Again, I'd like to compliment Crutchfield staff support. Guided me the selection process. Interestingly, Crutchfield support is far superior to Klipsch (which is non-existent). There is a demonstrable difference between the Klipsch center channel compared to my previous model. My rear/front/sub/center are Klipsch. Fantastic experience.

Love this center channel. First off the price point was a lot less than other retailers. Crutchfield was about $100 less than any other place . The sound of this center channel is clear and crisp. At higher volume I did not notice any distortion whatsoever. I have these paired up with Klipsch R-625FA floor speakers. The transition of sound from front surround through to the R-34c was great. I haven't observed any issues at all. Very satisfied with the purchase!

This center is great. The clarity of dialogue is so clear and precise, and that was just from the start still breaking in. Klipsch does it again with another great product. I highly recommend this center and the look of it with cover on or off is nice, plus being ported in the front gives you more options to hang or put in a cabinet.

Arrived on time. Very well packaged. Perfect finish. Easy setup. Superb sound - crystal clear dialogues with a nice extra bass punch. The previous center channel had us constantly jacking up the sound to understand the dialogue - no more. Oh yeah . did I mention the price point is sweet. Love this speaker.

I ordered a center channel speaker from the online website. It was the lowest price on the web for a new unused product. I was surprised after I placed my order to receive a phone call from a customer service rep, Jim, I believe his name was to ensure my address and item was correct he informed me of the estimated shipping and delivery dates as well as discussed the technical Support options if needed. This exceeds anything other on line retailers do. Made me reminisce about the customer service you used to receive back in the old days. Can't say enough good things about Crutchfield and how they will now be my go to store for anything they sell

Overall first impressions are very good, I believe Klipsch makes a great speaker for the average listener. I upgraded my entire home theater aside from the subwoofers. I spent the morning listening to music and it sounds much better then the entry level other brand speakers I replaced, as I would expect. Good sound, great looks and when you find the outgoing models at a discount they're a great value.

I didn't think this would be that crisp and clear like I had heard, but boy I was wrong. I am very impressed with this reference center, a lot smaller than the previous pro center P25 from JBL that I had, but it definitely out performs. I got it because it was sleek and fit my furniture better than the JBL, but it was also much better all around.

Nicely improved the sound off my home theater system. Compact size works well for my set up. My system had a 20 year old JBL center speaker so this was a good cost effective upgrade. I know that it is preferable to have all of your speakers match in type and manufacturer , but this new center seems to fit right in with my other older speakers and sub.

Exceptional clarity. My old center channel was just not up to par. This new Klipsch CC is just the addition my system needed. This CC is perfectly timbre matched to my front Klipsch 8000 series towers & Sub. The integrated eyehooks on the back made it very simple to hang on the wall just above my TV. The Samsung TV sits on a low rise stand and so this is about four feet off the floor. It blends in perfectly & sounds even more awesome that it looks. The spun copper look of the cones made it an easy choice to go without the grilles!

I have been surprised how wonderful this speaker is ! Looks beautiful and better yet sounds beautiful ... I replaced the R-52c with these R-34c as the center channels. I love the low level bass that emanates from the front firing ports. Listening to the TV now is a joy. The audio seems to just pour out of the lips of the characters and the speakers disappear. A sonorous, clear but deep sound spreads out into the room - wow !

You get what you pay for!! Replaced the center channel speaker on my Polk Audio Blackstone? TL1600 with the R-34C and haven't missed a word of dialogue yet. Pretty much like night and day between the center speakers. No longer need to crank the volume to try and pick out what is being said at times.

My first home theater setup coming from using sound bars. At the moment i only have a 3.1 this towers are paired with is R-620F and R-12SW. Using 16 AWG for all the fronts and will run 14 AWG for the rear and ceiling speakers for a 5.1.2 setup. The dialogue is clear not muddy like on the sound bar and details i haven't heard before after re watching a few movies. Am very pleased with this speakers so far. I wanted a bigger center speakers but due to my size constraint i have above the fireplace mantle i only had a few choices being the r-34c one of them. Glad i ended up getting this one. But am a noob with home theater so at this time any of the choices i could of picked would of sounded better than my sound bar lol. Crutchfield is the best wish they have a store in the west.

