wide angle view. Reverse image selectability lets you customize the camera for use beyond rear-view.

Good deal good product
I had small Clarion reverse camera. Great resolution, but Lasted just over a year. Front cam is Pioneer, great res, still works. So I ordered Boyo. Arrived fast. My wife said it looks like a real camera. So far works great in Miaimi hot sun. Res is great day or night. Heavy duty bracket and hardware. Nice long cable with ground shield, rubber seal for cable entry and screw on coupler. Oh. It has a microphone also, so u can listen to outside activity. Thanks Crutchfield.

Rugged camera, night vision, waterproof rating, flexible mounting, 120 degrees of view. Just the right specs for me. Sorry I didnt see this sooner. [ Rocky Jan 03, 2019 ]
I have this tied into my Pioneer DNX571TR, but since I use that as a stereo and a Navigation device, these are only used on demand. I will say that the image is clear enough that it would certainly be suitable for an actual rear view mirror. Good luck! [ Todd May 28, 2018 ]
Yes very much so, [ GUY May 31, 2017 ]
This cam has a very high resolution - I believe that you could use it for a rear facing recording, but it would depend on the storage capacity of your recording device. It works great on the back of my CMV - even the guys at Blue Beacon haven't managed to get water inside it yet (even though they've sprayed their pressure wash hoses right at it!) Rear view camera inputs on aftermarket stereos are commonly video-only. You can connect the audio from the camera to the stereo's auxiliary audio input; you'll just need to have the aux input as the selected source to hear audio from the microphone. I hope that helps.