Best shopping experience I've ever had

I live in a loft with 16 foot concrete ceilings and exposed brick on all four walls. Previous owners left some old but never used Bose 301 speakers. I purchased Klipsch R-51M speakers from Crutchfield to use as front R/L speakers connected to a Denon AVR-S750, and used the Bose 301's as rear surrounds. Because of the open nature of the space and the brick walls making it difficult to wall mount anything or add/move electrical, I wanted as much of my equipment to be ceiling mounted (on the existing beams) as possible. This setup massively improved the audibility of music and movies in my space, allowing us to listen at lower volumes while not losing fidelity. We still had a bit of trouble hearing spoken word in movies, though, and were frequently raising/lowering the volume, so I later complemented the setup with a Klipsch R-10SWi wireless subwoofer and Klipsch R-34C center that I kept at listening height and am totally blown away by the quality of sound. Spoken word is clear, music is incredible, and movies are thrilling with this setup. Crutchfield staff was AMAZING at helping me find the right items, and their digital experience and support tools are leaps and bounds ahead of anyone else in the industry. I was never pressured to buy and always felt like I was talking to a friend whether on the phone or electronically. On top of it all, items were competitively priced, shipped for free, and arrived in less than a week.

I am using this as a center channel speaker powered by a 70 watt per channel Onkyo receiver and was hoping a more realistic understandable sound. The speaker has a fairly clear dialogue but the sound lacks depth and is weak. Turning up the volume distorts the dialogue in a relatively large room. This is possibly a very good speaker in the right environment but without results in mine.

I received my R-34C last week and must say I am impressed with it's performance. I am using it with a pair of R-51M, a R-100Sw sub, and a Marantz NR-1510 5.2 AVR. I am currently using system in 3.1 configuration. Dialog comes through clear without distortion. background sounds present but do not overpower speech. For the money, a definite keeper. Good unit. I cant detect any clipping. I have just this center speaker (with an old reciever) and a klipsh 12" powered sub. Very clear voices.
Pros: Lots of speakers to spread the sound power out. I'm glad it's not powered so I can use the features of my reciever.

Perfect size to fit on my mantle below the 60". Replaced my muffled flat Infinity center with this. Sound is just as advertised; Crisp, clean dialog and great overall sound. I did have to back down the output a few decibels to balance with my front left and right speakers. I would definitely recommend.

Great Center Channel - Especially When Space is Tight

I had a limitation for the height available on a mantle for a center channel. Some others fit for height, but were over 12 inches deep, which also presented problems. The R-34C is much less deep, yet sounds great. This replaced a Polk CS-10 which had nice sound, but unclear dialogue for movies. The R-34C is much clearer for dialogue making movies much more enjoyable. Since the Klipsch R-34C has much higher sensitivity than the Polk, it required some re-balancing with the fronts - no big deal. It does seem to get even better sounding as it breaks in. Very pleased so far.

Love the Klipsch brand and sound..Next to my Klipsch subwoofer this is the most important upgrade to my system..Now the voices fill the room in a way I didn't even know I was missing. I can hear subtle dialog that I used to struggle to hear. There's even added bass that is crisp and clear that I never had before from my center channel. Love this thing

My home theater cabinet did not have much room (in terms of height) for a center speaker and the Klipsch Reference R-34C fit the space perfectly. The low height of the speakers did not give up any quality of the sound as well. It's paired with Klipsch Reference R-620 floor speakers and the combination is producing excellent sound with very clear dialogue. I recommend the R-34C speaker for anyone looking for a center channel speaker.

Beautiful highs with immense detail. Capable of mid bass down into 40hz range. They can even handle quite a bit of power for middle channel speakers. I ended up buying 2 because I enjoy them so much

This speaker has greatly improved our home theater experience. We have had an all-Klipsch system for many years, but until recently our space limitations prevented us from using a Klipsch center channel speaker because they were all just a bit too big to fit. As a result, we used a decent quality but unmatched center channel speaker from another manufacturer. Because the system wasn't well-matched, it left us having difficulty understanding some dialogue. However, this particular speaker was designed expressly for lovers of that bright, spacious, thrilling Klipsch sound who need a lower profile speaker. I knew five seconds after installing it that we had a winner. It looks fantastic and the sound is rich, clear, and powerful. BRAVO!

Great speaker for a small space

I purchased this as a replacement for a Polk Audio TL1 and am very satisfied. This speaker does an excellent job of handling vocals and taking the work away from my left and right channels. I was pleasantly surprised by the clarity that the small woofers offer. One caveat - if you have the space i'd definitely go for the RP-500c for only $20 more, but if space is an issue this is the speaker to go with.
Pros: Great sound in a slim design. Easy to drive. Fits almost anywhere.
Cons: Deeper tones aren't quite as clear as other center channels i've heard, but it's a tradeoff im willing to make for the size.

Great center speaker. Crisp and clear. Just a wonderful sound. For my system most of the center channel is spoken. This speaker provides clear easy to understand spoken words. It is also very crisp for other center channel sounds.

Cons: Do not sit your RF remote on top of this speaker. The magnetic field is intense enough from the speakers that it may cause problems.

I recently started updating my surround system (Receiver, speakers) and have been researching numerous brands. I decided to purchase the Klipsch R-34C for my center speaker. What a great decision it was! I can now hear the dialogue/voices in movies and tv shows that we watch. Crisp/clear and detailed sound is now heard through this amazing center speaker. This was my first Klipsch speaker and I can't wait to complete my 5.1.2 surround system with more quality sounding Klipsch speakers very soon.

Sound is solid. But depending on program/channel playing conversation can get marginally muddy-certain voice tones seem to steer toward reading CC and missing picture. Older remastered movies are not necessarily the only culprit. All music fares better-even lyrics especially if band's style fronts the vocal. Unit is paired with Klipschorns which may not have enough bottom end for my taste-at times since I don't just sit and listen to classic rock-meaning I'm not always in the sweet spot and no amount of volume overcomes that consequence.

I was running the Klipsch 5.1 Theater pack system and the center channel dialogue was over powered by the surround speakers during heavy action movies. I was in process of upgrading my system to a 7.2 setup and bought this R35C.....Wow!!! This beast has a small profile from the other center channels from Klipsch which I was looking for. The dialogue is crisp, clean and finally levels out my system without increasing its volume control. Definitely I must have upgrade if your looking for a great center channel and it's look is just the icing on the cake.

that reference speaker was just going to be a small addition to my array of bose speakers (in ceiling 791's and floor 301's) - but the amazing sound coming out of this bigger than average center speaker is so incredible that i had to order a pair of Klipsch Reference R-625FA 's yesterday.. with my yamaha 3080 i bought from crutchfield a couple of months back, these speakers will totally enhance my entire system.. i can highly recommend the r-34c - it is very cool..

This speaker is great. It's fantastic at turning muddled commentary into crystal clear dialogue. Fantastic sound quality. It obviously will fall short in bass response when compared to its larger siblings that have 5 and 6 inch woofers, but if you have the right mains and a good sub, you wont miss it, though you will appreciate having super defined dialogue. I highly recommend this speaker to anyone that is in search of a speaker that will help them hear what is being said, even when action in the scene is intense.

Adequate Bass, Clear Sound, and Slim design. This speaker is a good choice for a center channel with not much available depth and height space, which was a problem with many of the larger depth speakers Mine is on top of a television cabinet/ entertainment center in front of a raised 65" LG 4K set. It doesn't block any of the views of the television and is right in the front. It looks and sounds good. Would recommend.
